The truly sad thing is that woke games like World of Warcraft still have high player count, it could be the chinese communists and other international players that are boosting those numbers though. Blizzard also does not eliminate bot accounts efficiently last time I checked.

Starfield richly deserves every word, and more, being said about it. I’m old… might never see TES6… because they spent all that time making this slop?

I tried so hard to love Starfield, I wanted it to be my home and to spend hundred of hours exploring and crafting and just using it as an escape from the drudgery of real life….but the quality, the lore, the immersion… the feelings the game generates… is just rotten.

I definitely disagree with a lot of his takes but Luke seems alright. Also I think he is from a family of lawyers or something, but that’s probably wrong my memory is garbage. He definitely comes off as a rich kid though.

Starfield needs Todd’s passion back, they need to really want to add great concepts in the next DLC.., and they need to stop the braindead forced DEI mandates.., but it might take longer for such a good DLC (if Shattered Space needed so long…)

It’s such a shame because like Oblivion, the bones are there in Starfield. I love the idea of hopping into my ship (loading screens and all) and jetting off to a new location. The problem is there’s nowhere interesting to go in the game. In Skyrim I can run from Whiterun to Solitude 1000 times and have 1000 unique journeys. That’s what they needed to capture if they wanted the game to have legs.

Why do you still care? I didn’t even buy this dookie. Last Bethesda game for me was fo4. And even then, the FROST amateur total conversion mod is better than vanilla fo4! That speaks volumes about the talent that’s left at Bethesda.

I mentioned in chat to Luke about SF could be better if they tried. He said Todd is convinced the game is fine as is. How delusional is that? I play SF I like the game. I do not like the MQ. As someone said it looks like a great ocean when you first play it for a few hours. Then you realize the ocean is a wading pool with no depth. It really looks like an unfinished game. The only expansion I want are aliens, more exploration, more POI.

To this day I don’t know where Bethesda came up with the 10 million player count, even if we only count Xbox, I only saw PC players discuss the game, I would very rarely hear xbox players mention the game, even then they said it was just for gamepass. 10 million has to be a lie, it would be the talk of the town like Call of Duty or GTA, the most normie games ever.

Got 76 for free on ps a few years ago. Spent 3 months exploring the map and occasionally doing npc quests, did most of the main story without realising. Flaming dual bar chainsaw and fixer are my goto tesla cannon for backup
