These aren’t epic.

Number 10 is just a random Class A build ship. Starter ship parts.

What is an “epic” build?

It is three parts. One, the thing has to have over 5k of cargo space. Which is doable as you level progress and access better ship parts. Two, it does need to have an impressive look and weapons set. Three, when you travel inside it, it should have all the key production and living spaces for the crew while also not being a rat maze to transverse just to get to the bridge.

You do all three and keep the speed at 150 above and have good maneuverability, then you have an “epic” build. A ship you can definitely be proud of.

Lol! I wouldn’t take the Normandy / Tempest into actual battle! Its not designed for it. Stealth ships can’t fight without scifi techno-voodoo 😃 – That Atlanta Frigate, now thats a fighting ship! 👍👏

This game may be boring and extremely bland but the ship building is dope. Easily it’s only real good redeeming quality.

Ship building is the real engame.

How do you make ships of the immense size of the Atlanta-Class Strategic, anytime I try to make a ship even remotely big the game wont accept it because its too long or too tall? What is the actual limitation? To put in to context I can only make Class A & B ships right now, does this size limitation change based on your piloting ship class skill unlocks?

If these are the ship builds folks are making then re-creating the Deadalus-class battlecruiser from Stargate SG-1 shouldn’t be a problem.

All builds great. Hats off ship builders. I loved the ship that looked like a resting , or squatting mech nb 2 I think. My favourite was the creative batwing nb 5. Take a round of applause sir, stalwart wawwiors all.

omg that atlanta class is georgeous i want to ask because i am not have the game but so far there is a limit in terms of ship sizes that a player can built?? i mean eventually all people in the game will try to manage resources missions or so ! and build even bigger ships and also i had to add that i guess that eventually the players would get in the game new models of ship parts to modernize thir actually in use

is their a sandbox mode so you just build your ships for free or do you have to buy certain items ?

Between the Normandy and the music (Rannoch). I felt like i was back in 2011.

I’ll comment about them, due their design (only) – not their specs…

Normandy: Inderesting design, looks so alike with US Space Shuttle Columbia.
Spectre Battleship: A bit strange design, looks like bug.
Mig 0918: Very interesting design, but the tail horizontal wing is… totally useless. The engines will burn this, after one trip!
New Concept Jump Ship: Great design!
Razor Leaf: Very bad design!
Batwing: I never like ships to have shapes of something else (a bat), but it’s quite inderesting design.
Scorpio: Totaly silly tail! Again,… why to design a ship in a shape of an… animal or something else?
Big-M: Great ship. Good design.
Imperial Glory: Probably THE WORST design of all this list’s ships!
Atlanta: VERY good design.

Is it just me or are particle weapons OP af on ships? They do major damage to both shields and hull and also destroy systems fastest and have the highest crit damage of any other weapon type outside of EM

If you spec into them and strap 4 class C on you can just use targeting mode as a Max Payne dodge. Combine that w/ cheesing targeting mode for instant 180° degree turns and you can solo capital ships at low level

The sheer presence of that last ship causes all your enemies to crash along with your PC.😂

That last one with the persons name gave me starcraft battle cruser vibes. I can hear some Russian guy now, Battle Cruiser operational lol.

Dude, I know people have conflicting feels on the game. But this ship building is so freaking awesome. I’m completely addicted.

i can make beautiful ships with mods too …. but i want to submit my 3 cool ship without mods too ehhe…

that decision that you should land this ridiculous thing really wrong. more realistic, that we could dock that ships to orbit station and land using other type of shuttle proposed by game.

that physics looks dumb, all ships regardless of size looks like weightless piece of foam. no feelings that it’s really huge and heavy ship

Keep the modded stuff in a separate top teb. They violate the rules of fair play otherwise.

1. It’s not a simulation.
2. Our ships constantly land ob planet’s with high G’s and a thick atmosphere so yes, THAT SHIT MATTERS!
