Pointless addon.
An expansion for the well would be cool. Feels small considering it was the original foundation for new Atlantis. There aren’t even any player homes.
When it comes to overhaul mods, I’ve always subscribed to the idea of less is more. So often with modders who attempt projects like this, the project gets away from them somewhat and this seems to be the case here. I appreciate the work the mod author put in, but it’s just a bit too much.
New Atlantis is already an actual city.
The person who made this doesn’t understand the aesthetic Bethesda was going for and ruined the charm of the city.
I like city redesigns and everything…but why don’t modders start focusing on making entirely new cities on different planets?
Honestly, I’m waiting to see mods that can cut out the endless loading scene on the creation club, the best immersive starfield mod ever made
This looks very much like the New Atlantis Awaits mod.
I think I kind of like this mod but it doesn’t really add anything of that much significance, the landing pads on top of constellation is really cool, the ramp that leads out into the wild is pretty convenient.. so if you don’t want to go into the city right away or want to go out and explore you can just leave your ship and go out that way.. I noticed there is a few stores and one of them I think a card was talking to somebody saying that you can’t go in but you went right past it.. is it be cool if some of these mod offers would add some more quests along with that content.
Now if someone would actually implement real working boats even if it’s just a mod, that would be cool to be able to deploy a boat from your ship somehow regardless of what planet you’re on, where they had boat vendors on major planets.
I didn’t know if you knew this but you can actually hack into the GalBank ATMs and get credits out of them
Just a content idea…I’d love to see a video on every non-constellation hireable npc’s backstory.
I would love it if they would add a mod that made the NPC less ugly and more interactive with the player. Perhaps interact with them if the player tries to talk to them or even some limited dialog. Or even a few more followers.
Also a mod that gets around the requirements that limit active crew on a ship would be great. Right now I think that you need to be at level thousand or something crazy like that.
Maybe even Followers that could do things like heal you. Like a Dr. or a medic. I know that there is at least one NPC that you can hire who claims to be a Dr but can’t really do that.
Finally, I wish that player build outpost got an overhaul. As this looks so unfinished, it’s almost embarrassing.
12:34 Would not mind seeing this in the daytime.
I like how you can see more of the city. Also that said city is bigger and better looking. The original seemed more like an outpost. Which seems out of place when dealing with a capital city. I would think that a class M planet would have a bigger population than this.
On the other hand the mod seems unfinished. With lighting issues around 12:34. Or no way to access some parts of the city without a jetpack. Or a shop without a merchant.
Perhaps if he added another residential area? Most of these private rooms would be closed off to the player but it would give them the feel that this place was big.
I woulder would u be able to help when in all the big cities there’s a lot of ships spawning in space and make my frame rate drop like crap I don’t have that much mods on
I honestly thought Xbox would never get this.
I absolutely love what this team has done to improve New Atlantis. I also love Bethesda, but it kind of puts Bethesda to shame for their “largest ever city,” which I understand was for engine limitations and crowd size.
That being said, this Creation actually makes New Atlantis feel like the City it was meant to be, as the largest settlement in the game.
Unfortunately, this Creation is unlikely to be compatible with any other Creation that adds to New Atlantis. Like Apollo II Suite, Falkland Systems, and Stroud Premium Edition. If the team behind this City does make them compatible, kudos to them for it!
Good ideas but . I think I will keep the original
From what I’ve seen I like it, they made bigger and more alive but didn’t turn into something it’s not like Neon.
Naw
The mod community is single handedly making me love this game and you can tell they pay attention to other mod authors because they have been increasingly been uploading with patches ready for other mods you really love to see it
Despite obviously the frame drops, I quite like this. The best kinds of mods are additive (adding to what’s already there, not completely changing it). It also makes compatibility easier to manage.
This is one of those sorts of mods that could prove to be a mainstay in people’s load orders for years, as long as the mod author doesn’t suddenly remove it from Nexus and slap a price tag on it for Creations like certain others have.
I picked this up to check it out…I play on Series X and noticed very minor frame rate blips in the heavier concentrated areas of NA but nothing major and that was with Z79s crowd overhaul running as well. This mod adds a bunch more NPCs especially to the spaceport area and I think it looks really cool. Makes it more immersive for sure – always thought it was weird seeing only like 3-4 workers at the biggest spaceport in the settled systems. It’s listed as a beta so hopefully it’ll only get better over time.. Thanks for the review as always CFB!
Nexus is always preferred for PC anyway. Easier to handle patches/updates anyway (such as this mod already having its own Patch compendium).
Damn if people actually played this shit im sure this mod would be popular

Very cool review if my game didn’t run like shit. I’d download it. Also does it conflict with other new Atlantis mods? Alright crimson thanks for reviewing.
This mod actually looks very good. This is what I’d imagine new atlantis to look like. A big sprawling city. Especially since it’s supposed to be the new cradle of civilization. The mod author has constructed a cohesive and seamless city. And it’s not just cosmetic. You can go to these areas. This is actually a good job. And its Beta, so he plans to add to it. I’m going to download this one. Thanks for the review Crimson!👍
I like that people are trying to expand on the cities but so far I dont like the approaches. It feels so random and nonsensical. I’d rather leave the current layout intact and add new districts around.
I prefer the ease and lack of hassle that creations allows for. The mess and work to just to get mods to work from nexus.
Bet this breaks the Stroud Premium mod, which I love.
Personally I like the idea, I just don’t think it was really executed well.
Somethin’ they absolutely should’ve focused on was expanding NA’s starport so more ships can land and make the place feel more alive n’ active.
On top of that, the skyline could’ve been better designed. As it stands now its a bit too chaotic and dense, when I think they should’ve made it wider instead and kept the buildings spread out.
Lastly, having some low-density residence and sprawl around the lake would’ve been great to see. Adding a bit more belivability to the city as to where people live. Not everyone wants to live in apartments.
Coffee time! Great video. Thanks for the review. Keep up the great work.
I like the way you present and view the mods. The two mods “TGs Galactic Harvest” and “Darkstar” would also be interesting. 👀 Best wishes from Germany. 🇩🇪
Why was this mod not tested before release to correct the problems so we don’t need to download a bunch of patches to fix it
Thank you for this review….I like this mod a lot but my game keeps crashing after I installed it, not sure causing it….
Thank the gods the modder also released patches for Falkland, Stroud Premium, DP Aerospace, and Midas Manor!
Edit; I was using New Atlantis better water mod, not sure if that will work or not. I also removed lights on new atlantis and removed Rabbits Real lights new atlantis, assuming they won’t be compatible. If they are, can someone let me know, please. 🙏
HUH?? No Falkland, or Midas Manor 🤷♂ I cannot get this without the Midas Manor 😭
Thanks for the review.
I would never install a mod like this, because it’s a compatibility nightmare, and NA is just fine (and awesome) as it is. Bigger is not always better.
And I don’t trust any “overhaul” mod. Those are the kind of mods that can break on an update, and people will whine about how “Bethesda broke their game”, when they did it to themselves.
Hard pass.
Why did the humans name their shiny new city in space “New Atlantis.” There was never an “Old Atlantis.” Very odd choice by the devs 😂
I think I still have an Xbox 360 kicking around somewhere . But I’ve been a PC exclusive gamer since Skyrim was a new game . And in the same time that Xbox has been replaced about four times I’ve only replaced my computer twice . So the whole idea that console gaming is cheaper isn’t true either .
Why not switch to daytime though? Nearly the entire video is during night time. Day time makes it much easier to see any differences.
Dp mansion also gets coverd with building, also looks like falkland gets coverd, and if you got the stargate you lose that too, but looks realy good.
Hey! They put a flippin’ parking lot where my outpost is! Damn urban sprawl!!!
thx Crim

Great Video Crimson and thanks for keeping the broken ankle theme we all appreciate it.
It looks awesome, but the window textures look very jarring and hastily slapped on, especially when they light up at night.
I know its some hoops but to be honest IIF you uploading to creation for Xbox but wont upload to creation for PC, I dont trust your mod. You already went through the stuff to get on creations so you know how to do it. Just do it.
I installed this and thought it was good, but it stops you from entering the part of Falkland where you can build/buy a ship. An invisible wall is inside the outer part of the Falkland showroom
Oh wow I would love to try this on my Series X but unfortunately I’m done adding mods to the console version. Too many frame drops and it’s driving me mad. I even started a new game with only 6 mods installed all of which were achievement friendly and nothing special but there goes the frames again especially the area near Constellation HQ. I’m not even talking 60fps here. That’s a complete impossibility. I’m talking a 30fps that STILL stutters all over the place. Spent so much money on all this but I guess I’ll have to go mod free until I get better hardware.
Edit: I’m a determined kinda guy so I gave it a go anyway. Fresh install and this was the only single mod I used. Just as I suspected the second you walk off your spaceship the frames drop all over the place. 60fps is a no go. Drop it to 30 and it’s ok right up until you get off the NAT at The Mast district and bye bye framerate. Can’t even manage steady 30fps with everything turned down.
I’ve been using mods since morrowind, so I’ve always would rather downloading the mod, checking their files and manually installing what I need over the simplistic way of bethesda’s creations. Why? Because Bethesda has no quality control what so ever over the mods that’s been uploaded in their platform.
It’s all fair and square if at least I can take a peek on the files before installing. I want a zip/rar mod.
(EDIT: No, I’m not the mod author. I’m just a guy with a wildly unbalanced loadlist of mods that somehow manage to work together)
For those wondering, it does work by default with McClarence Outfitters, Monstrrs Textures, Rabbits REAL Lighting, Star Wars City Additions, the Stargate mod, both elevator mods and the New Atlantis stairs mod.
But there is a major FPS drop.
I was hoping you would do this one, if Falkland is installed your unable to get into the area where you build your ship
