Apologies in advance yet why are we still playing this game!? It’s all over the place and it feels as if the community does not matter to Blizzard what so ever!!!! Battle pass is changed to benefit micro transactions yet gameplay still sucks compared to D3,… I want to love this game yet am so over the empty promises and nerfing mentality (instead of balancing/buffing).

People think a Game like Diablo with a seasonal model is easy to do 😂 Like They want to create new metas every season so you dont just olay one build on every class for each season that would be lame. Only this is very hard to balance with all these mechanics and classes. Then they dont want one build so massivly op that everbody only play the one build and all other classes are out for the season and that in balance with the first thing isnt easy at all. I mean if you can do it better go for it. Not even poe has dommed Diablo from the throne so

If people are enjoying the op gameplay let them enjoy it stop fucking the game. If players have more ways to play with certain builds having their own play style as well as fun what’s the loss? Diablo 3, Diablo 2 you can do insane damage. Take your nerfs and shove them where the sun don’t shine. Having that powerful dealing is why I play Diablo 2 and 3. But not 4 because of this type of garbage. Let your players have fun. Rather than restricting them.

This might be a hot take but I’m all for the nerfs. Why? Constantly buffing the weaker builds just leads to power creep. The game will get easier and easier, then they will have to make new torment levels. Before you know it, there will be 14 torment levels like in d3, 13 of which are useless and you’re still speed farming on the highest tier. Imo, you should never be able to speed farm on T4. Speed farming should be T1, maybe T2 if your build is cracked. T3 should be where the difficulty seems manageable, and T4 should be practically impossible for 90% of builds

Its getting really tiring how they want people to only play certain builds each season, i stopped going for those high rank end game stuff, i rather play the build i have fun with and bottom out between torment 2 and 3 with 2 being so easy that i can play blindly and 3 where everything oneshots me.
I went back to D3 and its just so much more fun, the builds feel a lot more fun and the torment system is so much better.
Its also a lot less standing in town for ages trying to get 1% more dmg on your boots.

Its Diablo i wanna start out weak, grind and make a build thats fun for me and become so op i kill everything before its even on my screen.

The Hunter ultimate is a microcosm of how they need to approach everything else. Being the most used ultimate is/was a concern. There should be more variety. Obviously, nerf Hunter right? No then they all felt like shit. Reverted back and the other ultimates buffed. They need to not nerf so much and instead make other skills and abilities competitive.

They do a PTR and it looks fun and then the week before release lets kill everything so it will be boring as hell as usual. everytime theres a new season i come to check out robs preview video. allmost everytime after checking out what blizzard cooked for a new season i want to stay away from it. this game has the wrong devs assigned to it or the wrong director

funny they promised buff to Vulnerable and Crit to match the power of Overpower they even wanted to put new aspects rather than chaning or buffing old ones to also balance weak builds in synergy with suposed crit and vuln. buff……they had time to think it through and test it add some additional uniques to allow for other skilss to match S tier , now 100 is not easy still you need a reeeealy good gear and only few builds can speedfarm it , in s9 we will get fun killer season it reminds me of ubisoft tech all good that was in division 1 or 2 especialy always killed the fun they want to players to engage in engame longer and have fun with variety of classes and their builds but this way they are going ppl will play it just for season pass rewars and quit season dead not even 1 month in but its jsut my opinon i might be wrong

sounds like overnerf critted this season, i dont have a problem with 150 not being possible but classes only going to 100 with optimal gear is wasting 30 percent of the available range, its like sitting an exam where the best possible grade you can get is a C, in an ideal world id love to see all classes have a couple of builds able to go 140 with near perfect gear

After 2 years and 3k hours I have uninstalled this game because of the confusion of this dev team in diversifying classes.

We started with nearly 1 build per class to take over the higher tier content to 1 build per season.

Barb Lifecycle: Someone finds WW build > Nerf WW > Someone finds bleed build > Nerf bleed > Someone finds Dust Devil build > Nerf Dust Devil > Someone finds Eartquake build > Nerf Earthquake…. Meanwhile none of these builds where Best builds in the game (highest pit wise or speed), they were just fun/reliable builds. I think D4 team is terrified of consistancy, so every time you build sand castle they immediatelly destroy it, so that you don’t repeat it next season

I’ve been a big fan of the series since the first part of Diablo, but as the development progresses, the fourth part is far below everything that came before! For many years, the Diablo player community has suffered from the developers’ activities that ruin the game experience and from the fact that no one is at all interested in the opinions and requests of the players. They already filled the 3rd and 4th part with details that they claim will make it lifelike, but I beg you, shouldn’t a game be more like a game? The 4th part went so far in season 9 that it takes away the possibility of progress from the players. Every class and almost every build is trampled into the mud, instead of making each of them usable, playable, and enjoyable for the players! It’s as if they deliberately wanted to make no one want to play Diablo 4!

I thought in S7 they were trending in a decent direction. The only thing needing adjusting was the loot drops that were just over the top. It was a little ridiculous. The headhunts were at least somewhat interesting with the many side tasks in each zone. I played late into the season and still saw a lot of people in T4. S8 was kind of boring and the boss mechanics were just tedious and unfun. S9 looks much the same, perhaps even worse. I think it will be a short lived season for the vast majority of players. S8 T4 was unusual in that I began to see legion events with no other people and helltides/apparition events with few other people as well. I think Blizzard really killed T4 at least from a participation standpoint. I think the PTR is overly influencing their decisions. They are really only getting feedback from streamers and the 24/7 folks which means casuals have very little input. Nothing I see in S8/S9 changes looks remotely casual friendly.

Dont worry guys, there will be bug that change everything, its D4, there are atleast 3 month of bug fix..

In escalating nightmares after you’ve finished the 3rd dungeon, 2 portals should spawn: the first one stops the escalation and let’s you finish the run by defeating Astaroth, the second sends you to another dungeon and increases the difficulty (pit tier) and the reward output even further. You can continue escalating until you decide to finish the run. There should also be a penalty for not being able to complete the run.

Again the Sorceress? How long can we have one Sorceress all seasons? They know that there are other classes. Out of 9 seasons, only in one was she not in demand

As long as the game doesn’t offer at least a proper endgame, it won’t be installed. But honestly, they’d be best off developing a fifth installment, taking inspiration from the second, and doing it right from the start.

The more the Dev’s try to “fix” builds, the more the builds get “Screwed up” until dedicated players with more brain power find a workaround making the dev’s actually looking quite stupid.

Even more nerfs doesn’t make me feel like playing. I want to have fun and feel powerfull slaying through groups of enemies and this should still happen at pit 100. After that it should go slower slowly and like pit 130-150 should be really tough. They are so scared that there will be something bugged that destroys pit 150. So what? Does it give you anything that other players can’t get? No. I liked the power on S8 more. Also reset after every season is worse. Diablo 3 was better with the Paragon not resetting.

I always play a sorc. Hopefully the Hydra build will be similar fast in mass killing while being better against bosses than lightning spear used to be. In season 8 i didn’t even manage to kill Lilith after the phases have become unskippable :/

Why do these nerfs before the buff core skills?
I don’t really care about dust devils and earthquakes, but they have nerfed core skills for barb and made it all about dust devils and earthquakes. Now the nerf dust devils and earthquakes without making core skills do damage.
They replaced tempering heavy hitter with wallop. So now barb has to play with 2h mace or dw with one mace. How is that good for the game?

I am not seeing anything I want to play in season 9. Instead of buffing other skills/core skills… we have nerfs galore and it looks like even with the nerfs we will be seeing the same builds at the top, just weaker. I am really confused where they are trying to go with the game. They are taking away power while making other things more tedious. I guess I am going to stick with the new season on Diablo 2 Resurrected…

Ever since they first said they were planning on 80% nerf to overpower, I screamed about it to my clan and then within a day, bought Last Epoch. 200 hours in and I don’t regret my decision. What a fantastic game!!
I may also check out POE 1 and adter it releases, POE 2! Really awesome now that I have left the Blizzard cult. Good luck and keep making honest videos about this sad game. I will keep watching. I will be reaching for popcorn long before I reach for the controller.

Explain to me WHO ARE THE PEOPLE in charge of the games at BLIZZARD and how did they get any positions there higher than janitor? They’ve had every action a player WANTS and ASKS for done out of hand for WHOLE SEASONS. It takes SEVEN SEASONS for the player to get what they are asking the developer for. It seemed worse than season 8 will not be, but here we have season 9 in front of our eyes…. And next, apparently, even worse, will be season 10. There, apparently, players will rejoice at the closing of the 100 portal as a holiday of luck and skill.

So i think i understand their strat… Make us weaker so that standard t4 content feels ‘challenging’ . This may be their way of shifting the idea of Pit being the highest end content and rebranding it as ‘everything t4’ is the endgame content. It sucks to get ‘weaker’ but i can see value in making general t4 (nmd, hordes, helltides, kurast) endgame content. The part that worries me with this technique is bossing. T4 bossing is just going to be dogwater.

Killed the game for me. Dev team can’t even respect their own game by allowing each class to be remotely playable in end game. What’s the point in even having classes if certain classes never are able to compete and then when they do have a build that only build gets gutted. No one wants to all play the same thing

I am convinced the current team has absolutely no idea what they are doing. 0 new content and all the changes are the same things used over with different numbers. Balancing is always adjusting numbers up and down, never actually changing how something works.
