My english isnt bad, but man WatchTower can be add portuguease subs?
The fleet comand in Watchtower need update, I cant chose right or fast the NPC to my ships.
Another mod I want to see is a UI with split medicine and food, to fast use both.

Another mod I looking for is a Giant Bases/Build your won city. Man, can you imagine create a Giant spaceport to 13 ships. Use another to create a trade rote outpost to outpost.

I’ll say this, if we don’t hear anything by the end of September I’m gonna have to start believing Starfield is dead. They did say once a year and September would be the year mark. Bethesda is not known for it’s communication.

I wonder how Kinggath defines “huge”. The mod download numbers on creations certainly dont seem huge. The viewership on steam is usually in the double digits. I don’t see fan content other than mod reviews and the occasional late to the party Shattered Space review. The big Star Wars mod with the race swapped characters is the only big mod besides Watchtower that i have seen anyone talk about. I don’t buy huge. I don’t think he would lie but that feels like one of those “from a certain point of view” opinions.

It was a boring SHOWCASE, but given they didn’t touch on any of the primary 3 IPs in the engine i’d think hearing something will be coming soon. Fingers crossed.

Is Watchtower updated to 1.0.2 yet? I wanna buy it but only after the update kicks in, so i wont have to redownload it. According to that link you posted in 3:28 , Kinggath is ‘waiting for Bethesda’s QA team’ to push the update to their creation site? Im not really into creation modding so idk how it works.

Also somewhat off topic, but idk why he hasnt just split the mod into 2 creation pages to not have to remove some content to get it to 2GB in file size.. Sounds like an easy solution, could price each part at 500

Regarding the lack of Starfield content at the Xbox showcase: Todd has said for years that his preference would be to say nothing at all until he was able to say “This is our latest offering and you can play it right now!” but that he was never allowed to play it that close to the vest. My guess is that the virulent hate storm convinced Phil Spencer (head of Xbox Gaming) to let him have his way. I think we’ll get some advance warning, but not much. Maybe a few days or a week at most. Blame this on the rage monkeys. Edit: Showcase!

I guess I’m optimistic, maybe they are being quiet on purpose. It seems like hyping up a game backfires on them so shadow dropping a DLC is the better way to go.

Well given all the hype by many SF YouTubers it’s no wonder the “Showcase” was a flop. This is a good example of the tail wagging the dog. Given all the crap I saw being “showcased” by this so called event I realize why kids are so messed up. I’d rather BGS schedule their own “Showcase” on their own schedule to do a good trailer that isn’t rushed in 30 seconds or less. Just my take. Thanks Richard for excellent quality SF News!

Bethesda isn’t the industry’s darling anymore. They haven’t been since even before Skyrim. They’ve been in the big leagues for YEARS now, and they’ve never really adapted properly to it.

He is a talented mod author, but he has zero official affiliation to BGS, you keep bringing this up like it settles anything. He’s just another guy giving his personal opinion like everyone else.

The big difference between his unsubstantiated claims and everyone else’s unsubstantiated claims is that he actually has an inherent bias and interest in painting the game in the best light possible because he literally makes his money driving people to Creations and making sales off the game’s Marketplace.

Him saying “Everything is totally fine, dont worry!” is not anything resembling the authoritative confirmation that you seem to think it is.

Hands down my favorite game of all time. I know there are bugs and quirks, but they are a small price to pay for such an immersive and rich story.

I love this game. And Watchtower was IMPRESSIVE!

I like the game , in fact I’ve put more hours into Starfield in 1 year . Then I have in Fallout 4 since it was new . But I haven’t played any Starfield since Oblivion Remastered came out .

I mostly blame Microsoft for moving dev teams around or getting rid of some due to budget situations. Really Bethesda should of never been brought by them cause it seems like Microsoft don’t know how to handle their game studios.

Phil and Sarah trying to put on a positive face when they knew this showcase was a let down from the get go.

I’m disheartened about no Starfield update. The Xbox showcase just felt like THE place they’d do it. I love the game and the modders have been phenomonal just like the Starfield community. I just wish Bethesda would give us something other than radio silence.

I’m too dang old to gripe and moan about games I don’t play consistently.. so I play Starfield because I friggin love it.. got Watchtower loaded into my mod list.. waiting for the right time to play it.. so, I’ll just watch you and Crimson Flyboy for updates on youtube.. works for me 😉👍

I actually jumped back into starfield it feels great to play again after so much time off it feels flawless in the series x since last time i beat it

I do not think Starfield is strong outside of its exceptionally loyal fanbase. The game does not bring in many new players and now is relying on micro transactions to maintain that quarterly stock report, which is not a good sign for any single-player game (i.e., Ubisoft). Who is still super into the game, but looking at the raw data about new players on console and PC to existing players? No, I would say the damage has been done and likely won’t see a comeback. I fear we can expect 1 (or maybe 2) more official paid DLC and a bunch of paid mods, most of which Bethesda won’t have any part in creating.

TLDR: As an AAA game, the measure for longevity and success (in a pure single-player offline title) is not being met for Starfield in its current state. Hanging in there, sure. Strong? questionably debatable. The simple earnings-to-cost ratio years after release will explain this.

I DO like this game. A lot. Facts are facts, though.

Hopefully Kinggath is right and Starfield has a future because no dlc announcement is bleak. Also, the New Atlantis mod is intended to be background/back drop, I don’t think they are going to fill that part of the city sadly.

I have a Polly-Anna, rose-colored glasses, glass half full hope that there will be a special Bethesda showcase that will feature the new Doom game, the Oblivion remaster, Starfield, and possibly the next Elder Scrolls title.

I think this showcase will feature the next dlc and news of Starfield releasing to PS5/Nintendo.

MS were already hard-pushing their new handheld and Outer Worlds 2 in this event. It was Obsidians time to shine.

ESO, Fallout76 and Indiana Jones were all just dlc trailers. None of those trailers featured any of the Bethesda leadership. If that was all they had to show I think that Todd or one of the other leaders would have been featured briefly in the showcase.

I would expect the Activision teams to get a bigger feature than just a few trailers too.

Dunno where those “lots of people” are playing the game, but I know they aren’t on Steam. Must be game passers and xboxers? They didn’t even mention the game in the Xbox Showcase… Kinda getting mixed messages honestly. If it was doing so well, wouldn’t they at least mention it? After all there is still one more mandated DLC coming before they can abandon the game, even though they promised 10 years support. I’ll eat my keyboard if this game is getting updates and support in 2028, let alone 2033.

I still love starfield. I hope the silence is them stepping back and really making Starfield MUCH better with an update/DLC that will actually turn the game into what they meant it to be. They werent lazy with the game. Proof of it that it ran damn near perfect on launch, compared to other bethesda titles that were….. very clunky. It feels like the game had all the vital stuff cut from the game. and really they should take time to revive that cut content, and bring it back to the game. Overhaul the games core issues, THEN make a new DLC or implement an overhaul with an update the same day as a major expansion release. I will not abandon starfield. Its a good game, its just not a finished game

I quickly saw the BS in Steam and the critics when I started playing Starfield a few weeks ago. The game is amazing and I highly recommend to try it out.

I’m glad he is enjoying my $10 I’m on my 2nd game blocking bug guess I have to wait for another update. Highly annoying wouldn’t be a problem if I didn’t pay for it. Bethesda is really dropping the ball with Starfield honestly nothing about Starfield in xbox show case. They going to make us wait for another meh DLC Starborn hope they make it count for once. Not concerned about the showcase at all. I’m glad they didn’t try to pit Starfield against a bunch of other games and get lost in the noise. And there are channels on here that were waiting to rip whatever they would have shown to shreds, regardless of the actual content. They can have the night off.

An announcement made directly to fans, along with the freedom to talk about console ports, much closer to the actual time of release (avoiding hype) is a much smarter move imo.

I’m not gonna lie it is upsetting we don’t have any Starfield news but the new Xbox handheld is really cool and I’m looking forward to clockwork Revolution! Also “showcase”.

I have been enjoying Starfield without watchtower . I am waiting for the new update. Kinggath sent me a mail where the issues is in creation and they are waiting for a fix so xbox players can play without any issues. Just a quick question: watchtower high or low in your loadorder?
When I was playing i notice the graphics/ lightning was so much better and my love for starfield kept growiing again. I recommend the mod treasure hunting expansion by midru . I have been to places I never knew existed especially cities and different poi. Thanx again Richard for your sunday news..

Showcase….just wasn’t much for me. I do Starfield. And while that was on I was building my fleet and promoting some of my NPCs to captain! Hey, does that mean I’m an Admiral now?

The Showcase left me disappointed with no news for Starfield or TES6 —but that is ok, its Sunday officially now, as Richard has brought us the weekly round up 🙂

Showcase… OK, like the most disappointing XBox Showcase for me ever… the only highlights to me were Indy and Clockwork Revolution… I have played a ton of Starfield this week despite a heavy work load (I need to unwind somehow). I have been Slowly working on the Watchtower mod, I have unlocked all the Fleet spots (8), but still need 2 more ships… I designed a ship last night that holds 20 skydrop modules +2 mechs, for a total of 22. I have also started playing with Xenomaster by Ghostrider231 and am having a blast with my new pet Ashta… More Xenohunting incoming! Be Seeing you all… In the Starfield!

Watchtower is over rated I’m sure there are people who have not had problems but that’s not everyone’s experience including myself. Relying on mods to make the game better rather than bethesda is not good. Really does seems like there not that interested and would rather charge for little tweaks that mod do rather that put it in the game themselves. Just feels like they cash grabbing

I’m not so unhappy that there were no news about another DLC. I still haven’t been able to get updated versions of all the mods I use. Another update would only mean that even more mods would break and I would have to wait for updates. I am okay with just two game updates per year.

I was very disappointed that BGS didn’t even mention Starfield today…but that doesn’t change how I feel about this AMAZING game…still gonna be playing it just as much…hopefully we will hear @ least something from them soon though…thanks for your positive outlook and content as always Richard! 👍

The future of Starfield entirely depends on Kinggath. Bethesda seems to have thrown the towel, judging by what we saw at the Xbox Showcase.

Bethesda doesnt even seem to care about this game anymore. Nor its fans and remaining supporters. Xbox Showcase absence. So disappointed.

Just like Oblivion Remastered, although rumored to be in the works, just fell out of the sky. Does not mean something is coming. But if it does, I think that is how it will happen.
