Why No Man’s Sky Is Better Than Starfield #nomanssky #starfield
No Man’s Sky had a similar launch to Starfield in that it didn’t meet everyone’s expectations, but the developers have since realised their initial vision by creating seamless travel between planets, solar systems, and galaxies, making it arguably the best game for space exploration.

Starfield is crap but stop hyping this game to be so good cuz it’s not full of bugs since release and they haven’t fix any of them
being able to discover actually unique stuff and share coordinates with people is so wild. it’s gonna be a while before any game has exploration as interesting as no man’s sky, ship, multitool, and planet hunting is so fun
To be fair the original trailers for no mans sky still have yet to be implemented only just starting to get there with worlds. That’s very poor marketing and communication. Starfield has a lot to learn from no mans sky in terms of traversing space and base building but overall starfield is still an ambitious game with lots of cool stories and great gunplay. If each game took the best parts from one another and combined it would be amazing lol. I also hope worlds part 2 brings us closer to the original vision of no mans sky that we never got and I’ve followed this game since 2013 and played since original launch
Meanwhile, Star Citizen: 🧑🚀🛸🚀🛰️🌠🪐🌞
It’s ironic as hell that in 2024, No Man’s Sky is being used as the COUNTERPOINT in a “Don’t oversell your game” video.
Well Starfield isn’t a simulator. Its built different. its an RPG. its closer to Mass Effect than it is to NMS.
You cant travel from system to system or galaxy to galaxy without a loading screen though
Also travelling gets old very quick since there’s 1 biome per planet you’re basically jumping (=loading screen) all the time if you’re looking for inventory slots, resources or ships/multi tools.
I actually think it’s great that these similarly themed games focus on giving the player different types of experiences.
We could equally easily compare Starfield’s environmental complexity, depth of npc interactions & story telling, & of course it’s ship building, to nms, which trails far behind in those aspects.
But by doing so we’d be missing the point!
Starfield sucks…
Honestly i was surprised starfeild couldn’t match nms in that regard. The amount of cash bethesda have.
no mans sky has vr too for pc right?
