Starset should have been the ones to create a song for the game. You could say it’s practically their area of expertise. Love Imagine Dragons and it’s a great song, but also a missed opportunity.

I thought that was a kazoo at the beginning. Disappointing.

It’s not in the game. To be clear. Current technology allows for such scenes to be in the game. But they are not! If somebody had asked me 20 years ago if I want to play Morrowind in space, there could be only one answer. But this is not Morrowind in space. This is just “ehhh, ok, I guess”.

Thanks for an awesome game, Bethesda! Really gave me that same feeling when I was 14 years old stepping out into the Capital Wasteland for the first time. But the numbers speak for themselves, this is an incredible work of art and helps a lot of us escape the stress of day-to-day life. Damn the game is phenomenal. I always was a Bethesda fan since back in Morrowind times, but this…. this game in unbelievable. I’m a great Sci-Fi fan and there’s only few in this genre that gives people hope for a brighter future. Starfield makes you feel that we can overcome everything and survive and thrive as a species and as a civilization. We have to go out there… we won’t survive if we stay on only one planet. We are life. And life wants to spread everywhere only limited by the technical possibilities. And we are able to do it… to spread terrestrial life snd ourselves into the galactic neighborhood. And this song expresses exact this vision. “Children of the Sky” and “Starfield… a perfect combination. It just works. 16 times the hype.

Bethesda is hiding something about co-op in Starfield from us. I was playing Starfield, chatting with a friend on Xbox chat, when we noticed two very important things: Our game time was exactly the same if we were on the same planet. In 3 cities I dropped a lot of trash items and in the same cities he found this trash. He thought it was a bug, or that she had left it there, but after talking we realized it was my trash.

If this doesn’t get you booting up your Xbox Series console or PC to go exploring and discovering in Space then I don’t know what will! Great work all involved!

Disappointing Game. Loading Screens like 1998. Stupid NPCs with no soul and 0 interaction. They are just filler for the small cities. They try to make the cities look big but they are smaller than in skyrim. Even one man stuidos created better rpg games in the last years with less money… End of an era.

I havent got yet Starfield game but the loading times / bugs typical things that they get fixed in the future that’s what the reviews said and plus you dont have the free roaming space travel that No Man’s Sky have .. I will keep an eye for that game when it gets more updates/patches

GAMEPLAY FIX: can you add a option to show the landing animation everytime you land and stay inside the cockpit instead of auto exiting the ship.. I LOVE THE LANDING ANIMATION lol

What they failed to mention, is that those zoom outs of the planet? Like, when the ship’s taking off from the planet, and the camera’s up higher? What you can see there, is probably most of, if not the ENTIRE map.

See, for those that haven’t played it yet, or haven’t seen it yet, it’s not like No Man’s Sky, where you actually fly your ship down to the surface, and you can fly near the surface, and explore the entire planet as one big map. In Starfield, you pick a spot on the planet to land, via the map. Then press a button and your ship will auto-land in a cutscene. Now, the area you landed, is a fairly smallish square of land. It usually has a few points of interest, like a structure, or cave or something. MAYBE something a bit bigger like a base, sometimes. But that’s it. Then, when you’ve had your fill of that map, you take off in your ship back to space. You can now choose to land in another location on that planet, or land in the same one you were just at. If you pick the same one, it’s just that, the same exact place. But if you pick a new area, it’ll generate it’s own square chunk of land, with a few points of interest on it.

So, yeah. It’s not one big planet you can explore. It’s one big planet, broken up into tiny bite-sized maps that get created as you land. Which, I mean, isn’t the worst thing. You can still land anywhere on any planet. And every place you land usually has at least a few points of interest. Plus you can scan things to fill up the planet’s checklist while you’re there. And it IS kinda nice being able to have a marker on the map where you landed, and actually be able to clear the area by exploring every point of interest.

Mind you. I’m not using this to say the game’s bad. It’s not. It’s not as hype as I was lead to believe, but I’m enjoying it. It’s just Fallout 4, in space. And instead of one big map, you have a bunch of smaller maps of the planets. I enjoy Fallout 4, I enjoy Space, I enjoy the other Fallouts and Elder Scrolls games that feel exactly the same as all the others, including Starfield. You’re still looting every single object that isn’t nailed down, you’re still crafting and building, you’re still shooting people (including Space Pirates instead of Raiders), you’re still looting those people of everything they have, you’re still picking locks, you’re still doing persuasion attempts and skill checks for dialogue, you’re still leveling and spending skill points, you’re still dealing with a limited inventory weight, and having to drop extra stuff to be allowed to fast travel…. Like, it’s literally Fallout 4, in Space.

Starfield Accessibility options are poor. Big F-off to those who need them.

It would make it a perfect game if you could actually create entry sequences for the planets that show the ship actually descending into the planets by going through the atmosphere. I know this is not possible because the planets shown while in orbit aren’t actually an environment that one can go into. They are just spheres with texture maps. BUT for the entry sequences, you all could show a sequence that shows the heated atmosphere heating up and clouds rushing past the windows. And that can be a loading screen. Just show the cockpit pov with clouds and rushing up with re-entry heat. But it will just be a loading screen and then once the world is loaded, show the ship landing into the world. Same with taking off. From the cockpit, show it taking off as in rising up from the ground and then clouds and the atmosphere burn as a loading screen. And when outer space is loaded, then let the player start controlling the ship. But I think that is the only thing missing from the game is the landing and taking off part. Like actually showing those sequences. But the game is still freaking amazing. I was up all night playing!

So this song actually reminds me of my childhood playing halo 3 and now I want to cry😢

The negative points of Starfield. No man’s sky is still better in terms of full planetary ship free roam and planetary exploration plus having co-op. Evidently Bethesda’s Starfield feels like Fallout in space. To make matters worse Bethesda catered for the PC market while leaving the console market with a basic lack luster version of the game despite the fact both markets pay exactly the same price for games and services, Starfield is not developed to use the full power and performance of the Series X, no graphical fidelity options or any other of the extra menus seen on PC.

This made me tear up… :’) Those vocals especially in the last part, WOW, so so emotional… Imagine Dragons went all-out. I already had an emotional moment at the end of the Gameplay Deep Dive video from a few months ago when it ended with that same musical motif and the release date, which was earlier than what I expected and that contributed to the emotion when I was so hyped, and the circle forming around the Starfield logo in front of the moon like that… This music video ends the same way, it’s amazing… Just so much emotion. I’m finally ready for launch, the game just went live for me and is uncompressing in Steam right now… In a few moments I’ll be launching into space… Thank you for the emotion Bethesda!

6.5 out of 10 , if you want starfield to be an awesome game lower your expectations. Sadly the game fails to live up to the hype and there’s no sign of 25 years worth of development, more like 2.5 years of development. Starfield could have potentially been one of the best titles on the market but missed that score due to a lot of missed opportunities.

Playing the game since early access started. I like it so far. Space is a really cool theme for a bethesda rpg. It suits it really well. I wished the exploring aspect of the game would be more like no man’s sky. That’s one of the few things i liked about that game. There is a bit of immersion going lost for me. But i suspect that’s something that would have been to technically challenging to integrate into a game like starfield. Thanks for the great game and your hard work, Bethesda! I really love it.

This is the most FLAT ge ive plate in years , the lighting is soooo bad yeah textures are good but no HDR no Ray Tracing absolutely nothing they calling this New generation of Creation engine im calling it an Ancient engine, the only good thing they did with this game that its available on GamePass tahts it thank god i dont have to buy this $h|t , and yes i got there Controller and now i will be sealing it .

I have played all Bethesda games ever created and I’m loving Starfield .Yes its not a space sim but it was never meant to be. its Skyrim in space and what’s wrong with that ?. People will still be playing this 10 years + So enjoy it for what it is and wait until the mod community get their teeth into it. oh my.
And if you want a space sim like i do sometimes play NMS or eve online or Elite dangerous

Not to be the negative one, the game is great but it deserved better than this. The only cool part was the integration of the starfield theme. But imagine dragons? They’re the most mid band out there. So many better bands could’ve come up with a theme for this game that would’ve been a thousand times better. This song literally sounds like Michael Bolton singing Jack Sparrow from the lonely island. That’s all I hear when I listen to this, I can’t help it. It’s so shit, absolutely garbage. If anyone says it’s good then they are clearly Michael Bolton fans and have no taste in music.

When starfield first announced as a teaser. I thought of being able to show you the mysteries in starfield. As starfield interested us and i even preordered the collectors edition. I hoped to let you play the early access as i was at work. Evenwas gonna give you the watch.

However, as life goes on things doesnt go our way. When that heart attack took you 2 months before the game release it made me think. That life isnt limitless that everyone has a end. That life isnt what you expect and can compare for. That I could no longer spend time with you here. Starfield allowed me to think of something.

That you are somewhere in the stars of starfield and i must go on a journey to find you. I hope one day while playing starfield. I find you friend or foe, random npc that got bethesda’d glitched or something else. If i do not find you, i can imagine you are in the stars. Waiting for me to find you.
