We desperately need more halo mods
I like the mod cuz I love Halo but just as the video shows every 24 hours you get one of the 18 possum weapons it took me forever but eventually got them all through waiting in a seat at the gun store over and over again
They all look really messed up, this is garbage
This mod looks cool but I am partial to pistols & there is already a mod that adds the iconic M6D with some amazing customization options. I hope to see better halo armors in the game. I love the Vale armor but there there’s a bug that makes the color revert to default every time you enter the menu. Main issue with weapons mods for me personally is damage scaling. If they don’t work on lvl 200+ enemies & aren’t competitive damage wise on extreme, they don’t serve any use for me. Even with that said, I repeat, this is a very cool looking mod.
Great review. I’ll be downloading this mod. But when you say “You could easily line up the animations” or “You could eeeaaasily line up the animations” I’m going to guess that you’re dead wrong.
Given that so much outstanding work has been done here I would imagine that if you could easily line up the animations, they’d already be lined up.
I’ll bet you that even when the animations are very similar, to get the players hands and arms to manipulate the gun perfectly would be really hard.
Possibly the hardest part of some of these mods.
I’m imagining a modder watching your reviews and breaking furniture saying “Easily?!? EASILY?!?”🤓
I really wonder why there hasn’t been immersive first person mods for Starfield, where body and legs can be seen when looking down…🤔🤔🤔
I tried this when it first released and had the same issue then that you are having now. Weapons not spawning and also, I see the textures still seem to be an issue

Perhaps review more oupost mods, but by making your own “offical” outpost test shooting range build as a mod review 🤪lol. Perhaps you could interview some modders, with yours and community questions as to how modding works, the quality of mods free or paid, and general understandings of modding 🤔. You’re entertaining and personable and honest and sure you have viewers that are known enough modders who have that have some out there and would do it . Am here for any of it inded. There is a mod for Halo armor that came out last year but I never checked it out.

I have had this mod on my backlog for the next Ammo HUD update for a bit now, so it will be in the next release once I can focus on it, but I did not know how many issues this mod has. When I start looking at mods for AH support I often find problems which need to be fixed and always reach out to the author to provide insight and knowledge, I decided to look at this mod today just because of this video. There is definitely issues with both the quest which has the injection script but also the items being injected, I have sent a long message to the author with highlights of the issues and how to fix them. Hopefully they take those and work on fixing them, as I always do with authors I work with I made myself available to them for guidance/assistance as needed.
There is a Halo armour mod, but it’s kinda jank and outdated.

I think we found Crimson’s new favorite weapons. Those are all really well done too, especially for a free mod. I’m not even a huge Halo fan or anything, and I am tempted.
Now you need to review Hawkmoon by ExoWarlock, because he perfectly ported weapon stats, perks, and effects from Destiny 2. It is only one weapon, but faithfully brought into Starfield.
it would be really cool if we got a halo style replacer for starfield similar to the Star Wars overhauls that currently exists
A usnc specific (new) vendor would be great as it could have the shields. Etc.. also. Parallel of tge vanguard vendor in cydonia.
I have had my eye on this for a while on Xbox but I just was unsure of it. this mod looks amazing and I really want to have it, the only turn off is the animations and the hard to acquire parts of some of the weapons. if the mod author can successfully add the proper animations and everything and make things easier to acquire I would download this mod in a heartbeat because I am an OG Halo veteran from the original Halo Combat Evolved 2001 era video games. Too bad the ammo counters for these guns don’t work in Fallout 4 on Xbox😂!
For the algorithm! Another great Starfield mod review. This mod did force me to stop and think about something i had never considered before. No disrespect to any mod authors creating Halo content for Starfield but where are the Creations by Bethesda that add Halo content to Starfield like the Doom mod? I know that the Doom mod was made by kinggath but my point is Halo is a Microsoft property and its story and setting work well with Starfield’s story and setting even more so than Doom. An official Creation that adds Master Chief’s armor or weapons or the Warthog land vehicle to go along with the REV8 and Deimog as a form of cross-promotion is such an absolute no-brainer I am amazed such a thing has not happened already. Microsoft owns the companies that hold the intellectual property rights so should be no conflicts to making it happen.
Crimson, the console command for the heavy gun with the shield (I’ve never played halo so I don’t know the name) is “help mk247h 4 weap”.

Awesome in concept but disappointing ultimately. I can’t get over the awkward “bugginess” of the weapons and the copy / paste ammo / effects etc. Mainly the lack of animations which I know is not the modder’s fault but yeah. I’m sticking with the ma5d rifle and m6d for now.
Well worth the hassle, it’s a very cool mod. I had to spawn them on P.C but they showed up like one or two weapons at a time on Xbox

Super cool mod! Was wondering why they wouldn’t spawn for me on PC. Starfield will be insane when we eventually get custom animations for mods. I think I’ll wait a bit for this one but super cool for sure.
You can get the turret in the Creations version of the mod.
It’s just got an extreme low spawn rate at vendors.
I hope an update comes that adds proper icons.
To answer the question about scripted injection vs manual placement in levelled lists.
The main downside to doing it manually is a lack of compatibility, because it’s an edit to a vanilla form it means that only the last mod in the load order that touches that form will have it’s changes applied hence why most of us use scripts to inject our items or custom levelled lists into existing ones when the save is loaded (this is usually done via a “quest” that automatically starts, runs the script and ends on start up but can in theory be triggered by a button placed in the world or some other means).
I don’t know where the creator got the idea that scripted injection doesn’t work on Xbox because it’s a pretty simple papyrus script and not something that has ever needed the script extender to work.
