This is my 34th Starfield ship building guide.
Deimos Staryards Inc. built the Hellstrider as a dependable, if unremarkable, freighter. For cycles, it diligently plied the trade routes, a workhorse hauling cargo between established colonies. Its sturdy frame and reliable engines were its defining features, making it a common sight in even the most remote starports. However, the Hellstrider’s reputation shifted drastically after its ill-fated voyage into the Alpha Ternion System.
Charged with a lucrative but perilous hauling mission into uncharted territory, the Hellstrider ventured into the volatile Alpha Ternion. Whispers of strange energy signatures and navigational anomalies plagued the system, making it a haven for pirates and desperate individuals. It was during this run that the Hellstrider vanished, swallowed by the depths of space.
Years passed, and the Hellstrider faded into legend, a cautionary tale whispered amongst freighter captains. Then, rumors began to surface. A heavily modified freighter, bearing a striking resemblance to the lost Deimos vessel, started appearing on the fringes of known space. This ship, dubbed the “Hellstrider” by those who encountered it, was no longer a mere cargo hauler.
Its once-utilitarian hull now bristled with weaponry. Advanced sensor arrays and reinforced shielding replaced cargo bays. The Hellstrider had been reborn as a formidable bounty hunting vessel, rumored to be piloted by a shadowy mercenary figure known only as “Wraith.”
