This must be a mod because I’ve tried finalizing a build that was a total of 85 meters and you get an error.

But to confirm your suspicion, this would not be possible. no material existing or conceivable could withstand the lateral force of turning (even just a few degrees) and be this rigid. There _might_ be some conceivable material that can flex to withstand some of the stress on small turns.

Lastly, yes, once you do solve the problem of material, the inertia would crush the occupants against the walls.

Without wind resistance I don’t think the turn would be that terrible. Obviously there’s the differential force of acceleration, but this probably pretty manageable in the absence of air.

To be fair, it’s scifi so the ship probably has inertia dampeners whether they are called that or not that negate the effects of high G turns and manouvers on anyone or anything inside the ship.
