If you want to compare Fallout 3, it must be with Fallout NV not with Fallout 4. If you want to compare them, tell beth to give rights to Obsidian to make Fallout NV2 using the same system as Fallout 4. Trust me, like F3, F4 would be left in the dust. That’s a fact.

New vegas had the best guns and ammo. Reloading benches too. Better armor system witht the armor threshold too. 4 has the most updated smooth combat mechanics, to the point i can enjoy combat without ever using vats.

The mod manager still launches through Steam at the end of the day and counts as play time. Still shows up in the analytics.

Also, fallout 3 with 6000 player 😢. It’s okay, I’m sure a couple thousand are playing a tale of two wastelands. That shows up as NV gameplay even though it’s both.

Fo4 downtown Boston kept crashing my game and my quicksave was in the middle of it all…
They fixed it, but i started Fo3 a couple days before the update came out and ive been having allot of fun honestly.

To be fair, The new vegas character argument is really bad. I would debate that probably the biggest part of a game is the game play. Followed 4 has the best gameplay therefore it’s more fun to play as a game. And sure especially by today’s standards a lot of people are interested in story-driven single player games that focus on telling an error and I do too I loved spider man I love God of war I loved fall out new Vegas. But it’s just kind of like a yeah no s*** type of argument to be like yeah people are only playing your game because it’s the funniest to play. Look at games like the first Mario and the first Zelda. They all had pretty bare basic clots save the princess. But still the game play on both of those Original titles on the NeS are super Solid and Amazing games to play today. i’m playing the GOG version of new vegas right now and idk why anyone would play the steam version. i’m playing through an emulator (i have a mac) and out of almost 60 hours of gameplay, i think it’s crashed 3 times? and all of them were immediately after saving. i also haven’t run into any noticeable bugs.

Fallout 3 was a lot of 25+ year olds first FO game. It’s an OG by nostalgia and can’t be rated any lower. Just how it is. Game itself is probably a high 7.

Fallout: NV follows 3 in the sense it’s a great game by nostalgia. It’s rough(er) to play in 2024, which is why most people watching the show won’t go to NV unless they’ve played it before. NV has the best story and DLC, so good that returning players get over the rough(er) gameplay just to relive it. NV would be a 10 if you could just fuckin sprint.

Fallout 4 isn’t bad. Never has been, until the update two days ago which now crashes 3 times a day, even with no mods or creation club content. But regular old Fallout 4 is great. There’s nothing wrong with the game, but story is pretty mid. DLC was mostly “things” and not crazy in depth missions, besides Nuka World.

The only reason FO4 has more players is because it’s the most recent, hands down. Same reason 76 has as many players as it does. If NV was the most recent, it would be the most played. The entire argument is stupid.

My rank is NV, FO4, FO3. NV is just so damn good I can get over the gameplay. FO4 is easy to play. FO3, sorry, but can’t really compare in 2024. It’s “better” than 4, but the mechanics of no sprint, no aim didn’t age well. Game honestly sucks to go back to. That’s my opinion. Maybe we should all just play the game you like. However, if you’ve only played 4 or 76, your opinion is invalid.

Well if there going bye number of players fallout 76 has one thing that beats all of the other games there’s more then one player running around and is the only fallout game you can play with a friend without mods but the game still kinda sucks when you don’t have the right friends to play with

I personally like New Vegas for the story and radio, F4 for the monsters and weapons, F3 for the setting and it also being the first open world 3D game in the franchise, and F76 for being multiplayer and it’s growth as a game through recent years. F1 and F2 are also really good classic Fallout games.

If newvegas or fo3 has the same grpahics as fo4 without mods, ill pick NV and fo3 anyday.

I even Had to start up 76 to get my fallout fix, as I just crushed NV fully modded again, so can’t do that one right away again. 76 is busted up, also new story shiz but it crashes every hour on the hour lol.

NEW Vegas fans are so annoying. I love NV. But I actually always preferred 3 more growing up. Then 4 came out right after I graduated highshcool and it’s my favorite one

Sure, New Vegas has a great story, but so does Fallout 4 (albeit with flaws of course). Which one is better is up for debate and preference. But the gameplay will ALWAYS be the number one thing in a video game.

The game can have a crap and stupid story, but if it’s fun to play, then people will overlook it just to enjoy it.

Also, part of why 4 gets more players is because it’s playable. New Vegas… god, if it was more stable then I’m sure it would have around the same numbers as 4 does.
