I had Andreja as my companion (and wife). No bugs, but I chose to cleanse the mission anyway. Was surprised to find the crucible full of dead bodies. No comment from Andreja at all. She still loves me. Had some guilt regarding Amelia Erhart…she wanted to see the stars, now she’s part of them. I was hoping there was an option to convince them that now the mission was theirs to decide. Guess not.

Amanirenas sounds cool. FDR can go to hell. Space Mongols sound perfect 🙂

This is one of my favorite missions of the game. It was wild seeing the clones of world historical figures. This game is ever amazing. Great video.

btw to get amelia as companion u have to support roosevelt and be allied with amanirenas and together destroy the renegades, as a result at the end of the mission you can ask her to join your crew

I tried forever to save everyone but I end up just killing everybody at the end😂 Even befriending Genghis Khan I decided to kill him with the facility because we cannot allow that scum to pass to the galaxies😂

Definitely still bugged I can’t talk to Ada without them attacking me right afterwards tried it like 4 times it doesn’t work.

But what was the actual goal of the project? They leave so much of the datalogs corrupted so you can’t actually piece together the goal. One log suggests the plan was to try and get the clones to throw off the shackles of the program and fight the machines until they took control, and used the facility for their own goals. Another suggested it was to try and just study DNA resequencing, and possibly trying to discover if there is actual “genetic memory” like in Assassin’s Creed. And then another seems to suggest it was to try and foster a new set of leaders. Basically the different mindsets of the 3 leaders in the factions. But that doesn’t make a lot of sense as the Mission Goal from when the project actually launched, before everything went to shit.

Came back from The Facility and the text read, speak with Franklin (I set Franklin to be the main admin). When i went nere him they all started to shoot at me. I let myself be killed to see if something changed but i did not. Maybe spoiler: The main characters only go down except the person/s you have to kill as a result of the truce. The others can not be killed, so was it for me, and then the game reset the area as the main characters stand at the place where you first saw them in entering the compound. That way i shoot at Emilia but could recruit her for my ship anyway. The reset happend when i was looting in the different houses. I feel a little bad since when i left there was only three persons alive (Franklin, Ada, H.H. Holmes), and no new clones. Ada would have been fun to have with me to show all the advancement in science that has been made. Franklin for being a president steeped in history. H.H. Holmes because otherwise he would be there all by himself.

You don’t have to kill everyone if they go hostile – run back to your ship and go off planet and sleep for a few cycles. When you return, they’ll no longerbe hostile. However, you might want to choose “Full Project Cleanse as a protest over the appalling writing and dialogue options. 🙄

I found this mission really late! It’s the only memorable mission in the entire game. I hope they make more fun missions like this.

it wont let me talk to ada it just says choose which leader

Hmmm. Recruit Amelia for 10 Companions achievement progress and drop her off somewhere because max Isolation or kill them all and get 4 unique clothes I might not wear because Fitted Suit has +10% Persuasion, and I am maxxed there too. Maybe in NG+1 I’ll recruit. Which means after I max out in a single playthrough. That is my goal.

I wonder if the everyone going hostile bug is related to a very similar bug in Fallout 4: After completing the main quest in any of the 3 endings where you destroy the Institute, Mayor McDonough is exposed as a synth & takes his secretary hostage, and if you tell him he’ll face justice, he attacks you, and if you kill him & only him, the bug is that all of Diamond City will aggro on you & your companion. I managed to avoid that bug by letting Piper (who will be one of the people confronting McDonough, even if she’s not your active companion) and Diamond City Security kill McDonough without firing a single shot myself.

I’ll have to try that method (letting the NPCs settle things) if I run into this bug & report the results here.

It’s amazing how few times starfield catches a glimpse at something not boring and somehow finds a way to fall flat on its face. If there is a multiverse then this is the one where starfield sucks the most

Btw on that glitch where everyone turns hostile just in case anyone stuck, just go back to your ship right quick sleep for 24h came back and they where not hostile anymore .

Just a Tip, I know this video was 7mths ago but if u don’t do the 3rd reboot option but only 1 of the first 2 u can recruit Amelia Earhart but if you did the 3rd one u can’t recruit her

I brought Andreja, let the queen and kahn attack and gave everything to franklin. No bugs but definitely some minor glitching. I am guessing they have fixed that issue. Andreja had unique dialogue and now wheres a queens garmet because she didnt give me shit

This is definitely one of the more twisted quests, reminded me of Westworld with the dread of Cyberpunk 2077 endings – i.e. you can’t have it all, you must choose what you sacrifice.

Just lucky I guess, I have completed this twice and never ran into any bugs.

If you leave town and stealth until you’re hidden, the npc’s should reset. That’s what worked for me

Amelia’s outfit can be found in one if the expert locked rooms in Wyatts hotel, No need to kill her all over again let the coconut crabs do it.

For any of those who doing this quest and are facing hostile treatment from the curibles. For the sleeping didn’t work. Leaving the companion didn’t work. Removing all weapons didn’t work. I sneaked in from left side. When the bar goes from caution to hidden and then it appears green. That means you are safe and can interact

I love quests like this!! This one was right up there with the “Gary vault” in Fallout 3. “GAARY!! GAAAAARY!! Gary?”

2:30 I’ve sided with Ghengis Khan and managed to talk Roosevelt out of the fight. So I only had to kill Amanirenas, nobody else died.

This is a typicall Fallout Quest.. these type of quests are awesome. I hope they’ll update some more of these into the game.

Currently stuck on grav jumping to Zelaney in this quest line. I have a maxed out class A star eagle with 25LY range… any recommendation’s? I can purchase one more GRAV drive but I don’t think it’ll get me over 25LY. I currently have the 4000 drive. Should I steal / purchase a ship just to jump there?

I encountered a bug where I return from the Facility. I must choose one of three factions to impart information to. One marker is above the Egyptian queen out in the open . The other 2 are presumably above Roosevelt and Ghengis Kahn inside habs. But the doors to those habs are locked, forcing me to choose the Egyptian Queen? Which was not my choice? I’ve reported this to Bethesda’s bugs Discord channel .

I came here because I couldn’t find the seventh of the Facility clues. Just couldn’t pick up a Scanner trail Unfortunately your video fast forwards through those.

I figured out why they get hostel. If the clones spot you looting any of the bodies after killing the faction you have chosen to kill even if they don’t become hostile at first once you speak to which ever faction you’ve sided with and then spoken to Ada they will attack you, but if you don’t loot the bodies or no one can see you looting the bodies before you speak to Ada then the clones don’t become hostile.

Crazy how people play this. Amazing how easy the devs trap all the kids here

My ship can only jump 22 LY, can’t jump 27 LY to follow The Beagle😢

No bugs on the Xbox game pass, sided with Khan, didn’t make peace with FDR, (Sam didn’t like that) killed the prez and queen for the drip. Alejandra got a snake outfit, I look pimpin, and got Emilia to co pilot with Sam. Fun quest, probably would have spared FDR if his outfit was in his cabin, but alas, had to take it off his corpse.

Something that worked for me: Tell your companion to wait by the ship and then you go talk to whoever you choose to give facility info to.

Fast travel as soon as you turn in the quest so that you’re out of range of the town people and the quest won’t bug. Mine was bugging every time I reloaded a save until I fast traveled out to the facility. I even tried leaving my companion at the ship to turn in the quest and it still bugged.

Somehow I survived this without a single bug, I managed to make it so Franklin and genhis made an agreement and amadenias was the only one to get game ended

Thanks for the help with the endings. It did bug and everybody wanted me dead so I did the 1 hour sleep trick. I wanted Emelia so I didn’t want the bloodbath.

Yeah still bugs out after talking to Ada glad they took the time to remove vender chests out of bounds but still haven’t fixed something that takes away from their content

I love all things WW2 related and just that whole time period I find fascinating. So of course when I saw a clone of FDR I choose to side with him. I go through with killing the other two “leaders”, return to FDR where he tells me I now need to go to the Facility and tell it to obey his commands…………… then he and everyone else immediately opens fire on me 🤯

Seeing Amelia Earhart reminded me of that Star Trek Voyager episode

The high ass lvl monster came outta no were and one shot me 🤣2nd time around he was not so lucky

I read another’s comment that suggests dismissing your compaion works. Yes, but also do not kill anyone but the one you chose to. I chose to go after Khan. I ran straight into the place where he was and only took him out. I didnt fire any other shots at any other npc’s. That is how it worked for me.

Where do I get code?

After I return from facility they are still hostile any advice on this ?

I cant even talk to franklin to begin the quest the doors are innacessible i cant open them any ideas to fixing that?

man this quest was like straight out of TOS Star Trek. Loved it.

Seeing a lot of comments about bloodthirsty companions, I had Andreja here and surprisingly she had unique dialogue and that glitch didn’t happen to me

my one is bugged to dosnt matter what i do they all try to attack me

A word of warning about this mission arc. The robots, turrets, and clones onboard the Beagle and the Facility can sometimes turn up as murders if you destroy or kill them. It is stupid but if you have murders and are wondering why that is what happened. You can still complete the mission but you have to run like hell to the end of the Beagle get the code and then run back to the ship before the activating robots block your path. Same thing when you return to the Facility. You will have to run like heck pass the robots, clones, and turrets to the end and make your mission choice. Grab the nearby keycard to get access to the quick exit but make sure you do a grab of the loot before you go. Heh, if you have decent armor it isn’t too hard but I’d have that finger on the medpack key ready to go while you are running.

There is a Amelia outfit (stolen) on a crate in the facility. So you can get her outfit without killing her.

Any way to get Amelia as companion and then have all outfits.. Heard something about return and purge ?

I found that as long as you ONLY kill the hostile lead of the group your against the whole place won’t go hostile after

What’s the access code in the facility

On my quest I think it’s completely really bugged out and I can’t even I can open the doors to talk to the people I’m having Bethesda fix these issues I’m pretty mad

I ended up doing a compromise with FDR and Khan, only had to kill the queen and her followers and then let Khan go and FDR is back running the Crucible. Not sure why I went that route, I intended this to be kind of a “good guy” playthrough and pretty much new this was a bad idea. Now I keep running into Khan and he seems more and more unhinged every time. Probably going to have to “take care of that” soon.

Can you get the Wyatt Erp clothes?

Ok, glad see its not just bugged for me. Glad i made several saves.

One thing (for me) that prevented everyone going hostile was to dismiss my companion before the “talk to the leaders” part. Then only kill Genghis (or whoever you decide to side against). If you have a companion, they will start blasting, negating the “only kill the leader” requirement.

Is there really no way to negotiate peace between all 3?

This quest was so bugged for me. I had to side with Roosevelt for the quest to complete without everyone going crazy trying to kill me.

I sided with genghis khan but after killing the other 2, it won’t let me speak to genghis, but the quest says to speak to him, I’ve reloaded saves, dome everything, anyone have any idea on how to fix?

What’s really annoying is I wanted to do the quest then kill everyone for there unique apparel but they are unkillible except the ghangis Khan it sucks I thought I could get freedom to do what I want in a rpg

Bug I encountered was the beagle didn’t spawn I just flew back and forth to different planets in the system til it worked

I had everyone go hostile multiple times. Had to run to my ship and sleep to calm them down. This was such an awesome hidden gem though, I hope I find more stuff like this

Had a bug where I didn’t talk to Franklin at the start just left and went to do some other things after talking to Tobias and couldn’t acces any doors when I came back wasn’t able to do that quest:(
