Even with the criticisms, as fair as they are, I really enjoyed Starfield. The atmosphere in the game of really being in an alive galaxy is unmatched by other space games

As far as I’m concerned, Starfield is a complete wash. They don’t have enough of an integrity budget to maintain that i.p. ES6 is their last chance. If they don’t hit it out of the park, they’re going to tank. I just hope they don’t show off tid bits for like a year so all the luster and novelty are boring come launch day.
I’d also like to see an actual law against alpha and beta releases… the old early access bullsh*t is so tired and cringey. Release the whole thing, polished and ready to fly. No more half-baked, simp-“Am I good?” foolishness.

I wish this game had more elements similar to Star Trek with humanoid alien factions/empires, more diplomacy, more choices that shape various outcomes, and more things to explore instead of the same handful of copy-paste places such as the abandoned science outposts that are basically all the same.

The number of load screens remains the same. Sad. Other AAA games will move to Unreal5, and Bethesda will stick with their lame game engine from 2011.

Starfield gets so much hate from people that wanted a straight up space pirate simulator, but as an rpg not being directly compared to its fallout or Skyrim brethren, two of the best rpg series ever made, it’s more than competent.

My feedback. Love the game. HATE the bodies, most of the clothes and spacesuits. They look AWFUL. I stopped playing for over a year waiting for body mods. DON’T do small updates every few months. Do one or TWO at the MOST per year. Make them big and give the community notice. Every update creates problems by breaking mods. YOU guys and gals should understand that breaking the games of the few people that have stuck with the game is only going to hurt your usage stats. I was waiting on a new mod to be updated. The author released the mod just after the update, but the update broke my other body mods. Now I will have to wait to play for probably a few more months. By the time that mod gets fixed, you will break my game again. I’d love to play this game but REFUSE to play it with the base bodies. I also would prefer to play it with attributes. You will probably keep breaking my game and I will probably remove it before I ever get those mods locked in and working. I’ve played the game for a few weeks in the last year waiting for mods to get fixed after you broke them. Those mods are non-negotiable. Without those mods, I have ZERO interest in the game. Maybe you should stop hiring graphics people that have body image issues and seem to be offended by the concept of people looking good. The muscular physique is fat and dumpy and looks like a fat rookie offensive tackle. The skinny bodies look anorexic. The media build look like software engineers that couldn’t do five pull-ups. The fat people are perfect. No a surprise. Make the bodies look heroic or just go away. I don’t play these games to play characters that look like overweight plumbers. I want to play a Daniel Craig type guy, or a guy like the Rock or a woman character that looks like a world class runner or fitness competitor. A small part of your target audience likes the work. If you take a poll, I bet that 90% of people say that the bodies are bad to awful. Just saying. If you want this game to work, either fix the game so that body mods aren’t needed or reduce the frequency of updates. I would venture to guess that 100% of your customers hated the frequency of updates. You broke so many people’s games so often that the mod authors left. Please use your brains and think about your customers while you still have them. A lot of people hate you guys right now. I’ve been with you guys since the original release of Daggerfall. I’ve about had it with this game. Make it worth playing or just blow the damn thing up.

Fix rhe bodies and clothes/soacesuits.

Make the habitual planets larger and put content on those planets. Make more cities and settlements. Make quests. This game has a ton of potential and could easily be fixed.

The building on surface is no fallout 4 in terms of structure options you can’t place foundations in same way and set and adjust according to terrain have many base building materials but the foundations are what holds your structures up!

I hope they keep working on it. I want the ability to always see the landing cutscenes without needing to mod it I. Immersion is a pillar of these Bethesda games, and I want them to keep improving. The world has problems but the aesthetics absolutely aren’t one.

Starfield had potential but it was just never realized. The game / the universe just doesn’t have that same level of intrigue Fallout or TES have. They should have introduced intelligent alien life into the game, it desperately needed it.

Of my friends list I think I’m the only one who still plays this game, I’m still bad at building ships, but absolutely love this game, perfect? No, but it really is quite special for what it is, and I truly look forward to more of it.

I just wish there was more you could do in the sense of more weapons, armour and immersion, still love just sitting in my ship, and enjoying the view of the stars.

I do think that this game will be a project for the next decade at least…whether it’s done as a remaster down the road or a sequel, I know how bad they want this one to cook and there really isn’t many competitors out there with this scale budget. If they can just make it more seamless….

People love to hate on this game and hell I did for a time when it was nonstop crashing sessions but this game brought out some feels..it had its good aspect even for its drop offs, I’ll never forget the first time seeing the title screen like, idk I’ll admit it kinda grabbed me just right off the bat and first time blasting off into space. Or grinding in the ship simulator to get your pilot rank up and learning you can drift a battleship 🤣 or landing on a random planet for the first time just jumping around some space poppy fields to have spacers come out the pores of the moon to gang up on you…I’m a huge sci-fi nerd, and this game reminded me what it was like to engage w my younger “awe so cool!” self even in my mid-late 30s. Bethesda will have my utmost respect for taking me back reminding me how I used to look up at the stars and wonder “what’s that all about”.

I’ve been around the world, been in war, raised kids and this game held a mirror up to me and I felt like I was 13 and completely geeked out while playing this; so thank you, Bethesda, truly.

Starfield Online would be an amazing game. Forming a space crew with friends, engaging in space battles and raiding other players and their ships — that would be epic. As a solo player, I got bored after reaching 100% in the game and doing New Game Plus ten times. The game world doesn’t really invite exploration, and the cities feel empty and not alive or immersive enough. For me, it has the potential to become the perfect online game.

Fallout 5?

I know the game has its issues, but I’ll never forget the feeling of first landing on Mars (Cydonia). As a science fiction fan, that was DOPE! The red environment, the small base, the immense landscape full of giant tubes and machinery. I felt so immersed that I plan to play again just to feel that small experience again.

I loved star field it makes me sad that the internet ruined it for so many people. I’d also add people who complain about the load into ship load into space load to next planet it’s a valid complaint but a huge player base of players fast travel in elder scrolls and fallout games once they discover it and starfield has the same option you can just fast travel everywhere. And complaining about empty planets is brain rot there are plenty of planets with things to do I have hundreds of hours and I’m sure I haven’t even seen a quarter of the content. You also need the moons for bases for farming materials so they’re not useless. People also act like no mans sky has more going on but that’s so far from the truth yeah the planets have life on them but not intelligent life no random side quests or city’s or a gripping story. No man sky’s story is garbage , and I’d argue it’s more lifeless than starfield in that regard.

When I think of star field I get overwhelmed. A game shouldn’t stress me out. I was siked for mods and then I installed too many and the game broke and every time I’d add a new mod id have to go through a list of like 105 and disable them in small groups at a time to find out which mods were breaking the game and which ones I could use. Totally not the experience I was hoping for. Now it’s just uninstalled and I fear the day a cool update launches where I’m tempted to reinstall it and then I’m stuck back in mod hell trying to download cool mods and also not break the game at the same time while also finishing my 3rd play through trying to upgrade my star born life

I would play if they got rid of loading screens and let you explore without going to map all the time for a new region.

I went back to the game once I realised there are mods. Gore makes it so much better

Did they fix the gore so it exists yet? Is the cave still on every planet? Do you still find the same exact outposts with the same exact dead bodies on many different planets still? Is it a loading screen between every screen still? Can you still only sell 3 guns and then have to wait about 5 real minutes to cycle enough time to sell 3 more…with a full cargo hold still to go? Does every companion still hate everything you do? Can you still beat the game with the basic load out given at the start? Do you get to flesh the tech tree out or is it still very incomplete by the time your runs done? Did the missions get better? Did they get more missions? When you unload a fully loaded shotgun into a face does the helmet explode or do they just fall over with minimal blood still?
Every planets the same, every place every stone. It’s crap.

Have they fixed stealth? I want to be able to complete the last Ryujin Industries quest without spotted, even when my stealth is maxed out.

Also, I want zero suits, slim/sleek space armors and for Starfield to actually be good.

Starfield still looks very good just like how it was back in 2024 ℹ️ like the great areas.

Only thing I dislike about Starfield is the stability. I’ll have long sessions without issue and then in another I crash 20 minutes in.

That DOOM mission is something else, it was awesome and I still need to play the DLC. UC Vanguard is definitely my favorite quest line along with the one main story mission with the three different options of who you save.

I have a PS5 and since external assets didn’t exist on PlayStation for mods I ended up also buying an Xbox series X. Got into the modding scene hardcore and realized that even Xbox although it allows external assets, it doesn’t allow script extending (which is another mod that literally runs all the cool PC mods you see on Skyrim, fallout etc.) so I was bummed about that and then it dawned on me that I’m a 27 year old man with a big boy construction job operating excavators and all those dozers with only a girlfriend and no kids so then I decided to drop $3500 on a gaming PC build, now I can play at 4K at 100+ frames WITH over 700 mods on some games. Currently playing a modded red dead 2 with graphical, gore and gunplay changes. Even a realistic gun audio mod and oof it’s so fun. But yeah startled on PC is still just as boring as it is on Xbox lol
