I got to Torment II and realized there is nothing to play for… except to get more powerful items to get to Torment III to do the SAME. I´m not into seasons because for me they are a waste of time. I’d like to see legacy season story lines be thrown into eternal realms. I’m one of those weirdos who like questing in the game, it sucks to me that these storylines are all trash binned as soon as the next season comes out. Right now eternal doesn’t serve any purpose, I don’t care if we don’t get the season powers, but putting previous season stories and events into the eternal realm would give it purpose and add alot to that part of the game.

it was like watching a movie trailer for some kind of action movie, not the dark atmospheric game that it was at the beginning, alas, but with each season the position of this game is getting lower and lower, and it’s good that I switched to poe2, somehow everything is much better there, and from now on I play it (not advertising) diablo gave a lot of time and money for donations, but she disappointed me in the end.🤦‍♂

Idk what to think anymore about this game. I’m replaying diablo 3 with a friend and still feels better. Diablo 4 story was so cool, and that’s it, seasons feel like a lot of noise but nothing is being said

The whole vibe of this season is off.
I dunno, I played a lot of D4, and now I just want the next expansion, I think. Seasons never did it for me as a game/service model.
Maybe put a menu in the eternal realm or whatever you call non-season play where we can select the past seasonal motifs we want, and then just make a character and play. And don’t forget that leveling has to be just as fun/rewarding as endgame activity grinding.

I have no idea what’s happening in this trailer, I even had to double-check to see if it was Diablo.

I think a new season should revamp all the class skill trees and make them more interesting and either scrap or redo the whole paragon system.

So many of these seasonal themes should be in the game permanently in some way. Also gear should be changed. Remove the affixes from Uniques and Legendaries and put them in the skill tree, this would add SO much depth. Revert the gear back to the way it was in D2 by having like +skills + passives + other stats etc.

This company has lost touch not only with their fanbase but with reality. Is like we’re looking at a triple A company make and release indie level work and gameplay trailers. Shameful!

This is definitely not Diablo, right? Wrong vibe, entirely.
Anyway, enhancing and changing how skills work is cool, as is randomizing where the armor powers can be. Problem is, these seasons are about as interesting as D3 seasons were…. and the D3 devs didn’t have Microsoft funding, or micro-transactions. How are actively paid devs only able to produce something that belongs in a game 10-15 years old? Either devs are bad, or someone is shutting down all the better ideas. And unfortunately, none of this will get added to the core game, and they’re going to charge another, what? 50$ for the Paladin expansion?

And adding the microtransactions to the video, especially pointing out that you can get the seasonal stuff immediately, is extremely crass. Hopefully that’s coming from idiot corporate people that apparently have no bloody clue how to keep fans. Maybe this season no one will buy anything for D4, and that MIGHT send the message to stop shoving it in our faces.
Last Epoch and PoE don’t do that, and their both doing fine. Same with Grim Dawn, as well.

Only saw the first 3 seconds of the video, but I am assuming a portal will be opened, demons run into the town while I am facing them with my character.

10 Seconds later Season of Infernal Chaos will appear and the demons that ran into the town will start glowing in that color (assuming purple or red theme).

Then they will say that Infernal Chaos is all around Sanctuary and we have to stop it. Almost all Events will have a Infernal Chaos Mechanic something like “Infernal Chaos Rifts/ Hordes/ or whatever game mode”.

Since the Demons around Sanctuary are full of Infernal Chaos or whatever it is – I as a player will also be able to take control of the Infernal Chaos and become an Infernal Chaos myself (my skills will be stronger or they will add a new skill maybe from older games)? or just make me powerful by giving me more ressources, if not unlimited ressources.

Since it’s chaos I will assume that it’s possible to wear all mythic items on any slot. Like Shako can drop as boots, ring, chest,.. not just “head”
Maybe show a new mount for season award, some transmogs and wings.

And spamming “Infernal Chaos” where they can between the cut scenes.

AS PREDICTED. The massive nerfs to Galvanic Azurite and Static Surge take a good build that still wasn’t even close to a top build, and just destroys it.
Thankfully you’ve ruined any interest I have in playing Diablo 4 for Season 10 and I’ll save a nice chunk of money 💰 by not playing. Although to be fair I’ll probably just spend it on another game.
The fact that you guys will allow Druid or Barb or Spirit or Necro to do TRILLIONS in damage yet will destroy an entire paragon board and your newest unique. Even though those items in no way shape or form allowed using those items to hit that hard is MIND-BOGGLING.
30 mana every 2 seconds on a build that uses HUNDREDS OF MANA EVERY SECOND. Meanwhile you ruin the entire point of your new unique by not rewarding players for specing into ONE ELEMENT making the optimal play to ONCE AGAIN spec into the best of each element. LIKE EVERY SEASON BEFORE.
I’d say I’ll be back for Season 11 but clearly you guys haven’t learned the lesson you said you learned on launch.

I’ve defended D4 in the past and have enjoyed most of the game and some seasons, but I would love for the themes to be more of what your initial mood and tone was. Same with the storyline. Diablo had such a cool lore behind it so it would be a shame (imo) to deviate from that.
