Has anyone mentioned a list menu of planets and moons youve visited? Like I wanted to go to this moon I can’t remember the name now, but I knew it for what it was and couldn’t find the system so I could punch it into the navi computer.

Oh thank God they’re going to have a ground map that’s actually useful now. That’s wonderful because I have no idea where I am half of the time and how to get there because in cities I don’t see where I can go Oh hey you just have to go this way like 200 yards when reality you have to go about 600 yards Just to get to where you need to go because you have to go and whine and go around all these buildings or something yuck

Let’s all just be happy and satisfied it’s getting added really but then the next step has to be the explorations of planets. Unlike other games some planets really need to have small scale cities or camp sites with space ships close to them. And not hostile npc. There’s really no random encounters in the game I know I’m complaining a lot but y’all spoilt me with ur last 2 good games

This is a lesson to everyone who preorders a game: don’t do it. Ever since Morrowind I am a fan of Bethesda games, I hope they manage to get this game to the level it deserves. I mean, it CAN be done, look at Cyberpunk 2077 (another game I only bought a few months ago, it was worth the wait).

The dynamic local maps in Morrowind (2002), Oblivion (2006), and Skyrim (2011) were always a nice feature, a staple of Creation-engine games. I’d anticipated a sci-fi version of that in Starfield and was floored to discover that a dynamic world map, such an immersive and useful perspective, wasn’t included from launch. Glad to see it’s making a comeback.

Is it truly dynamic like in prior games and versions of the Creation engine, e.g, if I mod in a new building, will it show up on the local map? I hope so!

Just put full effort in ES6.

I hope at least of their big DLCs is only set on 2 planets or maybe even 1, so that there’s less traveling from planet to planet

Very excited to try these changes when they officially drop. Hopefully they can find a way to enhance exploration at some point. I feel like there needs to be a bigger emphasis on “The Journey” similar to what Dragons Dogma 2 did with their world.

This is like one of my first games I was overly excited for and it didn’t disappoint, it was how I imagined it would be and I love it. The next update will make it a lot better though.

We really just want a good game. Gameplay and Quest wise. I hope you guys can fix it but Emil Pagliarulo’s mark will forever be a stain.
