Bought it and was shamed immediately for choosing explorer class… in an exploration game. Animation is hilariously outdated, game ran like a lubed up brick, and the voice acting is terrible. Returned on steam after trying to give it a shot with the 2 hour period. Fuck Bethesda, coming from a person who loved fallout and elder scrolls.

I wouldn’t call the story intriguing whatsoever, the whole thing made no sense, characters had no depth, and they really tried to make new game plus a factor in the actual story of the game, not to mention needing to replay the same incredibly mid story 10+ times and explore 20 boring and identical temples on EACH PLAY TROUGH, just to get the powers max level. If I could rate it negative stars I would😭💀

I am not trying to be mean but really interesting story? That was so unimaginative and the plot was just driven by characters saying you should do this next. In Elder Scrolls games I felt so compelled to do the main story I barely even noticed side content my first few play throughs. There were cool moments and side quests in Starfield but they were far and few between. They had so long to make a great game and they completely dropped the ball for no reason. I just hope future TES and Fallout games get treated better than Bethesda treated Starfield.
