Also worth mentioning but if you set up FSR resolution to 100% it will not take care of the upscaling since there’s none BUT it’ll take care of the anti-aliasing process !

Or you look at the bar that says resolution percentage and you change it down to 100% cuz episod won’t be active in its native you don’t actually have to change your preset it could be any preset just change your percentage lower than 75 is recommended

I just downloaded the starfield on my asus ally and it crashes a few seconds after loading in. I tried everything with the settings. Ugh frustrating.

The sweet spot is to turn on upscaling and set the sharpening to 75%. Weird how they just didn’t add quality mode and so on that does it for you. I installed the DLSS mod eventually because FSR just wasn’t cutting it. Tempted to get the frame gen mod for my 4090, pretty much doubles the fps.

you Need to install it in SSD HARD DRIVE

It’s not a bug you just have to lower Render Resolution, by switching the presets you default back to the lower then 100% Render Resolution of the different presets so you dont have to switch presets just set render Resolution to for example 66%

Considering you seem to be using a gpu with yours. Won’t play on ally drops to 11 fps then shuts off even at low and the quality is terrible ps2 look

Its not a bug the preset automatically sets your resolution scale to 0% you had it at 100% originally.

R5 3600 and 6750XT fsr still lowers my fps, have 37fps in low preset, and with ultra everything i have 43. Makes zero sense.

They call it Nasa Punk because you need a goddamn Nasa computer to play this punk ass game.

I have just been using RIS at 1080P medium custom settings 40 – 55 fps with my vram set at 8gb. I loathe low settings

In order to enable FSR, you also need to edit the Render Scale Resolution setting, otherwise you enable the upscaler at 100% render scale and OF COURSE it wont get you performance uplift.

Yea FSR in this game is a little weird but I think why it only kicks in once you turn down the render resolution it because BGS is using it as a anti-aliasing thing compared to the normal presets we get. I’m using the DLSS mod and that works the same way I hope they add DLSS and FSR 3 FG once the games early access ends and we get another day one patch

it’s not a bug, fsr requires you to lower the “Render Resolution Scale” (5th option down) for it to work, when you enabled it it was at 100%, when you set the settings to low it dropped it to 50% (lowest)

Any other tips to get more frame rates? I have a Nvidia 2060 and all the settings to low at 1080p. And can’t get close to 60fos outside.
