Here after ps plus announcement. Never played a diablo before, but have always been interested and thought it looked sick. Excited to start a new grind.

I’m watching this review and am most of the way through and you are giving this game ALOT of positivity which is good to hear because for some reason it is on sale at GameStop for 15.00 and there is only a 1.5 Star rating so I had to check out why but from what I see it looks like a great job they did all around from graphics, story line to performance. I have a PS4 so I suspect that you are playing it on a PS5 ,I hope it won’t make a big difference because thumbs up from what I see and I support your positive grade on them. So why is it on sale for 15 bucks on all platforms and why did it get a 1.5 Star grading?

diablo 4 is ugly, colorless, without any life with a silly story. Diablo immortal is much more fun, even not spending any money on it.

Watching this to try to understand the appeal of the game. As an outsider my perspective of the game is spamming the same abilities. It doesn’t seem fun if I’m being honest but I never tried the game so it’s more of an blind judgment.

Diablo 4 could be a good game but with its constant “connection lost” error its just a pile of crap that forces constant internet connection on single player mode.
It blames everything under the sun other than their own shit for constantly throwing players out from a god damn single player game!

Played Path of Exile 1 solo for about 80 hrs. enjoyed it.

Played PoE 2. Kept dying. Couldn’t find a consistent partner to tag along & I couldn’t enjoy it solo & dropped it.

Recently bought a Tab & found Diablo Immortal & I kinda like it. So I might buy Diablo 4 & hope I enjoy it since I do like what I see & also hope it’s not hard.

About skills. Pick an Aspect and stick with it instead of having different categories. Having a focused Aspect means that your passives with be more effective. Be a master of one, instead of a Jack of all trades.

Iv played since diablo 1 on the ps1. Had diablo 2 on the pc(was my favorite) played alot of 3. Debating on buying 4

Only played 3 was on the shelf bout purchasing for a while, was worried about micro transactions, but you made it sound pretty promising. The game is on sale at my local Walmart rn for 20 bucks and me and my buds bouta cop and run through this whole game just like we did in the old split screen days on the 3rd entry.

This is likely one of my favorite games of all time. You are not kidding about Activision/Blizzard throwing the whole kitchen sink at this game!!!

When i finally got a laptop that could play it I was happy with the looks.
Gameplay selecting stuff is different from 3 and back.
I wanted a box with the game. I old guy i want map and a rubber thing and so.

But i Strongly recommend all you guys DONT MAKE how to do videos!
bLizzard will use them to nerf the game.
after playing World of Warcraft seeing how they have spoiled your char build up work, i strongly suspect they will do same
spoil what you have fine tuned of skills.
Microsoft has bought bLizzard . now bugs in game occur where there were no bugs before. I think MS-programmers are behind that. They dont understand to program.
One bug new to the game was that you had to be lvl 70 to use at platform to change your dragon looks.
They made a way to solve it : go to another continent and get a haircut!!!
totally nuts nothing to do with each other . and prolonged the quest line.
But thats what i fear we can expect here in D4 too.
So dont show bLizzard how and where they should spoil our good work.

You could’ve given a brief overview of the series, explained how you must always be connected to Blizzard’s servers making playing on the go very difficult, and the $70 price tag (not including add-ons or taxes where applicable). The game itself is what you should expect it to be coming from a mega corporation like Activision, which had the budget to come correct out the box. Although the game is good, not great, it is better if not the best in its’ genre. I feel that the expectations attached to such a big name game shouldn’t be glossed over… especially if you’re claiming people should just go out and buy it on its release. This is the first video of yours that I’ve seen, you took a swing and missed here.

2/5 stars for production value, but I can’t help but feel like this video was made by somebody working for Blizzard 😅

I can’t with how desaturated everything is, it’s practically black and white.

Before you buy, Diablo fans pay much for this game, should blizzard just make it without the shop, and make the diablo iv engine generate tons of weapons and items to loot by playing it or on every update, since Shop sell battlepass, and those are just a justified cheats. In my perpective If u are deep pocket, nothing is wrong with it, but if you are a mediocre well those shop are just teasing you around, probably make fun for you, and not you get the fun for it. Does it making the fun less? Well guess it this way, the game it self worth $ 70 as standard game, and the deluxe is more, and the dlc are just going deeper. Making it more a great question why fans should follow spend bucks and bucks to enjoy something already expensive, well not all deep, like myself im mediocre.

Love it. I literally have a character for every class and will switch from one to another to keep it fresh and fun. I love using the druid with a lightning built. Very satisfying and powerful feeling.

Don’t buy it. You can equip more than one weapons but you are extremely limited to one skill bar (6 slots) and one of the slots NEEDS to be saved for your biggest move (class ueltimate skill) ….. mobile apps are better or similar to this game.

Look is like Diablo 3, Music is nice but could be better, worst of all: there is no haptical feedback on PS 5 – Whyyyy ???? The most innovative feature from an innovative company and the don’t use it??? I am walking over ice but I don’t feel that I am on it. An opponent is hitting me but I don’t feel anything. I looked d3 better. Especially on console, using Evade as a button instead of the joystick removed a button which is felt…. I wish I had more moves. Always feels like I’m missing something…

Graphics are better but definitely nothing revolutionary… Old games like dragons dogma still have better effects than any modern game (including all diablo’s and elder scrolls games).

I do like the horses (which take forever to unlock).

Online multi platform is bad ass…. Content glitches and lagging aside after each checkpoint (which gets you killed in some places)

The skill tree is inferior to D3. Looks better but not being able to customize as much a before is a downgrade.

I also don’t like the menus, especially the annoying pop ups in chests and item menus… It’s hard to organize stuff and the new item comparisons are horrible… Very hard to compare items and know which is better… I’ve seen many legendary items which are inferior to rares over n over…. N it applies to all levels…. They aren’t really set in specified ranges all the time..

Played since the original. Finally taking the plunge and buying the PS5 version of Diablo IV.

For me its the non existant party system like in 2 or 3 that lets the game down. Been playing the free trial to get a taste of the game and the campaign seems a long one which seems nice. Graphics setting should let you change res different to desktop.

I finished Diablo 3 first bc of the local game setting. I started off with necromancer and fell in love with it. Then I played Diablo immortal and I have to say it was the worst there was (the necromancer is way too strong and just the gameplay isn’t fun). Finally I started Diablo 2 (which I had bought with the 3 (black friday bundle from 2 years ago)) and I have to say I love it even more due to the balance of the classes (and not the necromancer being like… too strong). I can’t wait for the black friday week to happen so I can buy Diablo 4 at a reasonable price (in my opinion). Thank you so much for this video it makes me want to play it even more.

so everyone KNOWS how bad sorcerers are… on the “STATIC SURGE PARAGON BOARD” the legendary node restored mana when stunning CLOSE ENEMIES… which helped the build a lot because mana consumption and damage output are a serious problem when you are a sorcerer… they literally changed the LEGENDARY NODE FOR THIS PARAGON BOARD TO SOME GARBAGE! AFTER SPENDING 100 MANA YOUR NEXT CAST OF “CHARGED BOLTS” OR “CHAIN LIGHTING” RESTORES 10% MANA! I MADE MY BUILD AROUND THIS MECHANIC! IT WAS THE ONLY THING THAT MADE MY BUILD WORK! I AM ABOUT TO QUIT PLAYING LOL. THEY JUST WANT THE SORCERER TO BE COMPLETE GARBAGE. THE ONLY GOOD SORCER BUILD IS THE “ICE SHARDS” BUILD… THEY MADE SURE OF THAT BY TAKING AWAY THE 1 AND ONLY GOOD LEGENDARY NODE THAT THE SORCERER HAD! THIS SHIT BLOWS MY MIND. I AM ABOUT TO QUIT AND BE DONE WITH THIS GAME. I DONT WANT TO PLAY A “ICE SHARD” SORCERER… BUT THE DEVS WANT THAT TO BE THE ONLY BUILD THAT YOU PLAY! YK .. Diablo IV is GOTY 2 years in a row. All speculation is nill about how they would let this even become a bad game wait till expansion in pre season 2 you will get ripping 500 fps on a pizza hosted chromebook without even needing a GFX just like you need it and then when Friday comes you can stay up for 120 hours straight after you get past the slow parts noobs l2p GOTY

After beating Diablo 3 with all of the DLC, definitely buying this next week. Currently finishing up FFXVI which is absolutely amazing in its own right. I want to try Baldur’s Gate 3 but I’m not a huge fan of turn based RPG’s.

I was so hyped for it but nostalgia for past diablo games quickly gave way to reality and now im ready to put it down and move on to something else till there is more story added

the main problem with this game is that the developers didn’t play this game this game before the launch. So many bugs, unfun and bad mechanisms that player can never overcome with skills such as elite teleport etc.

Camera too damn close. Music is lame. No atmosphere. Repetitive. No character is interesting. Diablo 1 had the town drunk, Cain, actually every person was interesting to listen. Maybe the rule no 1 less is more in some areas and mystery told…. I skip most if not all conversations. Maybe the music should change when you talk to someone, walk in town enter out of the village some war drums like in diablo 1…. Most games nowdays are like… nice…. but they miss the heart of it. Good balance could be great if done well…. Dark horror music out of town and in town sweet lullaby. I doubt there will never be Diablo game like 1&2. They should remake 1&2 and combind them together. Ultimate DIABLO.

I don’t like the online part. The dripping atmosphere got sucked dry when you have to share the world with other players. That’s what i liked in D3. You can team up if you want to. Otherwise the world is all yours.

The fact that I had to pay 70 bucks for the game, then make sure my internet is running, and pay for ps plus in order to play it, this is my last diablo game.

Caveat emptor – this was my most regretted purchase of my entire life, not just in video games.

ps5 user / July 2023 – great try but no go. got to level 12 before skipping and at level 14 it’s unplayable. for the record I have no problems with destiny 2. take it as you will. SO DISAPPOINTED.

I dabbled in Diablo when I was a kid, but I never put enough time into understanding the world or the story. I did very much enjoy kicking monster butt with my friends, though. With no understanding of the lore or really any context, do you think I would be able really get pulled into a 35 hour story? FYI, I’m a huge fan of RDR2 and Hogwarts: Legacy and, although, I do like collecting things in games, I really don’t veer to far from the main story.

I’m a couple of hours into it (act 2) and i’m glad i’m enjoying playing it alone because it’s a ghost town as far as chat rooms are concerned with grouping up and running dungeons. I mean if you can find tons of people on D2 surely you can find people playing a new ps5 game.

It’s not bad I’m enjoying it. I was a huge fan for Diablo 2 played that game for a very long time. Diablo 3 was a let down for me. Lack of tune words still kills this one a tad and it’s still too simple. I would like to see a much larger skill tree but this game is still very good

I started with Diablo 2 on the PC but never really got overly into the game as I had a hard time building characters at the start so I would end up stuck in the second Act where I couldn’t even beat the burning dead in the sewers. The only Diablo game I beat was Diablo 3 and it is the only one I seem to be able to play on Torment level difficulty solo without dying once. Played a bit of Diablo 4 as a Druid (psyched as it was my fav back in 2) but died literally 3 times on the easiest difficulty (I always start easy and then do another run on higher difficulties) to some dungeon bosses, not sure if it was due to limited dodge mechanics, lack of good gear drops or limited potion/recovery skills… (or maybe I just suck? who knows?). Kind of hate the idea of the maps, dungeons, and quests leveling with my character, makes it feel like any progress I make seem kind of pointless. The NPC shops are… expensive, but I love being able to create or customize your own legendary gear so that is a plus, also the resources and gold are easy to get. I also think I still suck at character builds when it comes to this Diablo’s Druid or maybe Druid isn’t the right character I should be soloing as. It is a lot of fun though.

I just bought the game and installed it. I downloaded 80gb to install it. Then, I return to the computer and see it has Diablo 3 on the screen in the menu. So I’m like “what? Diablo 3? I don’t need this, I’m gonna play Diablo 4” – which is when I wish I heard Morgan Freemon’s wisdom but it wasn’t there. So I uninstall Diablo 3. I then click on Diablo 4 as it appears to have finished installing. It did install and it did finish, but for some reason, when I uninstalled Diablo 3, Diablo 4 also got uninstalled. How the heck is that possible? C’mon demons, I paid more than a hundred smackos for this and you are going to use computer logic that says that uninstalling Diablo 3 means that Diablo 4 gets instantly uninstalled without any confirmation? I spotted the poor english in the official Diablo media and that should have been a red flag – seriously – how is this even possible? I’ve used computers since the Vic-20, C64, 286,386,486, pentium, etc, etc and I have never ever had a program uninstall an unrelated program. And then it hit me…I had seen in reviews that Diablo 4 was a recycle of Diablo 3 and other things…and then I wondered…what if Diablo 4 installed Diablo 3 because they reuse the same stuff….so what would have happened if I didn’t own 3? Would I have got Diablo 3 for free? I don’t see why Diablo 4 has to be uninstalled if I uninstall Diablo 3. Yes, this is the support forum now because I say so, because the official support forums have been non-existent since 2009 at the latest.

They are deleting my comments on the Diablo 4 form and youtube channel because the smart ones are deleting my comments so that they don’t enlighten others. Friends, every game that cannot be played without internet is free, you can understand this from other free games. Lost Ark, path of exile 1-2 and more are free games. The games you buy with your money are games that do not need to use the internet. They should open your own local network and online server and enable you to play the games with peers. If they are going to add their own server, they need to add it as the 3rd option to the multiplayer section and no join to their server with the characters and items on your server. That’s right, you have to open a new character on their server and start from scratch. but they sell us the save file not the game, wake up now and don’t let these robbers. Be smart people, not stupid.

At launch, the reviews for this game were either super high or super low. I’m still not sure whether to get it or not. I played maybe an hour of it at a friend’s house and enjoyed it but that didn’t feel like enough time to pass proper judgement.

Been playing sense Diablo 1. And have loved everything about it. Diablo 3 was a good game to get my wife into the series. I love D2 Resurrection. I was so hyped for Immortal. Diablo on the go- hell yes. Sign me up. Then it came out. Yeah, enough said. I like to think that D4 is what Immortal tried to be. But that is just me. All in all, I love the game.

From what I can see, collision and physics are dog shit. Big ass demon jumps over you and your character still stands there like he is in another dimension. No one mentions how good the storyline is, because it isn’t. Might be better than Diablo 3 but a drunk homeless guy in an alleyway could tell you a better one than that.
If you want a top down loot generator, play Path of Exile. No horses, but its free. This one is 70 – 100 bucks depending on how dumb you are. If you’re still rocking older hardware, go buy an i3 13100 and enjoy.
If you still want to play this, go ahead in a year when it falls to 20USD, its real price. Just remember that the ultimate cost is your time, so I implore you – finish the story and don’t grind endlessly for random virtual loot. Youre worth more than that.

It has level scaling enemies. Meaning you will never feel powerful or gain any feeling of advancement. All the areas are the same difficulty no matter your level. So a level 1 character will be fighting the same enemies as lvl 50 and doing the same damage. It feels a bit pointless.

It’s a Diablo game. They never disappoint. The only time you get disappointed by a Diablo game is when you compare it to another Diablo game.

You cannot pause the game. If you happen to have a life outside gaming this is very inconvenient. Also dodge rolling is now one of your core abilities that can only be used once every 5 seconds. Fucking stupid, like yes it makes combat more “tactical” but not really. You just end up running away all the time.
Feels like I’m playing an ARPG from 20 years ago with super choppy combat. This is also a very expensive game. I’m pretty disappointed as a whole.

Constant network errors, unable to login or get put in a que for minutes on end. The game would run far better if you weren’t forced to connect to a shitty server to play the damn game.

Been playing since early access. Game is really fun. Some funky glitches like the tree challenges not adding points after you beat em. Reset the game and it showed I filled up the bar. A few invisible wall. One game crash while I was going into a dungeon from the map. Game is still better than 3 imo.

Since the release of D2, I have been hooked on the Diablo series. I am not a fan of Diablo Immortal. D4 is a great new story of the Diablo series. You almost feel as if Lilith is actually the good guy. (In this case.., the good girl.) Because she wants to end the Eternal Conflict, so those who want to escape the conflict in the world of Sanctuary, can live in peace. But.., she is not to be a hero. She turns out to be every guys ex-psycho girlfriend. She is self-centered, self-serving little brat that will stop at nothing to get what SHE WANTS! Bravo to Blizzard for getting this right! Graphics 5/5, Story 5/5, Gameplay 4/5, Overall Feel 4.5/5

Unless you have friends that actually team up with you once your past level 50 dont buy it, it will be a tedious dull and unrewarding grind. I would have gotten a refund if I could easily.

if the shop only sells cosmetic stuff, no special weapon that is shop exclusive and it is not essential to gameplay to use the shop, by which I mean say a quest requires you to sneak into a enemy base and oh look the shop is selling the skin you need! If both of those parameters are met, idc if they have a shop.

Also, while I understand Diablo 4 is a MMO, I really wish it had an single player mode. I dislike playing with people and rarely play with friends.

I would advise against buying an online only game. You really don’t own anything for $70+ dollars. Blizzard gives you the privilege of play Diablo 4 when you have a internet connection. I also would never buy DLC for an online only game, that’s like spending All kinds of money to up grade a car your only renting. I did not pay $70 for Diablo 4, I paid $70 for nothing. If I go somewhere, where I can’t get online then it’s like I don’t even own Diablo 4.

Here is a straightforward review, and going to be down to earth with this one, as much as I’ve enjoyed all the diablo games in the past. This is one of the most bland and repetitive games I’ve ever played. Completely overhyped, and I struggle to find a reason to even complete the story. The graphics are beautiful, and the story is pretty cool if you can manage to force yourself to push through one of the slowest breadcrumb trailed out storylines. While I played, I just wanted to get to the next area, and rushing through it just to get more story. Completely pointless, waste of time traversing so long from one area to the next. It’s the Blizzard way to keep you playing their game by forcing you down long linear paths, then backtracking over and over again to complete quests and progress.

It’s ok for a point and click adventure “cozy” game. Other than that, the game is pretty boring, with an overpriced RMT cosmetic shop on the side. Oh, and good luck playing with your friends, if you have a job and they are ripping through levels while you’re at work, you’ll never play with them. If you do, they will just run through everything, clearing out dungeons, making you chase them, picking up loot, and showing off how powerful they are, while they power level you so you can easily beat the game when you play alone. Sounds like a blast, right?

You said it best ‘just one more minute, one more town, etc.’ That is my problem with it is it is not a game you can just jump on and play really quick. I start playing then it is four hours later. I play Necromancer and it is cool playing with other necros because it is like we aren’t the same class at all. Everyone I have played with is not the same as me and the customization is badass because we don’t look the same either. A- for me.

I played diablo 3 about 10 years ago because some co workers said to check it out. I fell in love with it for about 3 months then got burnt out. I was actually looking to see if I could re download the game on my new PC or have to rebuy it when i saw diablo 4 came out. Never been too interested in this type of game. Hell, the last game I played that was in this genre was like, Darkstone on PS1 lol. But honestly, this game seems like a breath of fresh air compared to what I’m playing atm. So I’ll give it a try and see if I get obsessed with it like I did with XCOM 2.
