Had fun with S7 (unfortunately too little time, and now I have a strong build, the season is over), finally have fun with PoE2 thanks to the Rake Warrior build…
And now S8 looks like more cool stuff to do. Yay!

The problem with D4 is there is literally no replayability at the top end of the game, don’t tell me target farming boss loot with no depth to get to the boss and repeatedly running a pit without any leaderboard competition in game is an endgame, infernal hordes is simply an activity to gain materials like the rest, they need some sort of deep endgame that isn’t super hardcore but enough to keep people playing like Last Epoch 👌🏼

Until most main builds are on roughly same power level i’m not coming back. I had enough of this trying to push content with my favourite builds and being absolutely awful because blizzard is too lazy to buff some specific numbers. BUFF YOUR BUILDS BLIZZARD! Most builds should be S and A tier. NO EXCUSES!!!

This game and the decisions around it started bad and have gotten tremendously worse over each content update / season.
The game is a badly designed, non-engaging cash grab from a studio that cares about nothing and would do everything to rip off their customers even more.

Been a casual Diablo fan in the whole franchise’s existence and im still trying to get to torment level 3 difficulty let alone torment LVL 4 in this season of D4, i hope nothing is locked behind T4 for the solo casual player base, which i think is over 90% of the player base last time i checked, because not alot have that sorta time, fortitude and endurance to hammer it out to T4, definitely excited for Diablo’s future, just be mindful of the statistics blizzard the majority of players ARE casual players, thank you for the explanation Rob much appreciated to hear to goings on, take care until the next one 👍😎

I’m looking forward to the new season. The other ARPG’s aren’t my cup of tea. For me, D4 is the most fun even if it only lasts 3 weeks out of the 3 months.

Sorc and Spiritborn look good this season.

The thing that annoys me, as someone who doesn’t have the ability to play for many hours every day, is locking the season final reward behind multiple, very difficult, Torment 4 acheivements. I really liked and wanted the season 7 raven pet. But I’ve only been able to enter Torment level 4 in the past week.
I know, youtube content creators and blaster players who can play multiple hours daily need a challenge, but their time and money isn’t more valuable than mine simply because they complain non-stop online. Give a regular looking pet as the completion of the second to last season task, and add glowy wings or something to the wings for the people who have time to power through the final Torment iV season tasks is all I’m saying.

OMG this will be absolute disaster. They are puting Lilith and Belial T4 boss kills into Season Journey (which is what literally everyone asked them not to do), and not just that, its directly tied to Seasonal Blessings, so casual players will not even have access to all basic features, let alone season journey rewards.
Dont understand how can they be this tone deaf. Puting aspirational goals to Season Journey is the worst thing they can do and EVERYONE warned them not to do that.
Also buffing Ashava boss power, which was already one of the strongest SB and overall boss power builds?
They also buffed boss materials stacks to 99, but increased material drops, so we might still have less room than before.
Its going to be very bad season…

Played d4 , Last epoch , and poe1 recently and have just ended up uninstalling them all, poe2 is just so much better, the look, the feel, that going to other games feels so bad.

This trailer seems so cheesy. Somehow its made me less hyped than I already was. I was already planning to skip this season other than the lore quest chain. If the quest string is as cheesy as this trailer, I won’t finish it.

I read the blog post so you don’t have to.
There are 4* reliquaries. One free one containing a town portal, mount cosmetics, free platinum, and weapon cosmetics.
There are three premium ones which can be unlocked individually or as a bundle. One contains mounts, mount armors, mount trophies and a pet. Another one contains all weapon skins, and the fourth one contains armor sets for all classes and a second town portal.
*There will be other reliquaries which will be used to unlock cosmetics for the Berserk IP collab and the two year anniversary event.

Unlocking cosmetics in each reliquary** is free so long as you play the game to farm this special currency (favor tokens) to unlock them. After unlocking all the cosmetics in the reliquary, you can farm up to 99 of the favor tokens to be used in future seasons. Instead of farming the free currency to unlock cosmetics; WHALES have the option to out right buy the cosmetics with platinum if they wished. Also the eternal realm can use the reliquary to unlock cosmetics from past seasons.
**Unlocking the cosmetics is free within the reliquary so long as the account has unlocked that reliquary which some of the premium reliquaries are not free.

We will be getting 2 town portals, way more mounts and pet cosmetics than before, but it seems like they no longer include titles, emotes, nor tomb stones in the battle pass anymore. Players have stopped caring about that stuff. When was the last time players got excited about unlocking a title or a tomb stone in a battle pass, or even an emote for a class they don’t play? It seems like quality and choice over quantity going forward. Also once the player unlocks the favor, the get to chose what they want to buy with that favor rather than the linear progression system we had before.

I’m a huge Berserk fan and have close to 20k hours in Diablo 2/3, but don’t think this collaboration is a good idea. Not feeling Blizzard has the talent or passion to properly honor the great Kentaro Miura’s masterpiece. Hopefully I’m wrong!

My “fun” at poe2 0.2 lasted a little bit more than 7 days until it became boring af. Let’s see if D4 will last longer this time. Last season was fun for about 1-2 weeks for me. I didn’t think that I would say that but I’m glad getting to experience D4’s crafting again after having the rng-shitshow in poe2. In D4 I can atleast farm all my stuff myself and feel strong without the need to trade.

Damn, I want to quit this game, but I love Berserk. I have to buy the skin for the Barbarian. Please, don’t let Barbarians be nerfed and weak in Season 8!🙏
