The 6700 xt and 6750 xt are cards meant for entry 1440p, they can easily manage. 60-80/90 fps on ultra even on the most demanding titles. I have a 6750 xt and i get on average 70-85 fps in cyberpunk 2077 1440p ultra

(⚠️‼️‼️ RANT ALLERT ‼️‼️⚠️) Yo Zach, big fan of ur vids, been with you for about 8 months – 1 year. I’m in 8th grade and I got a prebuilt for my birthday intended to run 1080p high – ultra featuring a and athalon 3000g with a Radeon rx 580 6gb along with 8gb of DDR3 ram and a 512 Gb slow as hell SSD, as you can imagine this did not work to well for me for the intended purpose and i could barley download half the games I wanted and couldn’t play Fortnite, valorant, Minecraft, or apex. I bought this as a prebuilt from a company called stgaubron which sells budget builds like this and the only thing quality they sell is the case and RGB, they had absolutely no warranty and this became a waste of 480 dollars. Later I sold it on Jawa for 250 dollars and had to throw in a keyboard and mouse to close the deal. I then after working my summer job and doing some work for relatives I ended up being able to afford a cyberpower prebuilt at cosco for 900 dollars with I i5 14400F and a 4060 ti with 32 Gb of DDR5 and a 2tb gen 4 Nvme, the case was also high quality with a phantexts case which I can’t recall the name of but its fish tank and dual chambered. This crushed all games in 1080p and for an experiment I borrowed a friends monitor which was 1440p and it was amazing, the graphic fidelity and pixels were amazing and I was having a blast on Fortnite with ray tracing on high settings. Since I bought that athalon build I read up on pcs and learned a lot, I also have new games I play like heavily shaded minecraft on servers and max setting Fortnite with raytracing, I’ve noticed a bottleneck on my i5 and after watching your vids on the 14 and 13 gen processors I’ve decided to either switch to amd or get a high end 200 – 230 dollar 12 gen processor like a i7 12700k or even a i9 12900kf, the main thing I want though is decent performance, overclocking, and integrated graphics for selling my gpu in the future and needing something to hold me off. Hey zach i have found a dell optiplex 9020 sff bundled with monitor, mouse, and keyboard(97$) and have found a sapphire rx 6400 low profile(119$) and a 3$ wifi usb. Is this a good deal. 228 dollars total. It is all on walmart website which i know isn’t the best website to shop for pc parts but i haven’t found better deals on other websites.

i have a ryzen 7 7700x cpu paired with a radeon 7600 is that a good combo or should i have gone with a higher gpu. i only got the 7 7700x bc it was a combo deal with microcenter so i got a mobo and 32gb ddr5 ram.

Who cares about generations when its about the CPU? Just bought the Ryzen 7 5700x3d (coming from a R5 3600) together with a RX 7800 XT and i get >100 FPS in any game in WQHD. GPU makes the difference here.

I build the sam build with some changes the performance is 16gb of ddr4 ram i512400f xfx 6700 xt 1tb nvme storage
For around 500 the 6700 xt i got used for 170

The 1080 is still a competent 1080p card, although it definitely falls behind on some more graphics intensive games and can probably only manage like medium to high even on well optimized ones.

Me personally, I think anything above 650-750$ should be able to play 1440p 100 FPS, (If you use AMD, And willing to buy used, it’s possible). Anything under should be 1080p. LMK if I’m wrong here Zach!

Edit : People think I’m delusional but it’s really possible. The RX 6600 XT, Paired with a R5 5600X is a GREAT 1080p-1440p build, better yet, it’s almost below 650$, If you buy used, it’s really possible. The 5600x on aliexpress cost around 75$ (not sure if it’s a trimmed down version), but it’s a great deal!
