PROVE ME WRONG BETHESDA 😂
So, basically, they are going to pull the same stunt that Rockstar and Take2 did with RDR2O.
Lure everyone in with the promise of continuing support and DLC, only to throw their hands in the air and say “F**k it, we’re going to redirect all of our money and resources to our cash cow”.
Pathetic. To think I pre-ordered this game…first time ever doing that…just to get bent over and it broke off in me. Not just once mind you, but twice by two AAA game companies.
Not going to lie, I’m kind of pissed. Even through all the hate this game was getting, I told myself “I’m invested in this game now. I have to see it through.” So, I defended it.
Wonderful. Just f**king wonderful.
So much potential. And so much shit talking from Bethesda about supporting Starfield for ten years lol. How About two years first?! Walk before you run. Geez.
Felt abandoned at launch
While I am hopeful that the silence from Bethesda is simply because they have stuff in the works they are not ready to show off until later this year I also would not be surprised if what you say proves to be true. If Bethesda is only paying attention to the negative echo chamber on social media surrounding Starfield it would be easy to see them concluding it has been a less than successful attempt to launch a new IP and to decide to cut their losses and devote more resources to upcoming projects like TES 6. I would consider it a shame if that does prove to be the case because I actually do really enjoy Starfield.
Shit was DOA 💀 .
I think if you gatekeep this engine whenever its fully done that would be like a crime to other creative minds that would love to implement your tools into their ideas of a cool and fun world in their own way, and you can watch your tools create fun and amazing stuff
Breaking promises and ignoring players is not a good way to sell your next project.
good work telling them bro hope they hear you/us
You’re gonna neeed the 5 year anniversary version
They coulda had like a dozen planets like mass effect and just fully fleshed them out but no they added hundreds of worthless empty planets with recycled content simply for pre launch marketing, Bethesda is a slimy greedy company now I have 0 faith for es6. I’m more so looking for forward to the es4 remake.
I quit after 120hrs, gave the dlc a try but after 1.5 hours I got bored and uninstalled it again.
I doubt its abandoned but its not going to get the love Skyrim and other games got.
Old Bethesda is gone.
Stalker 2 > Starfield … sorry
Yeah I wanted to know more about the colony wars and also the side stories were more interesting. I still love playing the game it just needs a few holes fixed and some optimization maybe some faster loading times would be nice.
A good dlc would be going through the unity and finding a universe where the colony war is still going on.
I’d love more than the same handful of repeating POIs ( way to make me not want to engage in the thing you guys used to do best…explore) oh and it would be nice if shattered space actually fucking started/ let me play it.
starfield gameplay is overall ok for me. graphics, etc. still, i don’t like the face-to-face dialogues. idk why most games are doing this kind of npc conversations. anyway, i completed all the cycles to get the final star armor. and repeated couple of times – quick save/reload to get my preferred stats. i actually love the ending visuals and sound of the starfield end credits. it’s like nostalgic, the vastness of the galaxy, stars, etc. but, one thing that made me stop playing is the lack of exploration interest. yes, there are thousand planets, barren, empty, desserted are ok. there are unique mini quest on certain planets. i like the clone government one. the problem is the repeatable mini contents/poi when you encountered one from different planets. exploration is one thing that popularized by bethesda in the openworld games, but they lost it here in starfield. they should had created at least one planet that allow us to explore and a lot of random stuff to discover like from their popular titles – skyrim, oblivion, fallouts, etc.
where are the Mechs???
If I had it my way I love what the modders do, however I believe Bethesda needs better quality control measures to ensure mods don’t cause or games to crash or experience performance issues. This game is in dire need of updates the players want not just updates Bethesda thinks we (the player base) need.
i got excited for a second thinking about the Starborn DLC that will hopefully becoming and then i remembered that the Starborn concept is the LEAST interesting thing to me out of the entire game…. 😭coulda got some more UC/Freestar conflict developments and stuff…Naeva Mora disappeared at the end of the Crimson Fleet storyline, that could’ve been expanded upon…so much stuff but oh well.
i still can’t believe they’re letting Todd’s big “magnum opus space game” fizzle out like this. majorly disappointing. Bethesda is rlly rotting from the inside.
They put out 6 dlcs of varying sizes for fo4 very quickly. True.
With starfield they said (Todd, in interview, & others from the studio) that starfield’s support & dlc cycle will be different. Much longer. 5-10 years if memory serves.
Point? Only 1 dlc so far doesn’t mean they’re not supporting the game as earnestly. It just means they’re running a marathon this time instead of a sprint.
Time will tell I guess.
How the hell is steam the majority? It’s probably not even the majority of the pc audience!
I think Bethesda’s just being true to form keeping their heads down while they’re working.
I have the exact same sentiments as Lone Vault Wanderer. To me, the reception to Shattered Space seemingly has killed any momentum for Starfield. Not because BGS wants to, but because they have to answer to Microsoft, and Microsoft has a market valuation to keep. If they think Starfield is a loser, then they could easily force BGS to drop support.
It just sucks because Starfield is actually my favorite game and it has so much damn potential. It just needs to flesh out a few more of the gameplay mechanics it’s seemingly teasing us with, then give modders 100% support to help them keep this game afloat. It’s part of the reason I try so hard for my ship build videos. At the same time, I’m hopefully just trying to draw new eyes to the game but it’s been so quiet that I’m starting to lose hope.
I heard they’re actually currently developing a new expansion which the trademark has already been found for called Starborn I think we need to wait for a showcase this summer to see more they have never been the type to just talk about everything they’re doing until some type of event I do think some people are also being unnecessarily cruel the game isn’t bad it absolutely could use a few updates but they could do a few more major patches adding features like NPC schedules & underwater exploration & maybe even new POIs would easily make this game an 11 out of 10 in my opinion
What i want to see from Bethesda right now
1 focus on Starfield
2 focus on Elder Scrolls VI
That’s it
It’s disappointing. I’m close to uninstalling SF and going back to Fallout 4. If it wasn’t for community mods I would have already done it. The lack of engagement by BGS makes me more likely to just uninstall it.
I would love to see them add:
1. New full companions/ romance options (with neutral / evil morality);
2. Space flight between planets (even if it’s just hiding loading screens);
3. Space station building, & ‘space walking’ outside our ship;
4. Combat finishers & stealth kill animations;
5. Settlement overhaul (more like the FO4 one); and
6. New pirate factions.
Don’t mind me guys just leaving this here for Bethesda, again.
Bethesda, you made a game that taps into the magic of spaceflight, but removes flight. You were slick during the development and release of SF. I know it, and you know it. You waited right around the time the reviewers were getting their hands on the game to talk about flight. And when we found out there was no atmospheric flight, it bummed us out. Because we don’t want to play SC, ED, or NMS. We want to play Starfield. Now I don’t care if you have to dump half the systems and make the save file double, figure it out. And any SF super defenders out there that want to say bla bla bla, save it. I’m right.
Mechs. The game has them, talks about them, and even had a war with them. But we can’t play with them? Make a builder like there is for ships but for mechs. Make a special docker they can be placed for space and act as a voiced coplilot and extra weapon system, then retrievable on the surface for exploration and combat. Give us a mech war!
Throw some radio stations in there. Not only for music but information and mission triggers.
Kill cams were cool, let’s go ahead and add those too.
I don’t even play melee builds but even I can see melee players need more movesets. Let’s go ahead and tie some of those in with the boost assault pack skill while we’re at it.
Let’s add an optional switch in settings that removes credits and adds lists of resources and components instead. Let’s tie that mining, crafting, shipbuilding a little.
Large cosmic events visible across the galaxy triggering an investigation to cause would be cool.
Moral of the story BGS is you have a cool game on your hands, take care of it and your players. Listen to them. It’s not hate from us, it’s encouragement to progress and do even more. It’s a new IP, let us help you get it right. These are things that need to be done by you and made part of the base game, not mods. Catch a smile out there. o7
I’m at level 587 on my main character account. The only mods I use are weapon and ship stuff. I didn’t even start using mods until after I hit about level 350 or so.
My secondary character is at level 605, and the mods I use for it are the same as the main, but also darkstar mods, outpost mods, and biome/atmosphere mods.
I have thousands of hours into the game, and I’m not worried in the least bit.
I’m a true old school gamer. I’ve been around for the entirety of “gaming” history. From pinball to arcades to owning every game console and system type ever made and sold in the U.S.
People complaining, crying and worrying about updates is crazy to me. 😆 I remember when there were never updates, news on games, leaks, and more. You go to the arcade, and it’s the same games until one day there’s a new one, and everyone is standing in line to try it. 😆
Looking at some of the mods in starfield, people need to worry more about them than worry about the next starfield update…. because, damn. Did ya’ll even try? 😳
The chicken little syndrome is real.
Oh no,a game company hasn’t had any leaks…the sky is falling.
Oh no,a game company hasn’t said anything…the sky is falling.
Oh no,a fame company hasn’t released any news or updates because I feel they should have…the sky is falling.
🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
They’ve never done or said things on anyone else’s schedules ,but their own. It’s always been that way. 😆 🤣 😂
Why is it that people think that companies have to do and say things on an impatient person’s schedule, desire, want, and laughable need?
The moment I finished shattered space I uninstalled it, it’s not immersive
I think you’re right. BGS is done with Starfield. It’s up to the modders now. And if we don’t hear about plans (even something very high level) for a Starfield 2 by the end of 2025, they are most likely done with the title. At least for the foreseeable future.
Honestly playing starfield the game feels so directionless its souless i dont even know what that could do?
They did that before the DLC launched. They hit the basic stuff they said they’d do begrudgingly and now just let it sit.
There could be many different reasons why we don’t hear anything new. 1. They could be hard at work with a DLC, and we who have been fans of Bethesda for a long time, know that they rarely tease anything. They talk when a release is close. 2. They could be hard at work with not only a DLC but a Starfield overhaul, we all know Starfield have potential, but what we got was a very meeh game. 3. Bethesda have decided that they are done, and is now letting modders have free range and use starfield as a sandbox for mods. 4. Anything else…
I still enjoy loading up a save game and do some quests but starfield does not tickle me the same way any of their other games do. I was not on the hype train pre release, i played it becouse i have gamepass that came along with my computer way back in 2023. And for the first few hours my feeling was that starfield was an excellent new Bethesda game. That soon turned into a sort of anticlimactic feeling instead.
hopefully bethesda is learning that we players don’t just want a big bethesda single player game, they need to make it interesting and full of hand craftet content. The concept in starfield is excellent, its just not executed in a good way. Is there still potential? in my opinion yes, this game can turn into a classic, but only if we get resonable prices content, and that the content is good. Starting with adressing the reasons for there to be so many star systems and planets. Give us more factions, and or even alien races to stumple upon, wouldnt that be a great new story line for constellation….
All that’s going on is they are waiting this year to port the game the PS. That will bring the game back. When comparing with their other games they were on PS. Once it’s on PS the overall reviews of the games will turn positive and more people will give the game is respect. I’m almost willing to guarantee this.

I honestly would like them to not make the next Elder Scrolls game, because I’m worried about them ruining the franchise.
Yeah I would not be surprised they abandoned Starfield so quickly especially after their Monumental fuck up with the Fallout 4 Next Gen update. Those morons at Bethesda ruined Fallout for me they ruined Skyrim for me it’s only a matter of time before they ruin Starfield for me, Starfield is the only Bethesda game I still play.
Well, I’ve loved this game, along with the mods. Hundreds of hours invested. Ship, crew, and settlements just the way I want. I do hope we get more DLC story from BGS. The idea it could quietly fade away makes me sad. What I’d really love to see is some passionate indy studio out there create a game LIKE starfield, but 150% dedicated to the Star Wars universe. If that happened, I’d probably never leave my house again. I’d just depend on Grub Hub and unemployment benefits to keep me alive.
Game is trash af just move on to ES6 probably won’t be better though lol.
It would be a shame if they let this game die. As you said, they seem not to be passionate enough about it. The outcome wasn’t as they expected, so they simply dropped it now? And they seem to not care about the loyal fans who still enjoy this game and want to see more content that is not lazy cash-grab-mods.
Or, they’re working on something big and thereofre the radiosilence. One still can dream, right? XD
They promised so much more post launch support than skyrim and fallout, and the game ended up getting less
Tour reading to muc into it. Bethesda has always been an introvert dev studio. As in it doesnt really communicate until there’s a reason. They dont do news updates. No in between, only end results.
Bethesda should really change their communication. Starfield has soo much potential. I even liked Shattered Space. It is like they just not recognize the opportunities their own game has.
i think its good ,they should abandon starfield infavor of ES6 which is what majority wants
They could have added a new Starborn power and temple , and they wouldn’t have gotten a bad review . They got lazy and now they want to blame us for it not being good , they Became woke and that means they can’t take responsibility for their own situation . I still play the game way to much , but it needs more mods to not be something that just pisses me off while playing .
Not shocking at all to hear that they’re already scaling back support. It’s BGS we’re talking about here. Their games have steadily declined in quality since Morrowind because they don’t care. Todd and Emil are awful at their jobs and their egos are way too big to allow them to admit that they’re shit at leading the studio so things that should’ve improved after Oblivion have only gotten worse. I’m genuinely not *trying* to be a debbie downer here, but people need to understand that the things wrong with BGS will take an act from god himself and many years to correct. And they haven’t even begun the process to improve. They almost certainly have learned nothing from Starfield’s problems and ES6 will almost certainly have the same shortcomings.
The issue with judging popularity by steam statistics is that players launching through SFSE (which is probably most PC players) aren’t going to show in those numbers.
I think Bethesda is quiet because they’re working hard on the Starborn DLC.
You didn’t lie lol
I mean yea it sucks they are basically not gonna update this game anymore but on the other hand it will allow mods to thrive more without constant updates but that’s, a double edge sword sadly this game does have potential but the problem I see that everything is way more space compared to like fallout 4. I love this game but for now I’m playing on console once hopefully mods get more and more in the future, and hear me out maybe if there was a mod to like have multiplayer co op for Starfield an link it to like fallout 4 making a co op mod for it to. I know it’s wishful thinking lol
It is laziness. They lost passion? FOH. Bethesda needs to do better thats all there is to it.
I stopped playing the game for 9 months? Then I started back playing a week ago to try out the mods and it’s not bad (I’m Lvl 151 + other accounts). I was excited creating a new outpost with the new buildings. But trying to get to one place to the other can be a drag and buying and transferring resources as well but not too bad. But I do wish this game was better. It does have potential.
It’s really pissing me off how radio silent Bethesda is. I would even prefer getting more Bethesda made creations than this silence and no updates.
Creation Kit is a good game
I wish they had made a alien DLC 👽 🛸also like wild craft
Shattered space shattered Bethesda
What hurt Starfield the most was the way they handled space travel. I knew that the game was going to more like Mass Effect and not a space sim, so I was prepared for the cutscenes and the lack of any seamless space travel to different planets and systems. I tried to warn people of this, but folks didn’t listen. However, I think that Bethesda missed a golden opportunity to have their engine support the ability of players being able to fly to planets and land on them without cutscenes, and also be able to have atmospheric flight. Our companions should be able to fly ships within our fleet and we can send them off to wherever we want to establish outposts on their own.
Starfield was still a great game in my eyes, but the potential of a very special space game was right there in front of them. They went too far being more like Mass Effect instead of cutting down 1,000 planets to about 300-500 planets in order to implement more space travel without cutscenes. If they would have gotten that right, they wouldn’t have gotten as much bad press like they did.
Just let us know, one way the other. If they’re done with Starfield, fine. Just say something…
I’m also a modder who’s working on stuff for Starfield – primarily quest mods and new crewmate stuff. This game has so much potential due to how it’s laid out. There’s a bunch of planets with a ton of free real estate for new locations. You no longer have to worry about compatibility issues unless you place stuff in any of the vanilla locations. The shipbuilder is also really cool, too. There’s some cool tech in Starfield’s CK, even it’s pretty finicky and there are some annoyances. That alone has made me stick with this game even though it’s not in the popular spot right now. I’ll say that Creations is a good idea on paper, but Bethesda & Microsoft have done a terrible job at overseeing it.
I agree that Bethesda has a management problem, and it seems to have gotten worse since Microsoft bought them. Bethesda has always been bad communicating with their players. How they initially responded to the launch of f76 is just one example of that. It’s a similar situation to Valve where they prefer to communicate through major updates and that’s it. That’s only kinda changed since F76, but they haven’t improved much. Some of the interviews with ex-BGS devs kinda paint a picture that BGS blowing up in size and multiple studios have only made their shoddy communication and workflow even worse. I wouldn’t be surprised if we hear news of major layoffs at BGS in the future.
I personally enjoyed Shattered Space but agree with some of the criticisms towards it (The main quest is way too short for what story they were trying to tell, Andreja should’ve had a more integral part in the expansion besides comments and a few new scenes, and the lack of unique items only the player can get was surprising to say the least). I do think that they weren’t expecting the mixed-negative response to the expansion, and it has hopefully woken them up. I don’t think BGS have given up on the game. Them hiring a new lead quest designer for Starfield (Phil Speer) sorta signals to me that they’re actually working on a new expansion and their next update and are just staying silent until they make announcements. I remember when Cyberpunk 2077 was internet’s punching bag before Edgerunners and Phantom Liberty/the 2.0 update. CDPR were similarly very quiet.
I’m still holding out hope that BGS announces something big for Starfield by around March. If they don’t, then I worry there might be something going on BGS and this game.
I ran into serious problem. I literally can’t spend anymore money on the game. I’m at a threshold and can’t load any more mods without breaking the game… so I’m not buying a mod that I can’t load. Their actual threshold is nowhere near 100gb and 4000 mods…. the game dies at 20gb. I’ve run 400 fine (mostly just a few kb each and all the dang patches), but can’t get anywhere near that with the visual stuff loaded. I love Zone79’s stuff, but it’s literally killing the game. I’m not going to be able to load it. (Xbox Series X). Paid mods can’t succeed if you can’t load the darn things.
Right away I could spot the design corner cutting especially in the characters and that told me they were trying to pull a scam on the buyers.Having said that a LOT of successful games are scamming consumers with half assed game designs it is a real problem especially with early access becoming a good con job.I saw no potential in Starfield everything I saw was corner cutting so I id not consider buying it.
That is the thing with modern days we can go to twitch and watch someone play a game becuase they are given free copies to promote games often before the game comes out.
Didn’t Todd say something about 10 year support at launch? I could be wrong.
Starfield’s only chance is a PS5 release with an expansive update that makes it feel like a re-release.
Ok. So I see you keep on popping on my notifications. So I gotta bite. Mods I’d want, Expanding on melee weapon animations, expanding the criminal underworld. Why is your only choice being apart of the crimson fleet?.. Um can we finally get energy bows Bethesda?? I’m tired of jetpacks, can I get rockets on the feet or something? So we just gonna leave out the fact this is the future and we don’t have no sort of body modification mechanics or even cybernetic enhancements. Why can’t we splice our DNA with an animal? Why are w just one race Bethesda…
This is the same approach the developers of no man’s sky took against the continuous backlash they received at launch. They still keep updates under wraps until the time comes to drop it. Personally, im just going to let them work. They definitely arent going to abandon this game. They havent done that for any of their other titles, including 76, and look at it now. Theres a timeline and budget they have to maintain. They wont rush any updates just because players get impatient.
You know what I’d love to see in mods from you, some new old earth weapons, like FN Scar H and Scar L, maybe even functional under barrel grenade launcher, maybe a minigun mod for Microgun to look like an original old earth version, also maybe add a functional under barrel launcher for M4a1, just giving you some ideas of what I’d like in new mods from you, Thanks
Theres a skeleton crew working on the second dlc, the rest is on es6. Nobody’s on fo4, which sucks because the recent update on consoles broke mod functionality.
mods that are made by fans/modders still have heart, where as paid mods seem souless imo Thanx dude, for ur efforts🤙
Skyrim BGS was silent until an update or DLC. Same for FO4 and its franchise, this is simply how BGS operates. Expect to hear from them when there is something to hear about.
Yes I look at the player numbers egveryday too and try to see if there is a bleep from BGS. I see nothing and even speculation is dead. I don’t know if I should have hope anymore. It’s not like how I felt with 2077 waiting for an update, I atleast knew they were working on something. Ugh.
Ya, I think they’re done and I think I’m done with them. If their games are on Game Pass on PC I’ll get them for free on my subscription cause they aren’t supporting it. They hyped it so hard and just let it go. Mods aren’t getting released and they haven’t come out with any of the videos and it’s truly hurtful. Ever since CD Prokekt Red did what they did on release I won’t buy games on release cause you can’t trust developers now.
Your mods (and dietys SW conversion project) are the only reason i even remember Starfield exists. All the BS behind the paid mods, lack of enjoyable story content have killed any other interest. The fact that modders can push out mods that make massive impacts on playing the game and BGS (with its hundreds of staff) can’t bother to push anything that isn’t meant to be heavily monetized while being smaller in scope then a single modder, is insane.
I LOVE STARFIELD BUT YOU RIGHT
If they’re doing a Playstation port they ‘may’ drop another DLC after that launches. But Shattered Space being a flash in the pan that fizzled after a week isn’t going to encourage them to do more. They’ll probably just be content with kickbacks from ‘Creations’.
“All Fallout DLCs were out in a year”
Starfield isn’t Waterfall dev, its Agile. They’ve got a 5 year delivery schedule and a 10 year product lifecycle. Its not going anywhere. Less so when ES6, and the next Fallout are going to follow the same process and framework designed to funnel users into the Creations revenue stream for their product lifecycle windows. I argued for a Waterfall base product and Agile post-delivery in the past, but as CP2077 showed, Waterfall isn’t always the best approach either. They ended up fixing their whole product with the move to Agile.
That’s not to say SF is perfect by any stretch, it needs a lot of refinement which is why they did it in Agile in the first place. With it being the first game in the new engine it was always going to have the largest uphill climb which will make ES and FO a bit more straight forward, but going to take the most time. I think the biggest issue SF has outside of folks simply not understanding the product (which isn’t exactly the fault of the user) is BGS not speaking to their products which again, isn’t exactly new.
I’ve never been worried about Starfields future nor am i currently, but you’re right that they’ve got some management issues. Had MS not have saddled BGS with their own product management teams and new sets of requirements i think we’d be looking at a much different product right now, but BGS spent the last year digging themselves out of a bug/stability hole they launched with. I don’t fault devs with that, that’s more on the Prodman side of things, but they gotta pick up the pace. If Shattered Space (which MS had BGS split off from base as a premium package deal sweetener) coming out gave us the intended base game product and first act of the story, i’d hope the story drops are more meaningful and carries with it heavier refinements than what we’ve seen thus far.
Going on 3 months no updates. This is not really abnormal for them but not sure since now under MS so difficult to say. But MOD support is ok considering things so really this seems like it’s either they are moving on or they are doing a major rework like was done with Cyberpunk 2077 which was virtually rebuilt.
I’m pretty sure they didn’t have the passion to continue this game from the start. I believe they expected the mod community to pick up the slack so they could just wash their hands of the game, which is sad as hell. When I compare Bethesda to a developer like Hello Games, and what they have done with No Man Sky, you can tell that the developers at Hello Games loved that game and wanted to do right by the players and fans. I will speak with my wallet and avoid ES6 when it drops in a year or two. Whose to say they won’t do the same with that as well. They have squandered their player base’s good graces with their last couple of games. Such a waste.
Yeah, I personally didn’t like starfield, but I wanted to get back into the modding scene, but after seeing that no one really wanted to make mods for the game I decided not to.
Bethesda drove a lot of the players that stuck around away with Shattered Space, so I honestly doubt they’ll make another DLC. Bethesda knows the player base isn’t there to justify taking time and resources from ES6. It sucks because I love Starfield. It’s disappointing that creations are such a fucking mess man. So much wasted potential.
4:35 😂 🤣whats this guy waffling for! Conflating 6 week updates with big massive dlcs every 6 weeks – talk about false equivocation – cap that delulu
I’m hungry for content.
I was championing hard for Starfield until they essentially killed the Nexus modding scene in favor of paid mods on Creations. Don’t get me wrong, there are some amazing quality paid mods out there, but there are soooo many half-assed cash grab paid mods or mods that are intentionally split into several parts just so the mod will author can charge $5 per mod. They have fractured the Starfield modding community beyond repair. Nexus is the enemy of Creations and thankfully Skyrim and Fallout were able to evade Bethesda’s greed and their Nexus pages are still thriving. But Starfield had no chance.
Also, love your mods!!
I still enjoy it, but BGS is floundering. I had big hopes for the dlc, but Sharted Space hit like they fluffed up cut content from launch. I’ve only run it twice since it dropped. The more recent thing with essentially paying for a previously free mod just to have it achievement friendly is dumb as hell. I have a vanilla character for that and it’s not as much fun, but it’s doable.
lol crazy, if you think they come out with another DLC will it be impressive or middling?
I think they’re working on the PS4 port, hence the silence. Who knows what happens after that.
Unfortunately this is what Bethesda does, for the most part it’s good, (except for fallout)
The truth is Bethesda not continuously updating their games is a phenomenal thing, Bethesda isn’t exactly known for improving their games, they run on a 2 steps forward 8 steps back logic when it comes to updates, they break more than they fix, count your blessings they’re focusing on TES6,
Skyrim, Skyrim went nearly 10 years between updates, 10 years of virtually zero issues, then they came in with their update, that game is broken beyond belief now
Fallout 4, they broke it with the CC update, then abandoned it for 8 years only to come back and absolutely nuke it with the “next gen” update then abandoned it again
So… pray they do the same with starfield and abandon it for TES6
D510 thanks for this video. Agreed with the DLC right. I hope this get doesn’t get abandoned. I’m hoping BGS is quiet for something big.
Mr Marty and lone vault I stopped watching them long time ago.
I still stand by that this game should have had like 3 star systems max (or even just one). It’s such a massive game that feels so empty. It somehow has double the voice lines of Fallout 4 but feels half the size.
I feel it dude. Cuz your mods brought me back to the game.
They said they would be supporting this game for 10 years about six months before it came out. If they do just blow this game off its a real shame. You can’t even go underwater in it yet. They have mech’s everywhere but none you can get in and use. This could be such a good game with two or three big dlc’s. Shame😳
I agree with @forwardghost, so much potential. My biggest gripe is there are so good many mods out there, but I’ve had to completely abandon Outposts and most clothes/weapons because the Mods don’t seem to play well with each other. Why is this a Major Bitch, because every Mods was obtained through the Creation Kit and this reflects poorly on Bethesda’s QA. If I get over 222 mods (yes, I’ve had to count), the game crashes. Also, I think there is a major problem with Creations as I’ll Log on in the morning and there are 30 mods that have updates. OK, I update. Then at lunch time those same 30 Mods are listed as having an update. I could accept this maybe once a week, but NOT Every Freeking Day!
Yall modders doing good but not getting any help from the studio. If they could just flesh out some mechanics like ships, settlements, combat, factions, pois this game would be lit right now but🤷.
3:15 nah, I’ve noticed mods have really slowed down and especially on creations, like you keep showing cool mods like the coin push and the back rooms, but we don’t get that on creations. That’s only Nexus, so it’s been even more stale. On console or cloud play, and then what does come out is a paid? Mod, that’s usually not worth it and game breaking.Lookin at you falkland and shame
9:48 I feel u bruh that’s why I stopped playing because even if these dope mods are released I don’t even have motivation to play the game because there’s nothing really new from the devs
Mech dlc would have been awesome because that varuun dlc left me with more questions than answers and I just wanted them to go in a eldric space horror direction for the great serpent or introduce some kind of intelligent alien race to the game. I think Bethesda is riding off the coat tails of modders and you guys hard work. But it would be nice for them to add a 4 seater option to the Rev 8 and Mechs to the game especially with the lore with the freestar faction. And make terrormorph hunt missions like the first time you fight one with the scanner that added suspense when it’s getting close to you with the beeping sound like tremors.
I think this was their plan off-the-bat tbh…
…Ever since Bethesda started pushing for a Paid Mods system, and with all the empty planets, I see that they wanted to make it into it’s own self-sustaining ecosystem supported by the community?
Bethesda is too hands off with Starfield (I WOULD LOVE a higher mod limit than 5GB on Xbox for Skyrim Special Edition or F4 tho, just sayin’ 😭🙏)
They set the game in the wrong time: If they had it set DURING the Colony Wars and actually had you discover these planets, it could have been so much more fun. I mean, frankly the NASApunk thing kind of turns me off, but I can deal with it, but the dealbreaker is everything is already discovered. The wars are over. What’s the point of the game?
Bethesda is silent about any future content/updates, and modding is stagnating without a proper Houdini plugin for the CK for new animations and editing planet data.
It’s not looking very promising rn
It’s sad, because Todd said in a recent interview that one thing he regretted was not supporting Skyrim and Fallout 4 with updates and new content for a longer period of time. That made me hope they would support Starfield for years to come. That was a fake cheap lie to ilude us. “New updates every 4 weeks!”. They simply dropped support for the game without saying a word about it. I pre-ordered Starfield, I’m never pre-ordering another Bethesda game in my life time. That bounty hunting Creation Content proves it. They released 2, made us think there would be more. It was nice content lore-wise, they could release a series of them. But no. They killed it and went silent. No updates for more than 4 months. Liars.
Still loving the game with mods but if you don’t like outposts building & ships then it would be 😴 it’s a dope game but when you said 2 years and one DLC it did seem like that’s the reason. Fallout 4 type DLC let’s see them standing behind the new I.P with Dev time❤ ohh and no more bounty quests yet? Come on
SOOOOOOO much potential in this game. LIMITLESS.
So many planets to do something on.
Create communities on planets like you can on FO4. Like damn.
While Bugthesda/Bruhthesda has abandoned the game, keep it alive for us DeShawn. Keep up the weapons and armors. And in the spirit of giving you ideas, since you made the Elysium AK, how about tackling the ChemRail from that movie or the ones from Oblivion?
I wish I had the skills to mod this game.
BGS has always been secretive. They don’t really have communication skills with the community. It was like this long before Starfield.
Better not be, need some updates and at least two more DLCs. Modders are making this game better, but still need more.
