What Bethesda reveals are you expecting for Gamescom 2025?

Bethesda is a bad company. They have a bunch of titles that will sell like hotcakes and yet they fail over and over again to capitalize on it. Their argument about games taking as long as they say it takes to accomplish is flawed in my opinion since I can’t completely prove that with personal experience, but the argument that I do have is to why not expand your company to improve work loads and pump out more titles faster therefore simultaneously racking in more profits at a quicker pace.

I would go 1 step further by cutting out all the dead weight employees that I’d bet a truckload of money is the reason these games are taking about twice as long to make and replacing them with way more competent employees. Which would save the company a lot of money since they would need to have less employees to accomplish this goal.

Fallout 5 = New Vegas 2?

Fallout 3 was a very good game. When you mod “tale of 2 wastelands” (which stitches FO3 with NV together using NV framework) you realize FO3 was a lot better than you remember.

While NV is undoubtedly the superior game – most of the reason is because FO3 had bad controls, bad map, extremely buggy etc. If they gave FO3 oblivion remastered treatment – it would be instantly a lot better than NV. Just like oblivion remastered blows past skyrim.

Obsidian got lucky with NV. Their games are garbage. Outter worlds and Avowed are only seen as good by bloggers that are paid to say so. They put a lot of effort into shaping the narrative online. Not so much effort goes into play testing their own games.

Because NV remastered would be a cash cow – both obsidian and bethesda will fight hard over it. This will probably ruin our chances of ever getting a remaster. I certainly hope not. I hope one of you replies to this with proof im wrong…

BUT – there may be light at the end of this long tunnel…. WHAT IF….

Instead of trying to fight with obsidian to remaster NV…. what if they were making a NV 2 all along? What if fallout 5 is new Vegas 2?

Why else would they make FO tv show season 2 NV themed? Think about it. Would they really be stupid enough to waste this opportunity to line up the show release with game release?

The golden age of gaming is past folks. Use your heads and realize that the games have plenty of lore, dont need anymore games. The only games that are pushing the envelope is fantasy games. No real reason to make anymore games on the same idea over and over again. I like games where its like watching a show and playing like wuthering waves. Mobile games are the new thing folks.

These remakes are shallow cash grabs made by an outside game creation studio. Fallout 3 and New Vegas are great games without a graphics overhaul and tweaked gameplay mechanics. Every year goes by with Elder Scrolls 6 not coming out or no updates is beginning to kill the care for it. Was 13 when falling in love with Oblivion and 18 when Skyrim came out. I’m 33 now….

I would pay $85-$150 for a fallout3/fallout new Vegas remaster bundled with all the dlc for each game.

Things I would personally like. Dishonored 3, Wolfenstein 3, Fallout 3/New Vegas remaster/remake, any news on Elder Scrolls 6. What do I expect, Fallout 76 and Fallout Shelter 2.

I dont want fallout 76 to be going to every single game location id rather see them bring new lore to new locations that we could see again in future games like id love to see Appalachia in a single player game set 200 years later like the other games (76 is only 20 years after bombs)

Meh. Don’t care about the consoles, don’t care about Fallout 76, don’t care about Elder Scrolls, don’t care about Starfield, don’t care about remakes or remasters. Only thing I might care about is Fallout 5 or Fallout New Vegas 2 but honestly, I’ve come to terms with never playing another new Bethesda game and I’m okay with that. Just wish they’d quit breaking the games I already have. I’m in that weird place where I still just barely care enough to listen to rumors like this.

Fallout 4 showed me that I should not be excited for fallout 5. They changed so much from fallout 3 and new Vegas. Fallout 3 and new Vegas weapons was awesome what is all of that ugly crap they added in fallout 4? It doesn’t look like fallout at all. They even changed the 10mm pistol why? You took something that looked good and made it look stupid. They got so lazy there really wasn’t many guns in the game at all. Unique weapons wasn’t unique with the exception of a small few. No real reason to explore like finding unique items/ weapons/clothes. They lost their way. Took a great aesthetic and vibe and changed it for the worst. Everyone always wants to re-invent the wheel because their ego won’t allow them to continue on something that’s already great. Fallout 5 will suck

Imagine someone going on stage, taking the mic, deadpan, saying ”On december 17 we will release two remasters, Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas”. No preamble, no small talk, no drama or excitement-building, nothing, just straight to the point, business-like. The audience would go nuclear.

I would buy fallout 3 so fast because fallout 3 was my first fallout game I play as a child but I was too scared to play it so I never finished it I’ll definitely play the remaster. ( I dictated this so ignore the grammar)

The fallout show sucks, nuking New Vegas is ridiculous. Bethesda can’t make anything good in the modern era, Fallout 76 sucks, Starfield sucks, they have to rely on OTHER developers to REMAKE their old games. TES VI will suck.

New Vegas Remaster would be better, especially with Fallout Season 2 being in New Vegas would help sell the New Vegas Remaster a ton.

Can’t wait to do a PS5 platinum trophy run as opposed on the glitch ridden PS3 version of Fallout 3. Even though my first platinum trophy I ever earned was Fallout 3 on my polarized PlayStation 3, I would love to do a run with the Eugene minigun and most importantly, wear the General Constantine overcoat from the Mothership Zeta DLC with its proper avatar without that damn glitch in which when you equip it, you get the lame ass winterized combat armor from the Operation Anchorage DLC that was present in both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.

I’m against a fallout three and a fallout new vegas remaster for one simple reason…

Most of the great mods that are here now would be lost, and many of the people who did the REALLY good stuff might not return to remake the mods.

I would prefer a NEW GAME than one that I have already bought, own, and made to look better than 4 and 76.

F76 is a game I am not playing. I tried it a few times but there is not much i love about that game. The whole way that game is put together just doesn’t relate to me. Dropping F3 or NV content in that game would be a mistake since I am not interested at all. Overall I am not that exited over a F3 remake, since the Oblivion game was a real disgrace. Never in my life have I seen a game so broken on a modern console, while the community and game journalists are stepping over it as if it’s all no big deal. It’s preposterous. Here again, they seem so eager for an F3 remake in the style of Oblivion’s. And then I think to myself… have you set your standards so incredibly low that, in your mind you actually starting to agree with this shit? Or are you getting paid to make stupid statements like this? It’s exactly this kind of shit people, and that fanboy like behavior (including from journalists) why Bethesda can always get away with these shameful states in which they release their games in. And if the bar of expectations and acceptance is at this very level.. then why would Bethesda even change it? Those Bethesda fanboys are starting to resemble Nintendo fanboys more and more nowadays. They only seem to talk positive things and treat everything that’s wrong as just a minor inconvenience. We’re talking about games that run like crap folks.. on modern hardware. Just realize that for a moment. And if we don’t do anything about it, TES6 and F5 will also end up running on the same game engine as these games. I personally don’t want to think about a scenario like that actually happening. If only Bethesda would put its valuable time and energy into projects that people are actually interested in, instead of StarField and F76. Then that studio would actually make a difference. Instead of half-baked games and a disgraceful remake in 10 years. I’m curious about what Bethesda will do next, but I wouldn’t call it enthusiastic. I’m currently eyeing all their announcements with a very skeptical eye. And I realize I have to play it first before I can truly believe it. Bethesda has shown itself to be unwilling to learn from its mistakes. Even in 10 years time.

Obsidian would be a big mistake. They are not the same studio they were during the release of NV, I hope they dont let them touch it given their recent flops, Outer Worlds 2 looks like a disaster as well. Obsidian is soo full of political activist it would be a s*** show.

unfortunately obsidian isn’t the same studio it was when fallout NV was made, many of the talents behind its success have left and with the absolute fumble that was avowed i’m hesitant to even trust that outer worlds 2 will be anything better, while it would be exciting for sure to see inXile make a fallout i would almost rather see them make interplay’s version which would be a really solid isometric CRPG than what bethesda made it, not Fallout 5 but a Fallout game that shows what a modern take of the classics would look like.

If they did a remake of this game with 1-2 players fully co-op it would reach GOAT status instantly.

Xbox does need to utilize their other studios to produce games of those legendary IP’s like Fallout and Elder Scrolls, help Bethesda out, cause wether they want it or not, people want games of the IP and time is never on our side.

I wish they would work on reducing, if-not eliminating, All or Some of the Many Loading Screens that there are throughout StarField, in order to make it Smoother and a More Immersive Experience over-all !!

There are pleny of other games out there that are of a similar design but run quite happily without all the ‘Stop-Starting’ of gameplay due to Loading Screens…..So I was surprised to see that they made StarField run the way they have !!

And I just wanna say that when you and mag do x and c it has been helping me through a lot of stuff because right now in life I’ve been going through a lot of mental crisis right? So your show helps you in and a lot of the stuff that you do yeah, it’s nice to see what you do of putting news out there about video games, I’m also passionate and as well. It’s just been rough for me cause a lot of things, just keep going on one after another. So I just wanted to let you know that it does help you always tuning in and watching you know, and it’s really awesome. All these video games are coming out with and how they’re getting better and better each and every year and each and every day all the. That is working hard. One thing that everybody should remember is that the doves that work under these big bosses. These Debs worked so hard to create the graphics for these games and The Times that they work hard under. You know consider how much passion that they put into these games. Because these people push themselves to really get that deadline. In these people have such creative passion and desire to make these games for us. Yeah, it’s laundromat. It’s a job when you got bosses over looking you. So I really love what they’ve done, but that’s does done great work and a lot of other creative companies have done great work games have come a long way since I was a young man.

I hope it’s less complex than Starfield. I want an easy Fallout 5 games. No dialog trees, just select a happy face or sad face when a NPC talks to you. Also I don’t have a lot of time to play games. The main quest should be about 8 hours.

C’mon, they have to give us a Remake of Fallout: New Vegas built from the ground up, on Unreal Engine 5. Before a New Vegas 2, or Fallout 5, give us Remakes of Fallout 3 and New Vegas with the latest graphics technologies, animations, and physics. That’s all I’m asking for.
