7900XTX is also the best option if you play COD, as that engine favors AMD hardware. With that said, I quite like Nvidia software especially FG. You do need to have system resources available to take advantage of those things though.

I’m still of the opinion that a $70 price difference when spending $1000 is completely worth it for DLSS alone (not FG). I have an xtx and at the time the price difference was massive, but until amd improves FSR significantly, the premium for the 4080s kinda just makes sense.

I will comment in representation of part of your community living in other countries, specifically in Latam, when you mention with 50 extra bucks for a GPU is a best buy over another… Well, sometimes some of us just can’t get there, 50 bucks might be almost nothing for you or at least for most of Americans I think, salaries from Mexico to the south are like 10% of what you earn on a monthly basis. I guess what you earn in half an hour in non professional jobs, we earn it in a day, what you earn in a week would be like two and a half months salary for most of us lol, so believe me 50 bucks is a lot and some countries more to the south, like Uruguay having up to 70-80% in importation fees, so in one way or another it’s an extraordinary achivement to save some money for getting a GPU in Latin America, I recently bought a 7700 XT on Amazon USA and imported it to my country, I didn’t mind if it was having 15-20% less performance for 50 bucks less than the RX 7800 XT, which was my goal, but couldn’t get there, so I was going to throw those 450, but got it for 420, with US taxes and importation fees to my country were like 130 more (thank God I don’t live in Uruguay hehe, if I lived there it would have been +300 dollars more just in importation fees besides shipping and other taxes, in local stores prices are kinda doubled there and in other countries). So, it’s not whining, just pointing out that sometimes 50 bucks could be a big difference that not everyone could afford and I would dare to say that even for some Americans, not all, but some PC builders/gamers would be more than happy to save those 50 dollars and still be satisfied with their purchase, as I am. The good thing is that you explain very well, carefully and in an understandable way what those 50 extra bucks can offer you in exchange. I have a Ryzen 7 3700X SFF build with the EVGA RTX 3060 XC 12GB card, and I’m about to relegate it to my work-from-home PC, with maybe some light gaming in Halo MCC or maybe even Halo Infinite. My high-end PC is a mid-tower in a Jonsbo D31 Mesh case with a Ryzen 9 5900X, MSI Gaming X Slim RTX 4070 Ti Super, 128 GB RAM, and 12TB storage, on an ASUS TUF Gaming B550M-Wifi motherboard. This PC is a beast and I will not be upgrading any further, because the AM5 and Intel 13th/14th gen components just have way too many issues. Well, I might upgrade this PCs CPU to a Ryzen 9 5950X. I heard rumors that AMD is coming out with a 5950X3D variant. I’m intrigued.

I just recently got into PC gaming and I’ve been watching your channel nonstop trying to learn as much as i can. I started with GeForce Now just so i could play and learn mouse and keyboard. Now that I’ve gotten pretty decent with M&K, i want to build my own because there are some games that have a lot of latency and stutter issues on GeForce Now. I honestly thought mouse micro stutter was a common issue when i first started because it was so bad on GN. It was so bad that it made me want to just go back to console gaming. Apparently that is just GeForce Now issues and not common on a good PC. Anyway, i really appreciate your videos and look forward to learning more.

The rx 6800 is like the undertaker of gpus.

nah, tbf, 4070 ti super is the kind of card to have the power to run dlss, frame gen and take adventage of path tracing and ray tracing, for $100 u get more features.
amd becomes less and less easier to recommend after u pass a certain price point

I picked up a used 3060 Ti for 200 and that is a really good price for it. Yes 8Gb is not optimal but its good for 1440p

Ok I have a 4070 super FE. 12gb VRAM is ok for now. I like Nvidia because of the single 12vhpwr connector. One and done no adapters with my modular PSU. the 12vhpwr needs to be the standard.

Don’t forget the 6700XT/6750XT have the same exact core. You can OC the 6700XT yourself to 6750XT core clock speed for daily use with very little impact on temps and power. I got a Sapphire Nitro+ 6700XT for $250 used last summer, amazing value to performance, especially with frame gen on almost any game.
