Theres a freeof that does this but it does it better im waiting gor that mod to be sold…
With the mod im waiting to buy u can call the ship to u by placing a beacon down and your ship will arrive or u can teleport yourself to your ship…
But this mod seems to be bare boned 😆
I had to try five times before I could knock out shields and then transport. It would be nice to just transport from the pilot seat.
Neeher is a LEGEND of Fallout 4 modding. One of the top three mod authors for that game, easily.
Of course, when he turns to Starfield, he even does the paid modding approach right, only adding it as an option to allow console users to keep earning achievements.

Definitely an iffy mod, seems a little tricky
I don’t see why you need whole habs for this when the transporter is just a little doohickey attached to a console. Give the doohickey a screen and it could have been something you could build anywhere on your ship via the decor menu.
That, and this seems inferior to docking if the enemy ship you’re transporting to can still shoot at your ship while you’re walking to the transport hab. At least if you’re docked, nothing’s going to shoot at your ship while you’re walking to the docker. Either way it’s still just a loading screen to board the other ship, so I don’t see why this adds anything to the experience (except maybe the failsafe mode).
The other way to look at it instead of buggy, is as immersive. I don’t know too many people who would just get up and abandon their ship in the middle of combat.
I was using this last night and encountered the same kind of thing as you. I think this mod is a great concept and I can see that for immersion purposes why you would get out of your seat but I think the transition from ship to ship would feel a little smoother if you could put the transporter device itself into your cockpit using the ship builder. That way even if there was a slight delay it would still feel a little smoother and quicker. It’s a great piece of work though.
I think decompression is from zero g to g
It would also be better not just for this Mod but for gameplay in general for the next most competent person in your ship that can Pilot should sit in the Captain’s seat and fly.
If your ship had some powerful EM Turrets, that might help. It seems like it’s going to be tough on Very Hard or Extreme to pull that off. EM disables for a much longer time.
The decompression is an immersive new idea for the game. That is what would happen if one of the ship’s Habs were punctured, all the air would be sucked out through the hole into space. Not sure what role impact it has on gameplay here, but it’s very dangerous.
I think if you have multiple ships in the area, the odds are high that the closest ones to you will not now be the one just damaged with no shields – unless you blow the engines off as well and come to a full stop… Would be good to know what the scan range for a target ship is.
Also having this as a ship decoration that we could place would be even better.
Cool idea I guess but it seems like a PITA lol
I could care less about achievements after I started modding. The fact that this has a free version that is exactly the same as the pay version makes me want to support

This Transporter Room was the only piece missing from “Grooves Advanced Ship Tec,” and now I have the perfect Star Trek ship in Starfield, with fully functional parts.

Thanks to @Neeher for the Mod and @Crimson for the review. This is a brilliant concept. Could the Transporter be classed as a ‘Docker’? That really would make it more interesting. Press ‘R’ to dock and transporters lock on and engage… poof, you’ve boarded a ship!
I have like 3k hours in this game and I never knew you can’t die if you’re not in the captain’s chair while in combat. Thanks for testing this one out. Was curious about this one

Cheat unlock all ship parts then you can get from anywhere. Looks cool but got to build a new ship to try it out. I hope SgtOwl 🦉patches it into his ships or work together on it
