What do you want for the next Starfield DLC?

I haven’t played starfield in over a year. I finally uninstalled it last night to make room for other games.

Bethesda doesn’t have the communitys trust right now, they can’t afford to rush this.

That’s AWESOME… the 23 people still playing the game will love it.

Hopefully if they do release another dlc it doesn’t suck as bad as Sh*tted Space.

They need to finally make outpost and ship building bigger and better.

The main thing that’s going to get folks back into Starfield is an overhaul of the gameplay experience itself. Folks feel bored and the game feels lifeless. The NPCs don’t respond like actual people do to situations, the loading screens are annoying and the storyline becomes dull after you enter Unity a couple of times.

Huge???? 😂😂😂 its been 2 years since starfield went out! Is a joke that we have content until now! Look oblivion remastered, we have the game and only a few patchs without any big content, for me they aren’t delivering and looks like a bad joke 🤡🤡🤡

My biggest let down, is the lack of permanence, you can’t keep anything. While a huge DLC would be awesome, I think dropping random Starborn you can make companions would be better… and with each new companion, comes a permanent bonus, such as an ever expanding base of operations, maybe a space station similar to the one from Watchtower, but all your ships are patrolling around it like the Crimson fleet Key, a hover car for traveling on planets, maybe one could show you how to start in a random location after you start a NG+ instead of Vectera every time, you can still restart NG+ with nothing but keep the Starborn permanents as they should be very random and hard to find, in multiple playthroughs…

I think creating expectations is an excellent way to ensure disappointment. I’ll wait and see.

How about we see some fucking aliens…the stupidest decision ever to make such a large scale game inhabit 6 sectors and leave the other 94 plus alone ti randomly generate…..this is why spacebourne 2 will always be better then starfield sure it may not have great graphic design or cool cities but the amout of shit you can do is second to none. Starfield will continue to be nothing compared to the best space game out today

Man, it would be dope if they added the elder scrolls planet, even if they just added one town from each province where you can land visit the jarl, or emperor, or sultan or whatever the rest call their leaders, and you could mayhaps buy some drip from that area and some melee weapons.

All I know is flying between planets adds nothing to the gameplay and every second they spend on it is a second they didn’t spend actually improving the game.

Never buying a Bethesda product again. They burned me 1 too many times

SteamDB has been wrong more than right when people predict. I’d say the most likely scenario is Terran Armada drops at the same time that Starfield goes live on the Ps5.

I paid 100 bucks for starfeild and was pretty let down. Wasn’t the worst hundred bucks I’ve spent (skull and bones) but shattered space was so abhorrently bad I only played maybe an hour of it and delete starfeild entirely. I’m pretty much done with bugthesda at this point. Tired of the disappointments.

I would be very happy if they dropped it now and it had no bugs. If they really delivered a finished product with all the sht functioning and enough material to keep you busy for at least a month.

I don´t mind the loadscreens (when i had a commodore 64 and i had to switch cassette tape in the middle of the game. That is a real immersive breaking!) but it is that i it should be from first person view, like with climbing ladders which also should be an option for first person view. What i would like is how SCS does with Euro Truck Simulator 2 and that is release update changes in what is already there, like lights or better texture. Do changes one or more planets at a time, and not invent completely new solar systems.

Being Starfield and Bethesda, I would assume a new DLC would consist of one tiny mission and will cost $40.

I’m hoping that Terran Armada is kind of like what they did with the Rev-8 or the Tracker’s Alliance, but a little bigger in scale, a large free overhaul that does a lot of big things for the game that fans have been asking for,
But even if it’s a paid DLC, I’m really excited to see that they’re not giving up on the funny space game

Id love to see an entire relaunch of Starfield like a 2.0 with a complete rework of systems and restoration of cut systems/content.

They praise and talked so much about starfield and cant even get proper POIs and not even fix the animations for your character, its not hard to sit on a job you get paid and work on animations for 6 hours and adjust and fix the movement animtions. Even the shooting style, it’s like the character never knows how to properly aim and shoot and shoots like a background character from a 1970s movie.

I still want my money back for Shattered Space…

As someone with a little bit of game design experience, this may sound funny but there are two systems that may benefit Starfield greatly and should be relatively “easy” to introduce given the game base engine, one, large scale battles; the game suffers from the mini skirmish mechanic, you go here and there, find a small to medium base, wipe out everything inside and thats it. Large scale battles with clear objectives, phases (ground, ship), faction reputation and unique reward progression system tied to some kind of military rank would be nice and even give modders another playground to explore, adding much needed flavor to the game and even more replayability, you can even tie the conflicts to some sort of “galatic conquest” like w40k DoW: Dark Crusade and have the factions compete for territories. Two, Mechs; if you think about it, even if bethesda spent 2 years developing a new flight/travel system, it would come up years late, we have no mans sky to name one, which has an amazing travel system, so whatever they do would pale in comparison, now mechs, we dont have many of those, the best mech game that I can think of is AC:RUBICON, and thats a mostly linear game, if you combine the “freedom” of bethesda’s engine with a big Customizable Mech that you can use as the ground phase of a large scale conflict scenario, you have two mechanics that dont require extensive development of the engine and It’ll draw in tons of people.

Only got shattered space to play the genesis mod, shattered space had some nice art but it was a horrible DLC way overpriced

The thing is Bethesda didn’t see Shattered Space as a failure, they saw it a massive win, so if the next dlc has the same effort put in, well obviously the players are wrong.

Please, let them come up with the idea of increasing and diversifying the number of POIs. It’s the big drawback of the game. The repetition of the POIs encountered ruins it all for me, even though I love this game

Terran Armada makes me think of the Watch Tower DLC mod as a possible concept with their ship fleet configuration idea etc…. It’s a good working model that has a backbone that’s worth building off. I am looking forward to the update tho, I do enjoy the game.

Terra armada – Star Wars

I never undertsand why people want more ship parts when there are tons on the creation club and you cant really do much to freeroam with your ship so that is why flying sucks in SF. What we need is more space suits, a flamethrower and a mech that would be bad ass so its something new and bring players back. They need to expand on the game more and add all sorts of cool shit and not just space ship parts that there is plenty of on the creation club for money.

The bounty hunter (trackers alliance) was some really cool shit what bethesda put out on the creation club.

I hope Bethesda will increase the record/reference limit. This is a problem usually only us PC users will run into. There is a limit (and it’s not that hard to get to) to how many ship part mods, quest mods, and point of interest addition mods that you can have before you start having issues like infinite loading screens, crashes to desktop, and other severe visual glitches. This is not the .esm or .bsa limit either. I can break the game with just 110 mods – most are the big paid creation club mods like Watchtower, Falkland Systems, and ASC Deimos. These mods don’t seem to have any direct conflicts, either, and should be compatible with each other. I have 3500 mods that overhaul every location and gameplay system in Skyrim SE and can play for hours . . . but I can only have 110 mods in Starfield before it breaks. There are many others that are having this issue, and no one but Bethesda can fix it. The limit will get even smaller when this DLC drops because it will take up even more of the precious space you have available to add new mods. 🙁

My expectations have been set very low due to Bethesda’s unusual degree of inefficiency, so I would be impressed and surprised by any release that isn’t a microtransaction or one of their older games with a bit of new paint

Also a while back Modders also found references to Capital Ships and things like “ship can’t enter cruise mode until ship has fully landed on Capitol Ship landing pad”. Pretty interesting.

I hope it’s gonna be more than just a DLC. The game mechanic, especially the proc gen needs to be reworked, because that is the main problem with the game. I don’t care about DLC-s until this doesn’t happen. And to be honest they had lots of time to do the rework, so a DLC is just disappointing. I love the game, but if they just pull out a DLC after all this time, I will start losing faith in Bethesda.

I told myself I’d get a neck tattoo with Starfield on it if they ever fix the game that’s how much faith I have. Anyone playing this slop is the reason Bethesda is on fire right now.
