Stop blaming others he will be looking for a unique game in space. And you went complete non-handcrafted experiences and it shows.
It was boring and difficult to navigate. The lore sucked and the world and characters felt so bland
Я не думаю что эту игру делали дольше двух лет.
its not a good game at all
Nope.
Ridiculous statement about ridiculous game 😂
Imagine, we have waited for years for a TES6 or FO5, but bugthesda decided to give us exactly what we never wanted and even managed to get it wrong. Those guys are geniuses at being idiots. Now we have to wait at least 2-3 more years for TES6 which might be as bad as Starfield (btw comparing TES5 to FO4 is downright idiotic, FO4 is a washed down fallout game without any substances).
It’s a boring game that I’ve tried twice to play. Same thing happens each time; I got bored and would just forget what the point of all of it was.
They have not said a word of a lie, cyberpunk 2077 had a far worse launch, more bugs than anyone could dream of, And literally every fake issue levied at Bethesda games all in its main game. Poor choices, a character that is not only voiced but so much their own character you can’t play your own way at all and can’t even name, etc…
But because CDPR made Witcher and those games are reddits darling, they can do no wrong. So fans made excuses, ignored all the games faults and now the online community thinks it’s some top tier game, even though it isn’t even a good rpg. If Bethesda made that game; exactly how it is, people would tear it to shreds lmfao
Starfield is God awful and the best thing about it is that you can delete it at any time and play No Man’s Sky instead. It lacks a lot of what makes Bethesda’s games remotely appealing, most notably trading open world environments for loading screens and procedurally generated grids. This is absolutely the main thing that hurt the game, less world interactivity didn’t help, sixteen times the essential NPCs and railroaded quests & general non consideration for the player as anything but a mindless robot that does what the objective says to do. Terrible design. Fallout 4 has if nothing else the redeeming quality of being a mostly seamless open world with mods and DLCs adding extra world spaces with the same characteristics, with a handful of exceptions the only loading screens you have to sit through are traveling between world spaces and going in & out of larger towns. It’s a shame too, because Fallout 4 in space sounds good, but we didn’t even get that. The only thing that might be better if someone else made it is the gunplay, but it’s just all around irredeemable garbage to the degree I unironically enjoy lambasting it for it’s endless failures. Technically making it successful as a work of art, but the game itself is far and away from that descriptor.
This game’s just boring, flat out lame
If it had have been made by a new developer, it would have been seen as an ambitious failure but it would still be exciting to see what they do next. Instead it’s the 3rd underwhelming game, in a row, by a developer that used to be amazing.
It is received differantly star citizen no mans sky are good games starfield is not. Cringe characters, cringe dialogue, empty poi, boring tedius quests, and it just doesnt fit with what bethesda are good at. Fallout and elderscrolls fit in a map the small towns cities fit with the lore and period they cant execute a massive futuristic city realisticly on this engine the entire experiance was just bland and felt meaningless. Plus the economy was trash. Fallout 4 had a good economy with items with purpose.
It was good game, just once you beat the game it was bland
The story was horrible
The best part is the ship building tbh which puts it as a direct competitor to kerble space program and its loosing
Load screen you to death. Every comma = loading screen (eye, dock, undock, outside planet, inside planet, inside temple, outside temple, eye, dock X 24 powers = 192 but you can do that 10X so 1920 loading screens for maxed out powers.
It’s so mundane, and everything seems way tedious to do.
look at the achievement,
Most people didn’t land on a planet achievement so they didn’t finish the tutorial.
The tutorial was too slow!
I wish, we have a option to skip the tutorial
Yeah, sorry you guys expected a good game. Expectations can be tricky, and we failed horribly in designing anything meaningful, but that’s kinda your fault for having expectations! Anyways, making something that everyone hates sucks, and it’s always going to hurt. Anybody else would take that as a calling to do better and try harder, but not for these copium-huffing dickweeds— they’re too good for effort because, hey, they’re Bethesda! Bethesda never made a game with some substantial issues, right?
The fact starfield isn’t even really an original idea is what hurt the game its no mans sky with less effort its elite dangerous with minimal content updates and no multiplayer to latch onto its mass effect with no passion no deeply emotionally driven narrative and romance dryer than planet earth is in this game, much could have been forgiven if the developers had come out and just admitted that they tried something different and it didn’t work but instead we get excuses and blaming the consumers and i am glad that this person is a FORMER developer at bethesda and i hope anyone like them is as well.
It reminds better than cybertrash 2077!
That’s history!
No. The reputation is garbage because of the empty promises
Idk I think it’s the opposite but I also feel thier vision was bigger then they could handle. I heard they worked on it for 15 years. I feel they should’ve worked on it longer. The way they did the planets they tried a no man’s sky but with just the planet grounds but worse. I enjoyed it besides the planets feeling empty and the generation on planets feeling all the same.
Only people who talk about starfield are the people talking about how bad or how mixed the reviews are it never just comes up like good games often do
The story wasn’t the greatest. I think bethesda is trying too hard. They just need to do things without overthinking. With that said, iI don’t think it’s a flop like a lot of people make it out to be. I think they got sucked into the hype and let themselves down.
Any game would be received very differently if it were made by any other studio.
Starfield just feels bad because Bethesda didn’t focus on their strengths.
-Making huge world maps
-Things to do in those maps
-Immersive sounds and visuals
-Open ended gameplay.
Instead they took the quantity over quality approach. They made 1000 planets with nothing to do on them except doing random Proc Gen dungeons and bumper cart around on them with the buggy (1 year after launch mind you.)
Had they focused on the area around the cities, made towns and quests that took place within the singular map while also having other planets with big maps with their own cities town and quests that sometimes had you jump between the planets, nobody would have complained.
We wanted Skyrim meets Fallout in space, instead we got No Man’s Sky by Bethesda with 0 qualities of what makes No Man’s Sky good.
Despite it feeling like an unfinished game, it is still an amazing game.
starfield feels empty. bethesda “improves” by removing features, this game finally went too far with the removals. you can’t say “if another developer made this game” as an excuse, because no developer makes games that bad in quality and without quantity. you usually have at least one in a aaa game, never do you have a glitch ridden mess with nothing new to do.
No, the game, if it came from anyone else, would still be boring and feel unfinished. Modders have made the game worth playing at least once. Bethesda’s making the game just made it even less appealing, considering what they said and what they finally brought out. Though the game is now a bit better, it still feels to me like an indie game.
There right, it also would be better with half the planets gone
Well, personally, i love Starfield.
still one of my favorites. people are way too negative in anything bethesda or microsoft
What a joke of a game.
Starfield had good ideas but I just feel it was a combination of not great execution/the scope of what they wanted to do kinda got away
Honestly i kinda agree but i just think its held down by the equipment and story telling, i Honestly don’t mind the randomly generated stuff, because i found the citys and stuff they actually built to be huge and expansive and fun to explore and interesting, its just that the story, the characters and the equipment sucked
Wrong. If this is bethesdas mindset then they deserve to fail. The game was boring. As much as I wanted it to be fun, I could not have fun. Barren planets were boring. The missions took you to barren planets. The main story took you to barren planets. Therefore the missions and story were boring.
Shoulda coulda woulda
No, just no. The only reason Starfield is even remembered still is because it was made by Bethesda. Had it been anyone else it’d been forgotten about a week later.
Die walking, that’s cool.
Here’s the problem fallout 3 was the last game they put out that was narratively great fallout 4 was okay but the story was a step back and starfield was a step even further back somebody sent Bethesda some writers they’re struggling. It’s getting to the point where I’m actually terrified that elder scrolls 6 might not even be good and I sure hope I’m wrong
It was a shit game filled with woke nonsense and crappy writing. What’s there to understand?
It was a bad game. Poorly written and wildly outdated. Shockingly bad
Kcd2 was better and cheaper….
