In pubs, he will always get players around his MMR, which is high as shit, meaning a lot of players in his pubs are pros or pub demons like faide, who absolutely are able to give him a run for his money, confidence is okay factor, but the major part is def the fact that when he is ranking up from gold-diamond, nearly all those players are gonna be worse than the average ones he meets in pubs, based just on how high his stats are anyway.

I think adding amps was a dumb idea. If you can’t win with gun skill and smart use of abilities, you shouldn’t win. The overemphasis on helping the casuals is annoying AF. Like, just give everybody blue shields and regular abilities, and make them budget their resources appropriately.

first fight you get into…been playing 5 years this has literally never happened to me. if that was me, after i knock the first guy the other two guys turn and focus me, then if i manage to knock the second guy and drop down into that room i get 2 tapped by a PK, no shot i can reload while dropping and then just walk at a guy at take 0 damage. i just dont get it

The issue with this season tho is if you try to play confident or push teams for KP, with there being so many sqauds late/mid game you get 3rded so often and it just fucks over your entire match.

I attribute my apex noobness to all the server connection errors I get in every game & also not playing much because of that.

When you hit a full mag on someone and 2/3 of your bullets no reg theres a problem.

It much easier to win now because almost every gun is viable. I could win with a charge rifle and an alternator just to prove a point these days.

This game is much easier than it used to be. It’s not hard to be champion anymore. We win all the time even if a teammate quits.

The worst part of carrying is you know if you get knocked its GGs.

This is honestly just a bunch of bullshit. Some people like you have better instincts, reflexes, aim, etc. It comes down to talent. I am a decent player but no matter how much I play or practice I will never be as good as you, aceu, itztimmy, etc. It is what it is. Just like if I took you on a basketball court, no matter what you did you would never be as good as me. I understand there is room for improvement in every player but some things just come down to natural talent

Well, yes. Aim is my problem, and I know it. I had a period of time when I trained in Aim Lab, and I made some improvements there. But I can’t transfer it into the actual game — it feels like two different worlds.
Another thing is recoil control. Even after six years of playing, I’m still not able to control recoil properly in matches. Somehow I can manage it in the firing range, but not in real games. I really don’t understand how you guys do recoil control. Probably some very bad habits that I can’t overcome in the heat of a fight. Also, I only have about one to two hours a day to play, usually after 9 p.m. I’m tired, of course — after the whole day of work, family, and all that. I don’t have eight hours a day to train, fresh in the morning. It’s frustrating. Fuck it. Just rant.

I think a major factor that affects people in aim is getting flustered/things coming at you aggressively. At least for me, I freeze up from time to time and also panic can lead you to make bad decisions. Overcoming the panic makes a world of a difference

Okay aiming is only easy for people who don’t have hand disabilities. No matter how much I practice my aim, it’s not going to get any better. Probably not something you thought about or deal with.

I don’t disagree with what you said, lots of truth to it but I think the major issue at least in Diamond is simply the matchmaking.

If I consider my own skill I do know I am far away from a Pred, but I also know I am clearly far better than just Diamond 4 because I can get it in 1 – 3 days (depending on how early into the season I play) without breaking a sweat…

And that is when you get Diamond, maybe Diamond 3 and have to constantly battle against Master/Pred (Stacks)…

So while you are absolutely right, aim is probably the most important aspect to get good at, its ridiculous just how far you need to push yourself for Masters in Soloq.
And when they changed the whole Jumpmaster thing, I simply quit.

Makes no sense to queue into a lobby just to have one idiot die to team 1, attract team 2, maybe even team 3 while you can be sure that in every direction you go, there could be a whole team waiting/running at you…

And about your 2nd last ring position decision, I think its the right play to play the bottom there.

The house you portaled to is not really a great spot, no space + visible to all enemy teams.
The house to the top has a full team on it + the other enemies can shoot you there as well, risky to take it and makes no sense for the last ring because you are forced to rotate again for the last ring from there.

The bottom part gives coverage towards the top house team while it also allows you to block off the other team rotating into it + coverage against them too.
Otherwise they could take the spot and be sandwiching you in between them and the top house team if you had stayed where your mates are.

Would have played it similar I guess, just without the push, high risk (especially with worse skill than yours) and due to the ring they get forced into the open anyway when we have the superior position and can take them on without much risk.

I’ve soloed to Master around 8 times in the past (not playing anymore), and the thing holding most of my random teammates back wasn’t bad aim but it was bad brain. They would do the dumbest pushes, or not push when they should, have no situational awareness, stay in fights for too long etc.. Aim was never their biggest hurdle.

In saying that, I am so glad you decided to start taking care of yourself. Go to the training range and turn off aim assist put the bots on max speed once you get use to that and start one cliping turn aim assist back on and play normally it will feel way better

Well for me its definetely aim. Since I switched to pc and mnk my aim has never been the same for obvious reasons. And while the other aspects of my game improved a lot overall too my aim is def my weakest point.

Good message sent by the wrong messenger regarding the aim part. Vaaks/lab + real time in apex is the best way to train one’s aim. They’re boring do not mean one should hop into OW, a game with ZERO acceleration, running 76. People with shitty aim will develop even shittier aim if they pick up on bad habits which 90% of them will due to how much harder and more intensive OW is in terms of aim. Also running hela doesnt even help with tracking as youd think. Id rather spend time in wildcard than ow or marvel rivals like you said if I didnt want to hop on the trainer, r5 is also a good alternative yet lacks variety.

I just can’t play Apex anymore, it’s only gull on cheaters and miserable hypocrites on controller (cheaters as well) but after all whole high ttk genrr is made in mind with people who can’t use their hands so giving them software that does something human can’t (aim assist) so you can sell them skins and keep them as players is obviously something comapny wants, I just hate that everything is talired to cants who are afraid of the game…

Just droped my fist 20 bomb with 27 kills 35 knocks and I have about 300 hours. The biggest thing for me when I’m playing solo and want to rank up is that you’re the win factor. You have to use everything you’re given to win use your team as a tool to win fights, bait your own team if needed, and play confidently like he said. I’ve also noticed that when I play my best games, I’m thinking: never stop moving, keep looking for the next fight, the next rotation and it really helps. I mained mixtape for 10 months due to time constraints that came with starting a family.

When I went back to BR, I forgot to loot instead of looting too much, I pushed everything, I kept up with pred tm8s and killed 4k/20 bomb sweat lords.

I may have had to relearn BR mechanics instead of just fighting, but I think focusing so much on BR aspects of the game (looting, rotating etc) held me back a bit. Get back to basics. Learn to fight. Win your 1’s. Then reintegrate the game sense side of things as you go. It was the best thing I ever did.

Wattson im constantly dealing with teammates who are worse than me while fighting 50k kill pred players man… I genuinely dont think there’s anything I can do but suffer from being better than them because of the fact they never push with me, they leave early, or they do 56 damage by round three ring with 5 squads left.
