Just finished the game, This theme is not present in the game in any form. The closest thing is “Finding the flame” and a remix of the theme with the last boss encounter.

Did they really just scrap this whole song and never finished it?? One of the main reasons I became exited and hyped about this game was this exact track. Come on Square! As good as the final game is, this is outrageous.

Something about this track makes me hope there’s a sequence in the game where you’re just on a battlefield with your squad and there’s a whole war around you and you’re just a soldier in the middle of it trying to rip through enemy lines. Has a really good buildup to feeling like a mercenary/soldier.
