I took them both out and started grinding those lobbies to get a 20 bomb and a 4K, lol. A few hours later… boom, I got banned. This was back when Solos mode first dropped, and it all happened on the Taiwan server. I’m pretty sure those two players got mad and mass reported me, lol. but whatever i got my account back few weeks after.

i honestly don’t know why EA has such bad customer support. I got banned for cheating when my account was hacked. I didn’t even play that time. I tried messaging them and disputing the ban but they declined even though I showed them proof that I was the owner of the account, it got hacked and the email was changed.

The game devs expect you to understand what is going on .2 seconds after it starts happening and they expect you to leave the game. If you take .3 seconds to leave, you’re banned. Or if you play bo6 like me and have not used hooked up a mic for ANY game in over 2 years and have been comms banned 6 times. Blanket bans are not the answer. Spending some actual money and doing legitimate research on how to combat cheaters IS the answer.

The hack is a bot net. Apex has an exploit that allows accounts to join a known server ID (this is why you keep performance monitor disabled). The bot net is like 20 accounts all controlled by the same person. I believe in this case the hacker killed all the bots so that they’d spectate the hacker, and then the hacker went and died essentially setting the spectator target of all the accounts to the winner, in which they all mass report the champions.

My friends who was really good at Apex got banned for no reason. He plays on xbox so there’s literally no way for him to be hacking or cheating. To this day EA does not care and never unbanned, he lost countless skins and money he put into it
