At the start I thought this was Star Wars Galaxies redone somehow in a new engine! Take it as the best compliment, as Star Wars Galaxies is and always will be the best Star Wars game ever made. Never played Starfield but this might be the reason to do it.

It’s odd how this looks way more interesting than base starfield. I think that star wars’ lived in space junk aesthetic helps stafield’s visuals and lighting pop way better than its frankly sterile base environments. Starfield’s engine is capable of very pretty game play when there’s actually something to look at besides bland ugly cities and random nature shots.

This looks crazy! i have yet to play starfield or this Star Wars Genesis mod, but from a non-player perspective (no offense of course, just giving an input bcs if me as someone who dont have the game yet can get hooked, then you definitely can hook more people too :D) i think the blaster projectile animation seems a bit slow, the sound shooting sound effects (not the on-hit) feel the hits could travel faster, perhaps like in battlefront 2? idk how to describe it but try to look at battlefront 2 projectile speed, it def could look even better 🙂 but yeah i think this one is on bethesda not you lmao. KEEP UP THE CRAZY GOOD WORK!!

This mod looks awesome. However I still got PTSD flash backs, when I saw you leave the planet with a cut scene and loading screen and then you opened the star map to go into the next loading screen and then cut the last loading screen (flying down to the planet) out of the video. I really hope someone can somehow figure out how to get rid of all the loading screens and create a more connected experience like No Mans Sky does.

I like that you’re not only working to make a Star Wars conversion mod, but also working to fix Starfield’s garbage gameplay. Didn’t think anything would ever bring me back to the game, but now you have me second-guessing myself.

The fact this is even possible is beyond impressive. It’s like playing the golden era of Star Wars games again, because back then, we thought everything looked so real, and the skies were the limit. I worry about the “Major Companies” getting involved simply because you are doing what they refuse to do for the fans.
I have over 100 Hrs on Vanilla Starfield for Xbox. This makes me want to get it on Steam so bad. (It’s not on sale ($70-100) so I’m like ehhhh).

I also know this project is far from done. (even though there is already much to do, clearly). But I am curious, how big is this overhaul in storage? Would you consider the version you are at as of now “Ready-to-Play”? How much time would I have enjoying this version? Do you think “Big Mouse” is gonna get mad at you for this? lol

man i Have done some light modding with friends on some games and shit and it was a pain in the ass… seeing this is absolutely unreal… jesus this does not even resemble starfield in any way… I am shocked, I cannot imagine the amount of work that has been to change so much… you have essentially built a new game here… I think bethesda should just give up making games and just build empty sandboxes with assets and tools for people to buy and just build games cause their players do a hell of a job at doing amazing things with their existing games.

You have nothing to lose only gain. Don’t need to pay them it should be completely voluntary. I think you’d be surprised by how many people are willing and wanting to help. Just think about the insane progress you could make! (Not saying you arent, what you are doing solo is flipping insane!)

ah stealth. the curse of the stealth archer. buddy gets shot in the face: “it must have been the wind.” you’ve done amazing things so far. I have trust in you, that you will be able to tackle this issue. I think after the first body is actually discovered, and a site goes to alert status, that NPC perception (and active sensors – if that is a possibility) need to stay heightened for a LONG time. even after they stop searching the NPC perception needs to stay on alert for a day or 3.

you can never STOP a stealth archer.. only delay them.

This is what Star Wars Galaxies (mmorpg) could have become graphically given more development time and upgrades to its visuals etc. Galaxies can still fulfill its mission, it just needs to be brought back to life. This looks great and is a great way to showcase what Galaxies 2.0 rebooted could look like.

It would be more mature and professional for you to learn to program games, use a platform, and make your pirated game there. Unreal Engine and others already offer items and quality similar to Starfield, including scenarios and characters, which you can also learn to design and include in the game or buy ready-made. It’s much smarter to spend your time doing something professional than trying to save this failed game from a lazy and problematic Bethesda team.

As someone who gave up on Disney Star Wars after the Last Jedi in theatres proved to be a nail in the coffin.

I was raised on the audio books of legends, I’ve been a fan in rebellion of my own series grifting from the occasional release of Fallen Order and Jedi survivor being the last time I really felt like I connected with star wars anything.

Seeing this project lean into legends lore is heartwarming on so many levels and has really given a new hope to me having that sense of wonder in the starwars universe.

Thank you for all your work so far, it is appreciated beyond any thanks I can give.

I played the game and didn’t mind it. The graphics are really good but the story was trash and things get handed to you so easily just like fallout 4. Ship customization is awesome I think the lore/history about the war between the 2 main factions is so cool and should be the main story more than anything, the breakout of the terramorphs were awesome as well.
The main problem with the game is the bullet sponge of enemies, all humans should have the same health not some random human or leader gets giant monster level health,
The game looks so good they should’ve went for realism

I think my dream mod is the war breaks out between the 2 factions again and you have to choose a side then the other side really starts colonizing other planets and then after that a halo flood like disease breaks out across planets and you have to investigate why and how to stop it whether it just came from some other planet naturally or maybe made in a military lab or some small rogue faction made it, idk would just be a cool story mod

This is the first time I’m ever seeing this so forgive dumb questions but are characters still scripted and talk? Is duel wielding possible? Is there a story mode or is the story mode of starfield still in effect? Also was it possible to maybe reduce loading screen? And final question is companions still available and also larger battles with allies and enemies?

Hey my guy, just wanted to say that I put this on my ROG Ally Z1 extreme and it’s been running pretty well actually so far. Only a few crashes here and there but other than that performance is smooth and the mods run well together. I’m running on low settings but it works 👍

Any chance at an old separatist hideout or something similar to the crashed LAAT but for droids? Loving the progress keep up the great work!

Haven’t played this mod yet. I uninstalled Starfield long long ago after only 35 hours of gameplay because it just wasn’t holding my interest. This will absolutely bring me back though. The improvements and general gameplay in the SW universe is easily enough to bring me back? Thanks for your hard work and dedication. No way something like this is easy.

Can’t wait to update. I have a couple of suggestions. After you retrieve the Mandalorian armor that the ship you leave with is Slave One. In cannon the ship is last seen in Jabba’s palace. Maybe D’Jinn went back to Tattooine and was gifted the ship by Bobba Fett for his help against the Pykes? It makes about as much sense as the current Star Wars cannon does. It would also be cool if you could get an upgrade perk so you could actually fly as opposed to the short jumps. Because, unless you’re on a primarily empty planet, it’s faster to walk than to use a speeder.

The KOTOR ambient music is absolutely the correct choice for an open world star wars game it is so seamless.

This is amazing. The X-wings S-foils (wings) seem a little too wide when open though. Also, I wouldn’t have them go directly into open mode. I would make them closed until a combat begins (unless you wanted a separate control to manually open and close them – in which case they should be closed upon liftoff by default).

Starfield had the foundation to be the greatest RPG ever made. Unfortunately, horrendous design choices and incompetency in writing left the game feeling unimaginably boring. Within 5 minutes, this looks immediately better than Starfield ever offered
