It’s true! We do! Lol!
One of the most magnificent moments in the history of space travel was the first broadcast from lunar orbit by Apollo 8. It was made on Christmas Eve, 1968, as the spacecraft made its first pass across the near side of the Moon. The crew took turns reading the creation passage from Genesis as their orbit took them into lunar sunrise and illuminated the Moon below. It’s absolutely staggering.
