I love your non-nonsense approach to simply capturing gameplay and framerate. <'3 Played through the demo, had some minor cutscene hitches but nothing to talk about. Game is perfectly playable in combat on XSS - solid port so far. But I wonder how the XSS will handle the later taxing fights.

Game like FF16 really needs to be running at 60 or above. I can run Rebirth 60-70 on my pc, but 16 is more demanding somehow lol (rebirth looks better imo) and I had to play it capped at 40.

A 40fps mode for series X and also Series S be ideal
The series S can certaintly handle a 40fps mode, also they should had used DLSS instead of FSR
it should be able to do a 40 fps mode on 1080p low to medium (from the pc preset) with fsr on balanced to quality. (they should switch to fsr 3 instead of 1 tbh)

Im 2 hours in on series s. Yes 30 fps isnt ideal but honestly it runs fairly smooth outside of cutscene hitches. The series s version runs decent for what it is. Especially on my 12 inch mini display.
