15 years ago, we would have been amazed at both tbh.

Starfield to me feels like those games you see in ads where you are running down a path building an army or eating bigger fish, or save the king from lava. Then you download it and it’s a bunch of cube mover’s like candy crush. Over hyped and promised. The little snippets from years ago look better.

Why can’t you just render the planets resource saving like nms and then render the players proximity.

I aint exactly liked starfield the best feels like a soulless game to me and i cant really think of any game that feels like that playing anything else

No Man’s Sky actaully lets you land on the planet without a loading time.

Btw technically you can land on a planet in starfield by flying up to it, it just take so ungodly long because only the citys and surroundings are loaded when approaching at a large distance, the rest of the planet is just untouchable texture until you get close enough, so it’s a giant game that’s ruined by the loading screens. If the did a no mans sky it’d be so much better but they pulled the usual Bethesda and didn’t make it so the planet was approachable in a couple seconds with a boostm
