
Starfield 2025 – New Ship and New Pickup location
Ship is a little different of a layout while using the same custom modules and arranged to leave room for the excessively tall skydrop modules.
Not sure how many fleet ships I need for the Watchtower content and if it matters. The standard base game limits to 10; but I am enabled through console commands to have 100, just makes captures something I can do without worrying if I have space for another ship. As for What the Watchtower content will throw at me and what it will take to face it, seems right now 4 or 5 ships in the fleet is melting face on anything hostile.
Still like to build ships though and making them so they are persistent is easy enough to do and there are plenty of ways to generate a location to where they can be retrieved. Some are locked behind content; but that was deliberate on my part. Anyway, the first edition of this ship wanted to put in two extra ladders and I don’t want to do glitch assembly. To do the glitch assembly anyway seems to require variants in order to execute the glitching method and these don’t have variants currently to support that method. Not interested in glitching anyway. Don’t want to rely on a mod to deal with the ladders being a pain either, unless I make my own and I am not that far into understanding the CK and snap logic to do that. Randomness of ladders is maybe fine for ships being boarded for capture so they aren’t always the same; but when building one I really cannot stand the random non-sense ladders.
This ship will be assigned to the next companion or one of the next pilots. Was specifically setup to facilitate the oddly tall skydrop modules and be somewhat more like a bay door than rigging a mount for a widget to be hung on the side of one of my ships.
