Bethesda is the worst. Taking out flight mechanics and turning ships into teleporting space-houses with the most minimal customization options ever was a BIG mistake.

Shattered Space was probably cut from the game and sold as DLC. I can almost guarantee that the yearly DLC they refer to is paid mods.

frankly i can name 2 good quests one is the one they have you infiltrate the crimson fleet and another that has you stop a terror morph apocalypse. havent found much on it thats good its gotten better from where it was but its still rather… mid to be honest. i think todd needs to but out and let the dev teams cook in stead of inserting himself into every fucking thing.

Well, Starfield could theoretically be saved, but it needs to be polished for several years. Perhaps it was worth starting with the unsuccessful controls (picking up containers in space and leaving the pilot’s seat on the 1st key, etc., etc.), then perhaps it was worth hiring a sane writer, since at the moment the story is, to put it mildly, lousy and not exciting, then work on the sanity of the combat unit, then loading, then NPC reactions to events, etc., etc.

And hopefully you’ll make enough money to get out of your grandparent’s attic. Blink twice if you are being held captive. 😂

I like SF for what it is. I wish to god they’d make it better but I know they will not. The best way to play SF is with low expectations and plenty of imagination…and I mean plenty, like pretend you’re playing a finished game.

Starfield would make a fine modding sandbox, but Bethesda insists on updates that break everything you have going on every few weeks, this mod stops working, that mod stops working, back to Nexus for the update, maybe, rinse and repeat…
