The art style and the way things move no fluid motion is so outdated. Its like seeing game play from Xbox 360 days or PlayStation 3. but with XS upscaling. the hair and facile hair is so bad oh my God the outlining so noticeable. I can keep going on. I also restarted game but in the settings it says “default mode is Quality”. So I cant change quality mode to performance mode. Please guys help me

Idk. The locked 30 fps has me worried. Visuals don’t mean much when everything is blurry when the camera moves. I could deal with Zelda being 30fps because it is cartoony, but it’s really hard to go back to 30fps, especially with a realistic game like this. I hope, despite the frame rate dips Todd Howard mentioned while they ran it at 60fps on XSX, I still hope that they end up patching in a performance mode. It isn’t a CPU issue. So they can do 1080 or 1440 at 60fps. I wouldn’t mind the frame rate dips from time to time. 30fps is just very difficult nowadays.

bethesda has been an awful dissappointment lately. But this game looks like the thing that may turn it around. I dont wanna get my hopes up nothing good has come out from anyone in years. And the whole time i was watching it i was thinking man the only thing this is missing is magic, then it would be the perfect game ive been waiting for for years. No mans sky and this new garbage looking star wars rebels done right. and if that little slow motion hint at the last second is hinting at magic like i hope then this game may have hit almost every desire that these modern gimic exploiting copycats are ignoring This game might put everything that has ever come before to shame. Then again, it could just be trailer magic. Only time will tell. Then the only thing missing would be settlement management like in fallout 4 but if they do that i hope it far more immersive deatailed and optional of course.

I miss when we as a community of gamers could be genuinely excited about every major new release. When a disappointing game from a huge AAA Dev was a game that felt a just a bit weak in terms gameplay, story, or overall direction, but was ultimately still playable, and enjoyable to some despite flaws. Now starfield, a game from one of my favorite devs of all time, I am looking at not with excitement but caution, because we’ve all just been burned to many times. Unplayable glitchy disasters, gameplay that isn’t just lacking but is straight up disappointing and boring with little to no depth, Stories that lack an ounce of nuance with boring/annoying unrelatable characters, art that is plain and uninspired, repetitive level design. I have no hype for this game. My expectations are that it will be okay, probably fun for a time, and only after a few months of patches. The roleplaying elements will feel lackluster, the shooting mechanics will be passable, and the highlight of the game will be leveling your character and building your ship and base, while finding some cool loot. With stories and side content that falls flat.

Hope we can farm and do settlement stuff and pets etc
