Is that why my 6 electric furnace/industrial setup would be working and then stop completely the next day?
I was using branches and a 4 solar panel setup but just had enough and farmed for the windmill and added a switch to the setup, as long with 3 branches and 2 splitters.

You can do the exact same thing with just one blocker and one branch. Dont even know why you set both branches to 97, just set the branch to 1 and connect it directly to the blocker.

For the people saying “why do this, just connect 2 windmills to one battery” this isn’t just for continuous power… This is a system for backups, essentially if either one of the batteries gets destroyed/disconnected, the system automatically uses the other battery to continue powering your electricals, for example turrets will flicker off then back on again if one of them gets destroyed, it’s a simple system, you can duplicate it to so you can have say… 15 turrets, 2 sam sites, 3 electrical furnaces all on one system. If you’re curious a Youtuber called ‘rust cable guy’ explains this system well.

This is called Root Connection, you are only using the surplus of the root, battery is diverted until you overpass overflow limit

⁠​⁠happened to me last night, if I followed this advice for my base defences; it would all still be standing today. Thanks for the video, this is something I’m going to start using. It is better to be safe than it is to be sorry.
You could even add more and more turbines and solar panels like this using root combiners, So you’ll never have a worry about power generation to keep up with defences and make sure those large batteries are always full. Awesome video.

Why do all this when you could just put the windmills to same battery and have double the recharge amount so it doesnt run out of power?

Can’t u just set the branches to the needs of your circuit if less then 100. Instead of running battery at 100% active usage all the time?

Electricty is so confusing in this….I just wired up 2 sam sites and 3 turrets. Using 1 windmill, and 1 medium battery, I ran low on power. I don’t know wtf I did, but I ended up needing 10 solar panels ontop of it. I know I’m wasting some power, I jsut don’t know what I’m doing wrong.

Curious why my windmill stopped randomly charging my large battery, I’m powering 9 turrets off the large battery and they have been working for over a week now all of a sudden the windmill isn’t charging the battery enough, any idea why?

this doesn’t work the counter only says 95 but 2 turbines are supposed to be 150 each

But what about over night? Does it use it faster than it could charge it? If night uses more than it charges through the day it’ll still run out after enough nights
