What a nitpick 😅 yeah no sh*t the game isn’t that fun when you just mount up and speedrun past all the content, to see how fast you can traverse the map 🤦

Skips all the actual content to point out that this game isn’t in fact a marathon run simulator?

Going out of their way to not have fun and then complaining about not having fun with it? 😅 Good stuff “Culture Crave” 🤡

Why does nobody talk about Dragon Age 4. I am holding on hope.

I’m ok with 5 planets. I’m honestly so sick of getting into a game and seeing that the world map is about to take 2 years of my life to get through.

Pre ordered it for PS5. I hope it is small and focused not an gigantic open world filled with filler and grind. Fingers crossed

Some games life off of large scales. Flight Simulator prominently. Also Star Citizen. But there traversal is the fun activity. Not running on foot like a dork in Starfield.

5 minutes of in game fast travelling would feel like eternity, I could run across Elden ring later map in 5 minutes almost on yak back, what are we talking about here

I loved Starfield at 1st, but now i get the point people were making then as far as c9ntent & the world within it…I played Cyberpunk 2077/Phantom Liberty after Starfield & Night City was so much more alive…Im transitioning from being more of a sports gamer into an open world/rpg type of gamer. Now i pay alot more attention to detail, the environment, & listening to other people’s conversations in the world around me….I felt like i was living in night city. 1 of the best features is just being able to zoom in on everything around u without having to use ur gun to zoom in

Olay …..so what im getting is ignore these new space games …….ill just keep playing no mans sky

this so true its quality over quantity starfield did miss the mark

    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

Just saying, Star citizen has big open WORLDS and just chilling planet side taking a stroll, driving a vehicle, or flying around is so nice cause just how pretty the planets are, and maybe you find a cave with some exploration to it, maybe you find a crashed ship, maybe you stumble into a outpost….. Starfield had boring planets with nothing on them….

Here’s hoping Star wars has fun planets with content in them, but mostly fun planets, like even the original Star Wars mmo had an empty desert but it was fun to go around and just be Star Wars inside of.

    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

Outer Worlds had pretty small planets and look at the review scores for that game. They are incredibly positive and even though there seems to be a growing negative outlook on that game online, the user scores and critic scores are awesome for it! I personally loved it and didn’t care that it was on the smaller side

    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

5 minutes just driving or riding is a lot, if we have to spend a minute going from one place to another, we start complaining it’s taking to long

    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

I agree, I think the most important thing for outlaws is narrative. If it’s bloated do this to get to this mission it’s automatically gonna be a fucking chore. I really hope this isn’t like that. I really hope players have a choice and aren’t obligated to do filler bs just to be able to play a mission.

    • @TheBoomer69
    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

Bro but dragons dogma had a big empty ass open world with Jack shit to do and you praised it?

Bro star wars survival this games gonna be trash

    • @thegamingtruckdriver

    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

That’s still pretty big if the speeder is fast, ghost recon wildlands has one of the largest open world maps ever made and you can cross the widest point in less than 10 mins in a helicopter. People are just clowning on things they don’t understand as usual

    • @henryaung7229
    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

Every Yakuza game takes place in a small city block that you could run from one end to the other in 2 mins. But that block has more content than all of Starfield

    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

As a person who actually enjoyed Starfield, I really wish they’d chosen to only do a few densely populated planets and interesting instead

    • @arthurgoonie4596
    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

Yea tbh this is what made the outerworlds not bad

GTA IV took forever to drive across which caused your friends to get mad when you didn’t show up in time.

    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

I mean… Star wars Fallen order and Jedi survivors had maps about that size, but on foot, so that means these maps are bigger than those maps. and those games were very sucessful. not sure what the issue is. People should also probably ask how much verticality is there too X)

    • @aeromorte
    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

“They are probably the same people” – oh how i hate this argument. And how many people us it. You dont like this? You are the same people who like the other thing. What a joke of bad argument. Its like saying “Im not gonna say anything about that because I dont want to but I want to sound smart”

    • @KartikPatil-uy6ub
    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

Jedi Survivor is also the best example in Star Wars game franchise. Barely 4 planets to visit (counting Shattered Star), and they were packed with unique places and full of loot and enemies you meet while exploring.

    • @arishybrid545
    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

See girls, it not about the size, it’s about quality

    • @Redwood_redrock
    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

The only thing that we should talk about is the price and the pay for play they continue to do. Maybe tell people DONT BUY THE GAME to maybe help wrangle the pricing…..but yeah I guess you can ride a speeder…

    • @LordWiseWolf
    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

I think it’s quality and density. If content A and B are killer, but it takes 10 mins to walk from A to B then it’s just going to drag.

    • @Jace1038
    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

I think there can be an in between of 4 planets in a space game and 1000 planets with nothing on them tbh

    • @Ungwolop-bh3qe
    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

Minecraft is a good example of how good procedural generation can be but its just a difference in the genre, sandboxes work with giant maps because you have near endless possibilities to create, with a game like starfeild you just dont have that

    • @Jugeum
    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

    Quality over quantity

    • @darkphoenix7225
    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

THIS, the witcher 3 has the best method is making sure the open world didn’t feel empty. Starfield didn’t take that approach, at all.

    • @drakealexander6668
    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

    Here’s an example:

    No Man’s Sky
Started on the bottom. It got destroyed by critics and players. They went to work. Years later, they salvaged their game and reputation. It has unlimited amount of planets and stars to explore. There’s an example of going into a grand scale and keeping people engaged.

    • @DdHenley307
    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

How fast is that speeder tho? Rdr2 had a 7 minute run on a horse and there was alot in between those 2 points

    • @stumble_arcana
    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

This is all true, but Star Wars Outlaws is still 100 fucking dollars. No WAY am I playing it.

    • @JackSilver1410
    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

KOTOR had what.. eight planets? Tatooine, Kashyyyk, Manaan, Korriban.. Taris, Dantooine, Rakata Prime. Half a point for the Star Forge..

But how many of those were really good? Manaan was legal debates every two minutes.. Tatooine was roaming the burning desert listening to tusken roars, Kashyyyk was wandering walkways listening to wookiee roars.. Five planets with shit to do sounds like plenty. Provided they’re good planets. I swear to god if I have to wander Kashyyyk one more time…

    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

Will always prefer a handful of small detailed locations than a whole warehouse of empty lifeless procedurally generated nothingness 😂

    • @chuckles471
    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

    Nice Starfield strawman Luke.

As Ubisoft open worlds have gotten bigger they HAVE gotten less interesting. This has been a trend.

    • @Lyoko42o
    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

Outer Wilds only have 5 handmade planets and was a decent game

    • @jediflip2515
    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

Thats still big. To take 5 minutes to cross the entire map…on a speeder…and 3 maps like this

    • @alb_mobile3725
    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

What really matters is the personality.

    • @DRAGONOFDESTINYZ
    • 2024年 7月 16日 9:55am

Then you have no mans sky which has billions of planets, that are all fun and interesting to explore.
