Game is so peak that (most) of the criticism wasn’t even about the games existing systems, but instead people who wanted a completely different type of game altogether.

I started playing a bunch of action games after this dropped, the whole DMC series, Ninja Gaiden, and looking to get a PC so I can try stuff like God Hand. After doing all that I realized just how crisp and well designed this game is, hotboxes are perfectly tuned, the balance between base moves and cooldowns can make for a very fun flow to fights, and some gear pieces can actually make a huge difference.

I’ve gained a new level of appreciation for this game after trying Lost Soul Asides demo, that games combat is also fun, but the level of polish that went into FFXVI is insane. Hope XVII evolves this combat system, fleshing it out with more unique gear pieces like XVI’s DLC did, and adding more base attacks would perfect it. A gambit system for party members would also be great

this video indeed is also cinema! FF16 was a great game imo! just a shame you need to do NG+ for some trophies, hate when devs add trophies just to bloat gametime!

I loved this game. The story and presentation were amazing, and the boss fights were epic. This is very underrated for sure

I was so unbelievably disappointed with FF16. For a game that I spent 125 hours getting all the trophies I feel like I enjoyed maybe 15 of those hours. The game was so boring. The story was slow and the pacing was horrible. Even the music was forgettable. I honestly couldn’t even hum a single track from the game after spending all that time playing. Absolutely miserable process getting that platinum. I’ll never touch this game ever again. What a bummer.

This game’s soundtrack made me transcend the heavens.

The bahamut fight will always be my favorite in the series. Two biological brothers fighting to calm their older step brother❤❤❤❤❤ this game was a good game, may have not been old school final fantasy but for what it was going for it nailed❤❤

know what my FAVOURITE thing about the FF16 platinum is? if you have beating Ultima as your last trophy, the recording of you getting it that eh ps5 automatically does is punching Ultima in the face. atleast with my one it was timed perfectly to first connection to the 99999 shot. thats by far my favourite platinum, let alone trophy, shot of my whole library lol couldnt have planned it better if i tried lol
though i dunno if all ps5 recording shots are the same though. i hope so, so that everyone gets a plat of punching god in the face.

I personally believe the best trophy hunting videos are the ones that take the time to showcase the game itself as well instead of just listing off all the trophies, and this video is a great example of that. Also the level of editing you maintain throughout the entire video is very impressive. I really enjoyed this, keep up the good work 🙂
