When is the huge update coming to main branch Rust Console Edition (Normal Rust). With all of the new changes does that mean that we have a recoil change and is this recoil like PC version of Rust. I think the new recoil will be a good thing for console, specially if it makes scrips harder like you said. Pluss it gives the controller a chance to battle against the M&K players as the recoil will be easier to control

Mil tuns is very buggy in the test branch right now, scientists respawn when your in the middle of doing the monument, scientists also drop so many green cards pickaxes and mp5s and some of the scientists have more health than other ones for some reason

The hlmg is broken tbh last time I play led on testing branch it was a headshot machine but glad for the recoil change as someone who works 50 hours a week and can’t stay on longer enough to get good hoping this recoil change just slightly makes it easier

I also think until they get rid of the stinky stinkies, the LMG with its current recoil will be a refreshing addition to rust and will change the way people fight. I think it needs to stay the way it is until the cheating is sorted out
Also they should do a weaponsmith system, so you can spend resources to refine a weapon. Not just attachments but increase the quality of the gun and work on its recoil pattern, durability, range, fire rate etc….
I’ve been thinking a lot about where rust can go and what would really be cool which would lead into weapon smithing and such would be crafting 2.0 and resource 2.0 like where you can refine resources into higher quality resources that you can use for weapon smithing and other stuff.
Even better than my last suggestion. They should increase the durability of each gun so you can get attached to a gun and have both unique recoil to that specific gun that is procedurally generated when the gun is crafted, plus the recoil degrades as the gun’s durability decreases. I’m not really into hyper-realism but…. It would be more realistic. There are people IRL that shoot rifles etc that know their weapon and are used to their weapon’s quirks.

I’m all for the recoil change keeping the game fresh and grind to learn another recoil and it might combat cheating for awhile
I’ve played since beta, I’ll probably quite if they change recoil it’s in a good place
What would be cool is if every crafted weapon has its own recoil. Like you craft a tompson and it has its own recoil and then you craft another tompson and the recoil is different. But each gun keeps its own recoil. It would make sense for people to repair guns where they like the recoil on it and it would stop the stinky stinkies 👌 as long as recoil was procedurally generated upon being crafted.
