Starfield was going to need Mod Authors to step up in a Major way to make it entertaining in the first place and think of it all of what 1 or 2 gigs of mod space for Xbox gamers. That was a clusterF/B what have you from start after you play through once the whole value of the game is gone so much for choices matter and heck the new game plus state is so bonkers that alone just learning about might take whatever joy was in the game away anyway. Back to my key point, it was going to take mod authors stepping up to really make the game fun and that is an issue games should release in a state of being entertaining on their own in the first place. Bethesda is not going to be able to release games that heavily rely on mod authors to make them good anymore there is way too much competition.

I had fun playing starfield. It wasn’t so good to keep me playing but please tell me another space game that has better space combat and you can board a ship and take it over. I will definitely try it.

I actually like Star field yeah it was absolutely flawed in many ways i agree with alot of criticisms people have and they definitely should of had less worlds overall that where bigger in scope and more immersive and alive but still i find the game different and fun and at least it was something different to fallout and elder scrolls.

I think they just tried to do way to much and ultimately it failed because they tried to be a jack of all trades.
And because if that it never really got any of thr things right even though imo the story abd companions were the better parts of the game

My former roommate was absolutely obsessed with this game. He played it on a 70″ TV. This same twit broke lease and left me holding the bag because he has too many kids and baby-mamas. Just for that reason alone I’ll never touch this trash.

If Bethesda dies out, I am hoping that Unfrozen or Larian Studios buys Elder Scrolls and makes it better. Bethesda is too American-Canadian anyways and culturally Americans as well as Canadians are not really grounded (as you can see from our layout of neighborhoods) in the culture of old Europe that Europeans still find themselves in. So because of that Europeans would be better at making these games.

Heroes VI was designed by Hungarians, which are more fascistic than Russians, which may explain why that game wasn’t as good.

Limbic Entertainment is German, which is striking how their game was so bad, but I bet it is because of their budget like the expansions of Heroes IV. Because the premise wasn’t so bad. It is like the original Heroes in a way, just with a lot of back story similar to Heroes IV expansions, which may be a factor for why it bombed so badly.

I hate rich types. Look I know you guys, and this might not include Qwazar, have this whole view about property and money. It is all wrong. You don’t earn money. Money is a resource. You cannot earn a resource, because the concept of that is so damaging that it is unreal. You know a lot of people speak of money being source of evil. Why do you think that is? Because of the concept of earning it. And I’ll explain to you why that is. What happens when you perceiving money as something you earn? There are two notable alternative outcomes which may coincide. You make someone your slave, in dept to you to acquire money to survive or such happens to you. It is slavery ultimately. You are not free to pursue what you want because you need money to survive.

Not everyone can move from where they currently live especially with restrictions states in the U.S. have made, it is not as easy as you may think. And even if you own a farm, unless someone teaching you how to farm, (like the saying about fish), you are not going to be able to farm effectively. Farming isn’t an innate skill that you can just pick up, it is something you have to get better at like riding a bike. And farming involves food, so you are still tampering with your ability to survive like walking on a thing strip of rope when such should be made relatively easy for you. Surviving easily don’t not impede evolution. It is when you don’t have much to do outside of that which impedes evolution. We don’t need to get better at survival and we are not going to get worse at it. It doesn’t take long to teach a human how to hunt, so we aren’t going to suffer contrary to what some people have told you. By the way, hunting requires less skill than farming. So that is why bringing up hunting doesn’t disqualify what I had said about farming. It is the other stuff that doesn’t concern immediate survive, long term implications that impact hundreds if not thousands of years such as engineering and mathematics (STEM essentially) that we need to get better at to promote our development. And our progression has a positive, not a negative impact on our evolution. We compare ourselves, not sure if you know about this, with paleolithic people who may in fact be a separate race from all of us. People we aren’t related to as much as we may think. Anyways, there is a lot of information that has skewed the perception of our survival. So I just wanted to bring that up to negate all of the talking points that push away from my intended message on that bit.

Nevertheless, not to sound too autistic or s word, we are advance enough to acquire everything we need across the globe. Where we fall short at is our societal development which can be remedied real quickly if we take power away from the rich, who are worthless, and test ourselves to guarantee in a representative or republican structure of government that the best qualified people get the job.

Democrats and Republicans and even to some extent with Independents are not qualified for their jobs either as elected or as appointed officials. There is no test, but we have enough general knowledge to establish a test to determine if someone is qualified for their job. This is already done in Taiwan. It is not something completely new. Bureaucrats under Rome and Persia were tested on their capabilities before they were granted a job. We don’t really do this, but we should and if we did, we would be vastly well off from where we are right now. You would have politicians that are vastly better than what we get from both sides. No more spineless Democrats. No more heartless Republicans. At least, it would be really difficult to fake your way into power and you would be exposed rather quickly and have to leave rather quickly too or suffer very strong and immediate consequences. Similar to Japan where if you dishonor the country, you have to resign with dignity or you are going to wish that you did. Unlike here where we just don’t even consider punishing such people. But we can.

Likewise, you can do the same with corporations. Corporations are semi-political in nature and so you can apply political principles to them to make them more efficient and more effective with less baggage. Something you would want, Qwazar if you want good games. The more efficient a business is, the more likely a game will resemble Heroes of Might and Magic III over something like Starfield. Less efficient a company is, the more it makes loot boxes to cover up the fact its games aren’t making enough money because they suck.

I still play it & don’t see what people are complaining about with the game. Doing full game playthrough now finally.

The main missions where you floated in the same dome structure slowly towards glowing pixie dust over and over killed me lol it was so bad

Only thing that got me back on starfield was the free Doom mission on creation club, which was cool for 5 minutes until i realised i could just go play Doom. So i did. Much more fun than this lobotomy of a game.

Problem #1 is the game engine. It only barely worked for Skyrim, and F4 stretched it to breaking. Starfield was/is just a complete hot mess… and so will be TES6 also :/

For Starfield to become anything like ‘good’ it would need to have a Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty level of rewrite done.

I haven’t played it, but everyone I know that has just said it was boring, not terrible but definitely not what fans wanted. I think people really bought into the hype & expected a Skyrim-esque game and they got a bland mediocre one. Personally I think Bethesda is done making great games, they have drastically changed & what made them great has been replaced by corporate spreadsheets & forced inclusion lectures.

(lets look at some of his glorious writing, When you are doing the pirate missions and have to go to the earth savior award mission. It would be an amazing heist, but no you just bully people around and they give you what you want. Seriously the woman who has the earth savior award will literally relent if you go and “persuade” her, by going “ill keep annoying you till you just give me the key!!!” and she… she just gives it to you? I expected I needed to pick her pocket, sneak into her room and find it, but no, its not even in her inventory and she just magics it to you?)

Starfield needs a complete overhaul because as it stands. It is a poorly optimized game, The systems in place(not the settled systems, ill get to that in a bit) are paper thin (seriously, did we need magic in this game? it would be better if it was hard scifi)

The settled systems are a joke. Do not argue against this. The game could have been reduced to 10 planets and would honestly be better for it. Have the games main factions in 3-4 star systems. And honestly you would have not noticed any change (lets face it, while its impressive that starfield has over 1k. when only a small handful of planets gets used by the story or the other factions, and 99% of the planet is empty aside the same plants, same animals, and caves that hold at most 1-2 resource nodes, its not even worth it. specially since the structures you can find are basically carbon copies of each other, even down to dead bodies and enemies hanging out waiting to be killed.

even the new game plus mechanic was badly implemented, I did the game three times to see if anything changed, and I noticed nothing. The third time was when the shattered space dlc came out (only got that because I bought the deluxe one for the OST to run in my own space dnd based games. I got halfway through the dlc and it just… got me more uninterested than ever before.

Elder Scrolls VI is gonna be more Starfield than Skyrim or past entries. Although i did hear if you use Star Wars overhaul mods it makes it way better.

I really like Starfield. I have played the fallout games, the elder scrolls games, and I think Starfield is a very good game. The ridiculous hatred it gets and undeservedly low reviews on Steam probably deter the developers from bothering. They spend years creating a game only to have the community crap on them for it. I think Starfield will become more popular as it becomes evident the negative reviews were way overboard, and that it is a great game

Watchtower is a much better DLC than Shattered Space, less buggy, better story, better writing and voice acting. And a better lore cohesion to the main story. It adds a whole new gameplay loop, takes advantage of one of the favorite aspects of the games, shipbuilding, and gives you the ability to build your own fleet to follow you into battle. Qwazar saying “noone is loving it” is pure ignorance speaking.

Game would’ve been so much better if they would’ve narrowed the scope to have hand made curated environments that felt alive. They decided to have a massive environment that no one cares about.

Well on hist point at the end game mods are not DLC and are entirely optional … well until Starfeild that they were needed to fix lots of what was broken and hard to use in Starfeild. The story mods are also usually written, directed, coded and voiced by people hoping to get paid who you do not have to pay. So quality is kind of random and all over the place. Just from the mods on Nexus Mods the modders can do a better job than the dev team at Bethesda for writing and coding an add-on to the game. Most of them went back to skyrim as skyrim is at least a stable platform that they know not an unstable platform that uses an entirely new method that makes it harder for them to add content into the game.
The way Bethesda made Starfeild harder to mod than skyrim is a major part why Starfeild will not live as even 1/2 as long as Skyrim is.

Ahhhhh Skyrim, where you could have no idea what you are doing, set out in any random direciton, and have an amazing time after finding a quest or dynamic encounter. There was no “you’re playing it wrong” in Skyrim. Devs didn’t need to make those comments.

Starfield was abysmal and the DLC didn’t help the game.

I wanted to like starfield, but the story started so…forced, I stopped after about an hour of gameplay.
