Am seeing the amount of content yeah impressive but those ship parts crimson a mean a no style is subjective but there pony man are u really that desperate for new ship parts lol😅

I was excited when I saw the title, but after watching I feel confused and disappointed with what the mod presents. Loot shooters like borderlands and destiny are great; instant rewards in great quantity in all different varieties. This mod on the other hand, gives you a “token” to turn in to get an upgrade blueprint? Why can’t the upgrades be on the dropped weapons? If it can only be a token system, why can’t it offer a upgraded weapon instead, similar to how destiny handles engrams? I don’t know, it doesn’t scratch that itch a looter shooter would.

I couldn’t get it to work. Game wouldn’t load after installing in.

Looter shooter mod and you spent 70% of the video building a very ugly ship. Maybe focus on the weapon crafting?

i sorta got it going now.and yea its taken me this long .load orders…shouldnt be a thing with “paid mods” when i bought a creation from fallout no it didnt always work .yes it sometimes borked my game.but i didnt have to worry about them.conflicts load order and patches . i see a guy saying it works with darkstar,but if you do it it removes something and you have to add it back.is that working? doesnt sound like it is.i was hoping for awkcr seems its just munitions .

where it is in the load order matters a lot .imo it does NOT get along with darkstar.

p.s. cryomancers .i modded some weapons to op status and did it.because i couldnt kill them with regular weapons.
and no it wasnt because you used cryo weapons .i used flame weapons set them on fire.or turned them into ice cubes .the avontech does have some nice munitions imo.but thats about it.

p.s i figured out my issue.falklands .dont know why it went bad or when.but it went bad.

now i have a new toon shes a potato.but i did all my research and shes lvl 250.
my load order is so lean and mean .game loads up great .

im done loading up new mods.game doesnt like it .fallout that wasnt an issue .here it seems to be .

It’s an interesting idea and the mod definitely has potential but it feels more like a check list of ideas instead of a true looter shooter

I was curious about this mod as it looks awesome, I had already bought it to see if it needs an Ammo HUD patch and thankfully it doesn’t rechamber any of the weapons so no patch required! I am thinking about making a patch for the PDW-27 with this though so it can use the weapon upgrades.

The guy who made the heavy revolver made a new weapon, i got it before i knew their previous mods issues… any chance of a review of that one to see if that weapon also breaks saves?

After seeing my paid mod list expand to 54 mods with only one I’d call subpar, I’m at the point that BGS needs to make some real content for this game, or I move on. Over 5k hours of SF vanilla never would have happened I appreciate the mods holding it down but for what I’ve paid to make it playable I should’ve just upgraded my gfx card played on PC and made my own mods ffs because they are milking console players, and I’m over that.

You rushed that one. Aside from the ship part you just read the Slate so i still have zero idea about the gun mechanic that is the focus of the mod. I could give the mod author the benefit of the doubt though cause of his past work are superb. You could do a part 2 though because we still know nothing other than the description

Another great mod review! Been on the fence about this one. I must give credit where credit is due and the mod author is a very creative person.

How big is the mod file?

you know i do wonder how much Starfield ships have to care about aerodynamics in universe, like you don’t have to deal with a atmosphere in space and all.

I don’t think aerodynamics are considered nessisary in space.

I don’t think you will ever be able to fly your ship over the planet surface. I don’t think the game engine will let that happen because the surface maps are not infinite. These parts kind of give you part shapes like Empyrion Galactic Survival. Gives you the ability to build a ship in any shape.
I think it’s cool but I’m not sure how it will work with the new Darkstar mod, as it adds new Darkstar perks for weapons as well as Darkstar crafting stations. They may not play well together?

The cockpit is kind of cool now that i think about it. You since its square you can build around it without clipping i can imagine.

Its very interesting. Those ship pieces which is of interest to me would take me at least two full days to figure out how the parts work in combination to the vanilla parts. They look like accent pieces. Some of the parts have potential

I did the voice acting in this mod, think it turned out passable but sound mixing is hard.

The mod has been tested with Darkstar.

I intend to roll out patches for other weapon mods that will allow blacksite upgrades to work on them.

For some reason, kaos_nyrb’s mods scale really weirdly, like Avontech Munitions.
Thought about buying this one but not anymore.

I tested this mod with Darkstar and the two seemed to work side by side. The only problem I found was that upgrading the weapons quality would clear the new blacksite mods off. However you can then use Blacksite to put them back on again and the weapon keeps its upgraed quality..

Well, I do use avontech, but as far as ship building I don’t know how to flip an merge parts,so that right there is one reason I’ll might just hold off on this mod. Fighting in the atmosphere is really cool tho. As usual nephew thanks for in-depth coverage

Unfortunately this mod is not for me for various reasons.

First, I don’t like that the upgrades are in existing slots and not add new slots. The MA did a mod a long time ago that did exactly that but sadly they did not update it and deleted it instead 😢 The blueprints adding additional benefits instead of replacing existing slots was much cooler. Especially because now your existing slots are blocked from modding if you dont have the specific blueprint unlocked. That’s an absolute dealbreaker for me.
And outside of the workbench you dont even really see what the stuff does. The only other way being a dataslate with a long ass list with all effects is equally meh.

Also, the voice over is very bad… someone needs a better mic or maybe better hire someone professional. I reall don’t understand how you cannot call this VA quality out in a 600 credit mod Crimson…
