instead of dlc why dont they fix the base game

I think it’s going to be some kind of travel mechanic to allow you to fly probably between planets within a system. And the Lore to implement it.

I honestly like starfield, but its just missing so many things that are becoming more standard for space games. I don’t see how they could get me to come back for anything less than a complete rework of the game. The creation engine just isnt built for the kind of space game i want it to be.

I don’t care new missions and content are welcome.

I only care about an update to space traversal.

I dont play starfield, its all about Star Wars Genesis.

Ok, nobody seems to point out, that 1) these are EARTH COLONIES. So a faction showing up from Earth might think they are the ones in charge.
And B) by definition, being born on another planet makes you an alien, not an Earthling.

Gotta feeling the DLC will have something to do with All-terrain vehicle fleets fighting on the ground of different planets. Terran Marine Corps.

I believe a (Terran Armada Is a Force/Fleet/Group of Armed Vehicles/Ships/Spacecrafts. From human civilization or Earth.) not just a Navy Fleet of Sailboat or battleships in the ocean. 🤷

I mean it would be cool to have a better variety of Land vehicles to use when exploring POIs and running into traveling convoys to loot would be a great quality of life addition to Starfield. Maybe I’m overthinking the little sneak peek they gave us. However the two words they used as the title does create a lot of speculations.

What do you guys think they’ll add to the game with this DLC And/or Update? 🤔

That’s because Bethesda took the Nasa narrative, and even screwed that up! Facts! So yeah, some kind of more alien race or more multiple races of aliens would be really fvking cool. And more ship battles when they try or take over your ship where you have to fight to get it back. Yes, lots of more ship battles is needed. Spacesuits that actually do something providing better armor then just 02. More of different types of weapons. Still the med-bay in the ship still doesn’t work! Outside ship grav walk and ability to grav your own your ship inside . And so much more!

Aliens are absolute nonsense in this game. Players who complain about basic things like the abundance of empty planets (which ties into the lore, mind you) are the same ones demanding ridiculous things like aliens. It’s like they want everything from the game except its own identity.

bethesda teasing with riddles when their game is nearly dead on all platforms. their LAST DLC was a disASTER.

More exploration and planets would be very nice

Shattered space was so garbage I deleted that DLC, they need to just put more things and enemy’s on the planets, more missions to the base game

A sci fi game without intelligent aliens is like a fantasy game without elves

The suns burning out and they need to take all life off world. Maybe the ships aren’t war maybe they are transportation ships

They need to add conflict and war to the game. The game feels like it has no stakes, doing this would really add something.

Maybe it’s like the Star Trek Terran Empire. A mirror universe invading through the unity.😊

No matter what they come out with, it will be a few missions that are forgotten by the rest of the game after finishing them. Afterwards you will be back to playing the original content until they come out with the next one. After Shattered space, I hear nothing of the Va’Ruun except for the occasional Zealots, which were already there. So far, the mod “Legacy’s End-Wild Card” has brought more fun to the game than Shattered Space and the choices still linger. It’s even fun going back and playing again with different choices. That makes for good game play. Running around with a $46,000,000 bounty on your head gets you a lot of battles, Destroying the Vigilance was refreshing and cruising around with the top four members of Crimson fleet in your brig can bring about a bit of satisfaction. The choice is yours, see what happens.(I use other mods like “Incapacificator 3000” and “Useful brigs”)

Maybe the terrans are the people who managed to survive after being left behind during the Earth Exodus and are going to attack the settled systems in revenge for being abandoned.

Unless the new DLC modifies the base game heavily its already dead in the water. Starfield has less players then Skyrim and Fallout 4 right now because people dislike the base game.

Great video Red Wolf, Starfield is one of my all time favorite games that I always play. I think it’s Terran Armada. You can clearly make out a TE-maybe an R with definitely an AN at the end. Then it’s easy to make out Armada. So my guess is Terran Armada.

I really really hope that the DLC is about an alien invasion. That could breathe so much life into the setting.

The next dlc will have 4 times the resolution and 16 times the fidelity!

My thinking is it might be a diverging universe where Terra expanded and survived and now found it’s way through the unity.. So you might have an advance invading Terra Armada from a universe with a completely diverging history… Maybe you can even go to that universe through the unity…

Think about it if earth was slowly dying then they sent out many colony/scout ships what if not all came back or not all decided to reconnect with the other telling them we have found suitable planets to live on cresting there own little pocket of prosperity

I just hope for a better outpost link network, auto sell to merchant when X resource hits a limit, expanded faction quests (not more radients but another 5-10 hour quest line per faction), more factions, build your own colony (think of FO4 where NPCs will move in and you can setup shops), maybe a earth preservation society faction quest line where you try to restore earth.

I would not be surprised if it’s a faction of humans that colonized another region of space and forming an empire or other such thing. That or we’re getting introduced to aliens, possibly the ones that created the artifact or unity.

Bethesda should make DLC about the Origin of first encaunter before the existence of Gravity drive. The story should begin from earth! Before the war that make everything changes!!

I just want space to planet travel with no loading screens. If an indie dev like Hello Games can pull it off, so should Bethesda which is a giant studio backed by a $4 trillion company. I won’t be buying any more dlc until they do that.

It will be a letdown

Additional alien races would totally bring me back to Starfield; solid game, just needs more “flavor” and (communicating) aliens are that flavor. We see 100’s of species of fauna but no sentience. Looks promising!

I mean they never explained during the game who made the temples, artifacts, the starborn suits and ships, etc. So you have to assume some sort of progenitor race or something .

Large scale armada ship battles would be epic (Star Wars Rogue Squadron style). Not sure how Bethesda would pull that off tho

One of the things that this could also mean is new ship building with introduction to a much better ecosystem with larger capital sized ship pieces to play with because you can’t have an ARMADA without giant ships to carry everything

How could you not want aliens? The setting of starfield is so..boring. You need something like aliens to make things a bit more interesting. Just humans isnt fun.

Or it could be an old earth exodus ships. Or maybe we are getting the a Reavers from firefly style.

It could be Terror. Earth is dead so Terra may not make sense.

Terran Armada doesn’t sound alien. It sounds like another human empire. Probably from some lost colony ship, or a united starborn human faction possibly from another universe or from inside the unity itself. They possibly want to unite all the human factions under them if that is the case.

The last thing Bethesda should be doing is teasing us with a 12 second clip…

I don’t think this will be a dlc I think it’s the next update…possibly an expansion of watchtower making it cannon…I definitely don’t think it’s a new race but possibly a new faction but most likely a massive ship/space travel update

Now I’m a Trekkie, and their were plenty humanoid races in Star Trek, so yeah why not in Starfield. Maybe another terran war, And you as a starborn have to find peace in the war. Or maybe the starborn will rebel against the humans. But you said Terran Armada could also mean that we can now have fleets what we talked about before. And bomb human civilization on remote worlds. I hope so it would be cool to see much more space traffic around the settle systems.Also that have a lot to bargain for with KingGath Creations. Things I don’t want to see, multi verse shit, I like how once you go to a new universe you can never go back. It’s a big decision and you feel the pain/disconnect from the world as a Starborn

So assuming that fragmentation and what not was just fun visual cues and not some multi universe melting or what not, I think Terran armada could be another war between the factions

Or revamping space combat, space travel, and/or ship building

Red I am so torn on this tease. The colors remind me of the watchtower mod by Kinggath. So I wonder if they’re teasing a part 2. Then armada meaning ship or a fleet command like system would be cool but watchtower already does that and anyone who is a big fan of starfield should have that creation. I spend most of my time in Starfield on foot. So if they are focusing on ship related features hopefully there’s still cool things to do on foot or maybe with them making flying more rewarding I will want to be in my ship more. Idk excited for more Starfield.
