Great game. Slow burn turns a lot of Tik tok brains off to it. But it’s good Bethesda space RPG.

Overall it’s good. I don’t like that there’s no map and the worlds are pretty empty atm, but glad it’s not broken like the launches for Fallout 76 and Cyberpunk were. The mod potential is where this game will truly shine and give it longevity in the years to come.

This feels very much “20th century Sci-Fi film soundtrack”-y, and surely this is in part the performance. I highly doubt the rest of the game will sound like this. But I love it, that way or another!

Also hearing a bit of Wing Commander in some of the melodies. Especially at the beginning of this track. I do hope the game has more variety in tracks, because it does repeat the same main melody a lot in this suite.

If StarField is anything like fallout and Skyrim, then surely they music have an epic selection of music while playing the game.

I was surprised to find “space suit” when I was looking under system requirements for starfield on steam. Bethesda sure is known for their immersion.

I know i shouldn’t be on the hype train, and i am cautious of this still…but man, listening to this audio, gives me the same vibes as when i first got Skyrim. It had been a minute since Oblivion. I remember getting home from the store, turning down all the lights. Turning up the volume and starting the game. This audio makes me want to do the same with Starfield, i just hope it at least holds up to that.

I always play the skyrim and oblivion sound track on the way to work, I love the composers Bethesda use. Cant wait to buy this and the game!

Bethesda hits the bullseye again when it comes to game music. Skyrim and Fallout series, especially Fallout 76 has incredible music that fits the atmosphere perfectly. From what I listen to here, I can say that they did it again.

Can’t get over how generic this sounds. Everybody in the comments is amazed, but it’s 10 minutes of the same melody in slightly different variations. Out of all the possibilities, Bethesda chose to go for the default space opera orchestra. Let’s hope the other music will be more interesting.

Every composer trying to make a space exploration theme nowadays must be so mad that Star Trek: Wrath of Khan exists.

I bet this composer is pissed that Star Trek: Wrath of Khan exists.

Imagine this: As you play Starfield, when you land on Earth the game becomes Fallout, and as you travel to a galaxy far away, you find Mundus and upon landing on Nirn, you can play Elder Scrolls.

This brings me Star Wars vibes, and this is awesome! 🤩

Wow; just WOW! This sounds like a movie score. A 100 times better than Fallout 4. In some ways it reminds me of the Stargate movie theme and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan theme. But most game soundtracks sound great till you have heard them hours upon hours of game play.

I kinda miss the piano in the theme
