I just cannot get past Milk’s uninspired level design, if big locations aren’t your strength, make them smaller so it’s less of a glaring issue
Crimson, I think you are missing the point the mod author was trying to forward. The grubs are just one of several stages of the life cycle of the Terromorph. It starts with egg, then grub, then heat leech, then Terromorph, or that is what I think they are trying to put forward. Both the grubs and heat leeches are everywhere, and often they are in the same outposts. Of course everyone thinks the grubs are harmless, they don’t do anything bad. But that is what makes them a perfect first stage invasive species. Everyone ignores the little grubs crawling around until they grow into the next phase, the heat leech. Even then, many people just ignored them and felt they are a bit of a nuisance. But ass soon as we discover that they are baby Terromorphs, then everyone jumps into action. There are so many creatures even here on Earth, that are completely harmless as babies, but ass they grow up, then they become a problem. I just feel the mod author could have been a bit more clear as to what they were trying to do here. They should commit to their theory, or don’t say anything at all. But I have always felt BGS put the grubs in the game as yet another undiscovered stage of Terromorph growth cycle. This something that is very Bethesda, they just left it very ambiguous.
28:19 …escape pods are actually referenced in Starfield several times, the one I can remember off-top my head is the Cassiopia III Mission with Sarah Morgan, where you meet Sona. Sarah talks about her crew using escape pods, with some malfunctioning and exploding in space, before ever getting the opportunity to “launch”.
Wanna know what killed Starfield? The greed. Dear god paid mods galore…. If the modder themselves got the 40% instead of BGS I would understand……so 70% total.
Toasters lie more than anything or anyone ever am I right
Nice baby grow and he has his dogs out lol ahhhh but we really should have escaped pods
Hi my guy well done for yesterday btw a was there for a bit but a fell asleep lol but am after a bit of hell one of the kind people last night told me how to kids go about getting my creation menu working again coz a can’t download any mod on creations it just says can’t connect to servers but someone said something about clearing a cache on my pc and was wondering what that actually means coz I have no clue lol
Hint for all: search spacer bodies inside the shipping center. There is yet another mini quest. Not going to give more detail than that.
Hey MilkArtist, your quests don’t need to take place in overly massive square POI’s all the time.
Other geometric shapes exist ya know…
Coffee time. Neat. Awesome video, thanks for the review and morning movie.
There are escape pods in Sarah’s affinity quest line. Both are crashed so it is hard to see the original design.
“Your ship is so fat, it needs 2 grav drives and 2 reactors to jump .5 LY!”
Thank you thank you, you’re a wonderful audience. I’m here all week, 2 drink minimum.
props to the level design and some other things but that terrible AI voicing kills it all.
An interesting quest, thanks to @TheMilkArtist for making it and @Crimson for reviewing it. If I remember correctly, the ‘first’ occurrence of Xenogrubs was Tau Ceti II, they’re in the building to the north of the Security building.
It’s my belief that Xenogrubs become Heat Leeches and then Terrormorphs, but what do I know, I’m a gamer not a Xenobiologist!
Sara”s Astrodynamics skill, she talks about being able to calculate optimal grav drive trajectory….so i assume someone bad at it, or just making a mistake, would have the opposite effect..
Also, iirc, her affinity quest references escape pods.
Wait but crimson, Didnt you call Themilkartist a hack that’s trying to make a quick buck. Hmmmm, That was such a low blow coming from you. Clearly the mod auther takes his times to produce these quests. He isn’t just copy and pasting them. There is a lot of thought that’s laid out here when designing these quests. It was so dispointing to see people lambest the mod auther like that with the BSI. There are far worse quests modders out there and Themilkartist isn’t one of them.
Oh hey, who’re you? Vanguard you say? okay go to this system and moon, check a crashed freighter and report back.
I wonder what would happen if bethesda releases an anniversary edition with all these 2 hour quest mods. There seems to be loads now.
