I absolutely love this game. I understand the criticisms, and I don’t care. Not even a little.

The game is still crap. Just shut it down and move the resources to make better content.

I think there are examples of games with slow start that blew up after DLC release

Starborn was supposed to come this year (2025), but it did has not. Why would you believe anything they say? Bethesda is ALWAYS late, and ALWAYS broken when it first comes out. It’s like they have no talent to spend that 8billion dollars on .

Modify, people are talking about that with starfield. You mean, make it more broken than it already is. Example. I have 4 saves level 165. If i hit 5 saves the game kicks to dashboard no matter what via screen freezes up music stops. Though sometimes quicksave works.🤣😂 but not the actual save, so I had to go back to an older save level 161 reinstall or uninstall.
Then try to do a brand new save, and it worked for now. Haven’t tried to go back since then. Save bloat issues.🤣😂

15 million players, yeah right for 3 days max. After a month it had dropped literally to 5k players lmao.

if the expansions drop in 2026 then theyve missed the mark heavily. it better have some insane level of content if they do so. cause that would be way to slow for DLC releases.

I think half the team right now is working on ports the other half is working on dlc. The good and bad news is we have mods to hold us over. Mods and the switch hardware are going to be a pain to deal with. I’m looking forward to the next dlc but i think it will be more like cyberpunks 2.0 update that we think. I think they’re definitely going to have to modify visuals and certain gameplay mechanics. I like the game dont get me wrong but without mods the game barely feels like a Bethesda game which is understandable considering thr tupe of game.

You know, i am happy about every Console it gets a release as i do love this Game, Dude. But they definitely should release it with a new DLC, or something.

I’m playing on Xbox Series S I was playing the part when you go to the Archive place to get the Terrormorph data and when I took the elevator down the screen went black I tried to reload the game but the screen was still black

on switch 2 it will run at 15 fps

~ this is a bad idea, even giving it a year wont be enough time to optimize the game for the S2. the money spent on this would be better spent fixing the game and waiting for some sort of upgraded / premium S2 which hopefully improves it, as much as possible, to being a modern console instead of a gen behind.

~ 5:45 ya except this has been a bad week for the S2 as elden ring, borderlands 4, ff7 remake, cyberpunk 2077, and even stardew valley are having problems running on it. stardew has the least issues and most are multiplayer based but with the S2 supposed to be an upgrade, and with how youre selling it here, it shouldnt have had this issues at all or reduced the amount it was having.

~ 15 million players isnt 15 million sales. the game “generated $657 million in revenue” which at $70 means they sold over 9.3 million copies. this of course doesnt take into consideration players buying the premium edition but that would mean the number sold is actually lower. players vs sales is manipulative and should always be looked at with suspicion unless theyre willing to back it with proof. sure it could be a slip up, but when its sales they almost always say sales and its been long enough they should have clarified it.

They might be optimizing Starfield for switch 2 but it’ll be a cold day in hell before they optimize it for pc.

So a half baked console, gets a half baked game. lol Sleepfield will now help Switch 2 gamers finally get some sleep.

Tbh, if I’m not mistaken they still need to add the bad ending of Shattered Space properly, it was quite awful last I saw.

With mods it’s great, without….it sucks!

If good I will pick it up on Switch 2. But I am more interested in the next expansion.
