I had one i returned it because they didn’t have drivers for my old motherboard and i don’t feel like replacing all my parts for a gpu that doesn’t work for many older games but it was cheap $175 before tax not bad for a arc750 but i they think i’ll go with amd mostly for the price and they have the drivers I need

I got an arc a310 for 70$ and it had the game codes still. Literally an insane deal, even though I really only bought it for Av1 it games really well

Intel Arc went from being the novice in the industry to being the best GPUs in terms of performance per dollar. Every few weeks they get better and better than the competition in their class.

I just returned the a770 I bought. It botched my os and cpu. I even tried a system restore and changing my gpu and it didn’t save it. I had no choice BUT to reinstall windows.

I’m still gaming on my Intel real 3d i740.

Bought a A580 for a mini itx build. I’m not disappointed with it. Runs extremely well for just $160 on 1080p. Is like I’m relieving that first time I bought the GTX 750 ti but even better.

Hope Intel keeps it coming with their graphics cards. I really think they will have a place in the gaming community.

Why don’t they make them DX12 compatible instead of DX11?

There’s a difference in CS, back when they launched we had GO, which uses directx9, something the arc GPUs weren’t very good at because they just didn’t have the optimizations for such an old api

Yes its generally great for consumers to have more competition. But why bother honestly. People buy purely nvidia. I dont know why. Pricing of 2000 dollars+ on top end cards havent had an impact on that. Maybe the 3000 dollars theyre likely gonna charge for the top end rtx 5000. Idk.

I’ve got an ARC for transcoding in my server and it’s been amazing for gaming VMs as well

I not only play games, I do a bit of video editing. I’ve owned an A380 and an A770. They’re great for AV1 encoding – better I think than NVENC, in terms or picture quality. But they still don’t work right in Topaz Video AI. That’s why I no longer own them. Although, I admit, if I had a free slot in either of my computers, I might buy an A310 just for the AV1 encoding.

My RTX 4070 runs off a single 8pin @ 200 watts. If I wanted to use a cheaper card that took months to patch in a working driver for new releases, I’d switch to AMD.

We just need intel to match AMD/Nvidia high end and midrange GPUs. We need more competition, Cus Nvidia has become too big for its own good and too anti consumer. The fact that RTX 4xxx are selling is big middle finger to gamers. As they all cut down gpu at primer price. Except 4090. Which just catches fire lol. Thanks to is crappy new plug pins.
