okay, in my opinion you maybe shouldve been more transparent for the big move here because stuff felt too little too late. hope the base game gets fleshed out more on the environmental elements so it doesnt feel as uneventful and sterile but you sure caught my interest for this expansion. prey vibes are a good wind of change for starfield, the sound design in this trailer is amazing.

Ok so there’s going to be an expansion for a game that many of us who payed $110 for the original game can’t even play yet. While they cator to the whims of the ones that play it for free off game pass. They give out advise they already know don’t work even a little and when it all fails they chock it up to its your xBox. When it couldn’t possibly be your xBox that’s the problem. you know because you bought it brand new specifically to play this game plus no other games have this issue on it. Neither old nor new games crash constantly like Starfield does. We try to explain that some mods discover it’s probably related to the size of the download because the games download size that is 115gb don’t crash but the ones that are 107gb and 101gb crash constantly. They ignore it. Nobody knows why some people a mass majority gets the 115gb game size while others get the 107gb and the 101gb size games but it’s a giant middle finger to those who actually paid for the game and get nothing for it. I say us that are being screwed by them get together and file a class action lawsuit. Maybe that’ll get the game fixed or at least get our money back we wasted on this waste of space of a useless game. It’d probably be a great game if it actually played.

I’m calling it now. If you have the “Serpents Embrace” trait, it will change nothing. Bonus points if you bring it up and a character says “you’re not truly of House Va’ruun. You will still be subject to the trials.” (Assuming there will be a trial to prove yourself at some point.) This is a Bethesda game after all. The façade of an RPG but with no real choices.

So is this going to update the main storyline’s writing to be something that’s actually respectful of people’s intelligence, or is this going to more Z-tier, braindead trash like 90% of the questlines and the main story were in the original game?
I have never seen a more powerful example of wasted potential in creativity than I have with Starfield. If I had been part of this project, I wouldn’t put it on my resume.

This looks so much more like what I would expect from a Bethesda space game. Screw that kinda grounded in reality nasapunk. Reality is boring. Give me space fantasy shit and crazy environments.

Though, if I am being honest, 1:46 looks like it’s just regular planets with a filter and some red fog slapped over on top of it so I’ll try not to get my hopes up too much. It really is that crazy marker like structure and the “energy domes” that are the only impressive looking terrain in those scenes. I’m hoping they will take up more of the planet than 1:46 showed.

I so dearly wanted to love starfield but the game is down right uninteresting. as a huge die hard ES fan it was heartbreaking uninstalling this game. I completed a good 90% before NG+ then felt no need to keep playing asfter maybe ng+4.. the combat is lack luster the game talks about being vast but we can fsst travel to unexplored systems. The dialogue is icky like some 17 yearold wrote it. ypu can get thru the game on hardest difficulty without bases or homes. The loot doesnt feel meaningful etc. its missing that Bethesda vibe from the early 2000s. It hurts to say this because i defended this game and played it so thoroughly to end up looking at it with much distaste. This dlc only adds to the content and doesnt fix any of the above. Sad

I was thinking, even before launch, If Starfield would have it’s equivalent to “Oblivion realms” and.. well, this place here reminds me a lot of the Soul Cairn from Skyrim! And I dig it. I really hope they bring also a new or more systems with more wacky looking planets for that reason, because of the coolest things in Bethesda games is the fact you have both the normal places that are more grounded, but also.. the more wacky or creepy places. Skyrim had 3 major added places, Fallout 4 had 2, I hope Starfield doesn’t just do this one, but at least two more big expansions with new planets, new systems.. that have crazy places like this. And also, as an update, melee and unarmed finishing moves! Like Skyrim and Fallout 4 had.. and the game will be everything I ever wanted it to be from the beginning. The rest comes with mods.. like a mp3 player for my Starlording around while bounty hunting and mining.

Better not cost money for this expansion considering how bad the game itself was and is. Only good thing I have heard so far is that 60 FPS is finally available on Xbox

we need more ammo types. we need more guns. we need more skill tree points. we need more skills. and like 1-2 vehicles to help us get around a planet. we need people constantly adding things to your empty planets.. secret caves.. just have a team constantly adding to lore, and slowly building the game up. after awhile you’ll truly have created a lore rich universe with plenty to do.

All I ask is that they allow players to join the great serpent following and add to (forget her names)Andromeda’s romance.

I don’t know if anybody else has this issue, but since the update, I have had no UI Audio. Only in game audio I have is footsteps, and mods don’t work I’m going to try uninstalling and reinstalling the game yet again for the 5th or so time but I am going to give up on this game completely if this does not work

Now, if only this game could do everything else it sets out to do while blowing the other space games out of the water without relying on mods. Like why play this when no mans sky does planets better, elite dangerous does space flight and ship combat better. At least it’s less of a scam than star citizen lol

They really need to fix the main game first… If people actually WANT to play the standard version, they’d totally want to play the DLC.

Is this content fixing all the boring, empty worlds or the dumb AI of the companions? It is adding radio/smartphone/whatever communications, so we don’t need anymore return to quest givers in the same planet as us just to say that the mission was complete? It’s adding more variety of dungeons to we to explore, fixing Alexa’s unfinished questline or even introducing a more diverse and different multiverse instead of annoying us with the same quests over and over again with minute, insignificant differences (dialogue options for the starborn and all those boring events in the Lodge)? No? Then we have no deal. Fix. This. Game. Or even better, abandon it, stop using the Creation Engine and try to re-start it from zero with a different, better engine.

Now that the creation kit and full mod support are available, DLC? Consuming

Wishlist for Shattered Space:
– Let us customize our armors and weapons (aesthetically)
– Large scale space battles, none of this Crimson Fleet Vs SysDef 12-on-12 (maybe?) nonsense. REAL large scale space battles, multiple M Class ships involved, boarding, fighter ships, the works
– Make settlements that are supposed to be heavily populated feel that way.
– Wider variety of actual characters that have at least SOME depth to serve as your crew. Right now the only Crew members worth having are the primary Constellation characters, and even most of them are generic af. (You can have something as simple as a terminal on board player ships that they can use to hire new crew members and the list is different depending on which system youre in. Some can even have “risks” involved with hiring. Thinking about the Crew member you can hire out of the Key who has beef with House Va’Runn but you never see any HV ships show up hunting her).
– For the love of the Great Serpent give us the power to choose where ladders/doors go in our ships for f***’s sake.
– Ability to save “Incomplete” ships so we can piece ships together over the course of a playthrough
– Some decal and other aesthetic options for ships would also be dope. (Imagine being able to make a ship that has an old WWII Fighter paintjob with some lore friendly decals and whatnot)

If you want to really spoil us… the ability to build M Class ships (At a HEFTY in game price) that have a shuttle bay module you can install to use for going to and from other ships/planets… this would also open the door to being able to deal with hostile Boarders…

Not trying to be overly negative, but the trailer tries too hard to create hype where there’s none. Generic scenes of exploration and combat, narrator trying to create story engagement with… what? a space snake cult? also, those abandoned ships seems pretty similar to NMS derelict freighters… I 100% hope I am just wrong and the DLC is good, but the trailer fails to create any positive expectation on me unfortunately.

Obviously Va’ruun themed but i am hoping this DLC explains starborn and temple origins alot more.

They had BETTER introduce interplanetary travel like that of No Man’s Sky. The last straw for me with Starfield 1 was that flying in space is a LITERAL SKYBOX. Separated by cutscenes. Wow. There’s no excuse to not have what No Man’s sky delivered. I can’t be the only one who’s got high expectations for this title.

In early 2006, Annie (pseudonym), a Shenyang Hospital employee, revealed that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was authorizing the harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners while they were still alive. Her ex-husband (a physician) had taken about 2,000 corneas from Falun Gong practitioners. That same year, Peter (pseudonym) disclosed inside information to the Epoch Times that the CCP had a secret concentration camp for Falun Gong practitioners at Sujiatun in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province.

At the time, many people questioned this. They found it inconceivable that someone could remove kidneys, livers, and corneas from people while they were alive because it was so cruel. However, an increasing number of witness testimonies and independent reports began surfacing. Over 2,000 voice recordings revealed that the crimes were initiated by former CCP leader Jiang Zemin. Under the CCP’s directive and its military, the prisons, courts, and hospitals in China created a secret, dark organ supply chain.

In July 2006, Canadian human rights lawyer David Matas and former Secretary of State (Asia Pacific) David Kilgour published a report revealing how Falun Gong practitioners were murdered for their organs. They called this a, “new form of evil on this planet.” During their investigations, Mr. Matas and Mr. Kilgour collected additional evidence, and in 2009 they published Bloody Harvest: Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China.

The United States House of Representatives passed Resolution 343 on June 13, 2016, urging the CCP to immediately stop harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners and other prisoners of conscience. The resolution also requested a reliable, transparent, and independent investigation into this matter.

Led by Sir Geoffrey Nice KC, the China Tribunal investigated this for several months and announced on June 17, 2019, that, “forced organ harvesting has been committed for years throughout China on a significant scale and that Falun Gong practitioners have been one—and probably the main—source of organ supply.” “Commission of Crimes Against Humanity against the Falun Gong… has been proved beyond reasonable doubt…”

The China Tribunal published the full judgment on March 1, 2020. The document contains 160 pages of text and over 300 pages of testimonies from witnesses. Sir Nice KC has stated that no one has questioned the details of the judgment since it was published.

The international community has paid increasing attention to the CCP’s crime of organ harvesting. Many countries have passed legislation to stop their people from going to China for illegal organ transplants. Some laws also sanctioned individuals involved in organ harvesting, including revoking their passports, freezing their assets, and imposing up to 20 years of imprisonment along with a one-million-dollar fine.

Oscar Garay of Spain went to Tianjin on November 11, 2008, for an illegal organ transplant. The procedure took 20 days and cost $130,000. When Garay talked about his trip in 2010, the public learned that the liver he received came from an illegal source.

The Spanish government and the news media began paying attention. An organ transplant law was revised in 2010, forbidding Spanish citizens from accepting illegal organ transplants. Anyone who violates this law will face legal consequences.

In addition, anyone who participates in, advocates for, or organizes illegal transplants will face three to 12 years in prison. Second, if a person receives an organ and knows it is from an illegal source, this person will be sued. Third, any organizations involved in illegal organ transplants or organ trade will be punished. This includes associations, companies, and hospitals.

Also known as H.R.1154 – The Stop Forced Organ Harvesting Act of 2023, this was the first bill passed with a bipartisan majority to hold the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) accountable for these crimes.

The bill reads: “The President must report to Congress a list of persons that facilitate (1) forced organ harvesting, or (2) trafficking in persons for organ harvesting. For each person on the list, the President must impose property- and visa-blocking sanctions.”

In addition, “the State Department may deny or revoke the passport of an individual who has been convicted of a federal crime of knowingly transferring any human organ for valuable consideration for use in human transplantation, if the individual (1) is subject to imprisonment or supervised release resulting from that conviction, and (2) used a passport or crossed an international border when committing that crime.”

Furthermore, the Act imposes against such crimes: 1) civil penalties including a fine of up to $250,000, and 2) criminal penalties including a fine of up to $1 million and imprisonment for not more than 20 years for such crimes.

This legislation was authored by House Representative Chris Smith (Republican), co-chair of the Congressional-Executive Commission on China, who said, “These crimes against humanity are unimaginable.

“Ethnic groups targeted for mass harvesting include Uyghurs—who suffer from Xi Jinping’s ongoing genocide—and the Falun Gong, whose peaceful meditation and exercise practices—and exceptional good health—make their organs highly desirable.”

Tom Cotton, Republican Senator, and Chris Coons, Democratic Senator, initiated a Senate version of the legislation along with more than ten other senators.

I haven’t touched Starfield since Nov 30th, after sinking a lot of time into it over the prior 3mths. It has a lot of design flaws and issues: you’ve received all that feedback. It requires more than just cosmetic creation club stuff or DLC. I hope you continue to work on this game and get it to some state where space feels vast and dangerous, consequences to decisions are permanent and meaningful, and everything is not just a load screen fast travel click away. I’ll come back for this, only because I already paid for it.. overall I’m very disillusioned and went back to Star Citizen and even tried Elite Dangerous to get the space game fix I needed and didn’t get from this.

I lost intrest to this game as i’m in mission where i get destroyed by the enemy ship instantly. One of the Crimson Fleet missions. Nothing I can do about it and my previous save is like from 3-4 hours behind that. So why bother anymore…
