Ive always said they should make a mature FF game… this is going to epic.

Enjoyed the story of the main opening demo but I was shocked at how much I enjoyed the gameplay of the extra bit after the opening demo. Never played a FF game as I’ve never been one for the anime aesthetic but I’m surprisingly excited about this one.

It should help get me to September/October when everything else seems to be releasing this year

I’m pretty sure Microsoft confirmed FFXVI and FF7 remake trilogy wont come to XBOX.

I honestly had ZERO hype for this since its announcement… One of the trailer (where they showed roaming and exploration made me interested)… And then I played the demo last week… and then I bought the game after it ended and will be playing it starting next week when it launches 😛 hehe… It was really that great! 🙂

The demo’s on another level. I couldn’t put it down. 10/10 story, graphics & gameplay. The story’s emotional and had my draw dropping with the surprising twists. If it continues to be this good, this could very well become my favorite game of all time, better than Witcher & GOW

I can’t believe that the DEMO is better than most full-on games! It was a rollercoaster of emotions and the gameplay was fun and you can tell the story and the gameplay will only GROW as the game progresses!

I can’t WAIT for June 22nd!

The demo completely BROKE me and I LOVED IT! I cannot wait to to get my hands on the full game.

And I still don’t have a PS5, but keep amassing physical games haha. Waiting for GEN2 hardware, i.e., the removable disc drive to 1) increase its lifespan, 2) hoping for better thermals too.

Playing the demo my eyes tear up when I see amazing graphic in a classic medieval castle fantasy FF game. It’s been too long since the last one. I also love they held nothing back to build compelling characters with great conflicts.

The story gives me Attack on Titan vibes

Torgal isn’t a dog it’s a wolf. In the event of the Final Fantasy XVI Pre-Launch Celebration, they corrected those who weren’t sure if Torgal was a dog or not.

GOTY, not tears of the kingdom, sorry y’all it was disappointing and u know it. it was just breath of the wild’s setting all over again, THIS is something new 👍.

After the demo I’m actually shocked how brave, brutal and mature this game is. This is definitely the most ambitious FF yet. Can’t wait for the launch!

The demo was excellent. Beautiful graphics, great story and a world I cant wait to explore but the combat just rubs me the wrong way, nothing to do with it being “action combat”. Excited for the Eikon battles though.

I have played FF since the very first one on NES. This is the least interested I’ve been in a game the entire franchise.

Weirdly I wasn’t hyped at all until I played the demo today. Having also recently dropped more money than I’m comfortable with for the sf6 collectors edition it’s gonna be a hard pass on the collectors edition for ff16 for me, these editions are getting way too expensive.

When did Final Fantasy get so hard? I grew up starting on FF1 and the hardest thing in that was the maze-like dungeons. I guess I’m just too old for these games nowadays…

While i never cared abt representation in games, when i knew the writers in this game literally said they specifically didn’t include black people because it’s not correct historically and because whiteness sells or whatever reason.. it just left such a bad taste and ruined my hype.. i dont even know why i just can’t look at this game anymore but think of that and it disgusts me.. I’m sad 🥲

1 playable char + 1 type of weapon = skip to me, I have not enjoyed sekiro, or the witcher, or even DMC, really enjoyed FF 12 for example, sadly (for me) it has too little of a complex/fully featured RPG title

I just finished the Demo and it was amazing, great combat, great cinematics and amazing soundtrack too, the prologue explaining the main character’s backstory is also amazing legit the complete opposite mood of the start of FF15. Can’t wait to play the full game.

I just played the demo… and ended up buying the deluxe edition. This game is amazing.

Thank god not open world. Open world games are just too much. Example : Zelda. While a great game, has ruined my love for open world. 3 open world maps. Sheesh. Overwhelming. Players probably don’t even explor all of it anyways.

My personal GOTY

It really does seem uninteresting to me. The gameplay is actually the best thing about it which is a big change for FF, but the story has me feeling like they didn’t care and the character sound recording is just flat out bad quality. They tried that in FFXII and I think that’s also the case for the style of the story here. I’m not into it.

I like how its inspired by the god of war reboot. Especially the maps. Open world zones with plenty to do rather than a big open world with empty spaces.

The demo should’ve been released on the weekend not on a monday night/Tuesday morning!!. We practically get 1 weekend to decide wether we buy or not and its no surprise the pre orders are down!!

Haven’t honestly enjoyed an ff since 10…. Hopeful but highly skeptical. We’ll see after we all play the demo tomorrow!
