I still can’t for the life of me understand the hate this game receives from long time FF fans. It might not be what you’ve been used to for the past 30 or so years but believe it or not, there was still a good amount of strategy that was required to get far in this game besides the mindless button mashing it’s look down on for. Plus the world, world building, the story, the characters, THE EIKONS?? What’s not Final Fantasy about those things? Opinions are overall subjective, but I feel this game was a step in the right direction
